Yeah, stuck there, I just do not know what to do with that money at the moment...

It was not as simple as that (would be nice if it was). He offered various verbal guarantees and provided some information about some of the resources he could use to back that up. I don't understand why he isn't using those (and as it was provided via pm, it is not my place to comment on those here). I also asked about having a parental acknowledgement and/or guarantee because, as is noted above, the guy is 17 which is currently the only thing I know about him. The parent involvement was consistently a blank for whatever reason, and I understand that is his choice. My choice was to step away from this because if I can't get these simple things sorted out easily, I don't need to be worrying about $4k for the next six months.

The backup money I have now is not enough to pay everyone back right now. It would take all my life savings to pay back about 40% of what I owe. A loan would be the best option right now.

Since The Bitmint enterprise solely owner is showing good will to recover lost funds to pay his clients, I am also in good will to help the enterprise and cover up part of his debts. I have the total amount of US$ 55.00 in two Paypal accounts, which I could try to send to any of his clients.

Ouch that is bad news. I still hope that everything can be cleared up, I myself never used his service but he seems to be cleaning this up to the best of his ability, so I would be sad to see it taken to small claims.

Maybe not. If TheBitMan secures a loan then my understanding is the payback would be directly from the lender to TheBitMan's creditors. If TheBitMan is unwilling or unable to secure a BTC loan and needs our services converting USD to BTC we would be happy to help but that seems less and less likely.

Sorry for the delay on updates I have been busy lately. I am talking to patrick now. I looked at every amount and tranactions and everything is good now. I will send patrick the list once he is ready.
