Never cease to be impressed by the WDC community, and their devs. Nice to see a really worthwhile cause getting picked up, too.

That's pretty impressive if they were able to raise about $10,000 in a day.  It looks like they're about $65 short now.

We're really pleased to be able to be a part of this and sincerely appreciate WorldCoin stepping up to do it!

As President of The Water Project - the charity who will be using the funds raised to implement a water project in Kenya - it's encouraging when a whole new community of folks like you take the initiative to get involved.

More personally, I've been watching the crypto-currency movement closely over the past few months. While I'd still consider myself a newbie of sorts, I'm very keen to kick off some deeper discussions, both within the crypto-coin world and in our own constituency. I'm fascinated by the potential of this technology to change how we work, serving the poor and enabling economic development.

I've put together an article at https://thewaterproject.org/welcome-cryptos.php that I'm sharing here first.  The audience for this is admittedly varied, so skim over what you know above the video.

I'd love some feedback, additions or corrections here and/or in the comments.

I think there's huge potential for cryptos in the development sector I'm a part of... much beyond the generosity you are already a part of through Worldcoin.

Thank you all.

Nice.  I have been a fan of WorldCoin since I found out about it.

Glad to see it can do good as well. (Although perhaps I should hold off on the kudos until the well is actually built.)

There's a heck of a lot more in store. We are developing an ongoing global fundraising campaign. We will be working with multiple organizations monthly to spread the helping hand of Worldcoin wherever it is needed. "The Worldcoin Initiative" is going to be doing it's part to provide funding for those who needs it the most. More info will be released soon.
