There are too many ICO because of the fact that everyone wants to make a lot of money. ICO is the answer to that but the question is, will there be enough demand for the product to back up the project? That is a category were majority of the ICO's fails to deliver. They just want to make money without even thinking on how it will be. The failed ICO's proved that redundant product and services will not work anymore.
The number of ICO is really growing at a very high rate and I think this is because people love money. ICO is an easy way to get rich if you organize a competent promotion campaign.
There are really a lot of projects and I hope that these projects will be analyzed, because as a rule it happens that projects for the most part are just scam projects, since recently they have just been stamped.
There are a lot of ICO projects, because cryptocurrency and blockchain are just beginning their way, so there is a huge number of companies and startups wishing to introduce new technologies first. I don't think it's bad because competition promotes development.
Whom are you talking to when asking this question?) People are making money, they don't care about these problems

In last few years, the scam projects are less and good projects has great numbers. But in last 1 year, the market gets lot of scam projects because of lot of good projects, so that investors get confused where to invest. The market condition is not good for last 1 year because of these scam ICO projects. So i blame scam ICO projects for everything.
This year there are just too many scammers in this market. And here there is an opportunity to get easy money. I think the amount of time spent by ICO will be much less.

The project they are also promoting are unique and most of it are promising project. However, this promising project will get compromise because the number of investors will compromised with the number of ICO being introduced. So the money of all the investors if it will be evenly distributed the ICO will not going to success because it could not raise more funds that is why i am raising this thread on why there are too many ICO? A great number of ICO's will increase the chance of the ICO's to fail.
in my opinion there is nothing bad in the fact that we will see a lot of icos as a lot of chances for is to ctch the perfect one

Yes there are too many ICOs now and it is becoming disturbing because most people still keep giving them money, if they know they won't be able to get money offering a scam then it would reduced. Alot of projects are already dead less than a year after rasing millions of USD from the space, another thing that becoming a concern to me is the ridiculous valuations of these projects, if Stratis could raised $1 million and those well in the market there is no need of participating in ICOs asking for ridiculous amount of money
People want more projects where they can make money. As a consequence, some individuals are trying to cover this need. Everything is absurdly simple.
I think that there are too many ICOs because it is possible to earn money on these systems but there are many scam projects today. So i prefer being a trader on my own and not take part in unrealiable projects
This is an indication that crypto is growing widely and the number of users are incredibly increasing but it is sad that some people take these opportunity to scam others. We are already flooded with scam project and we really need to be careful in participating with them, otherwise we just lost everything we have. Maybe a certain regulation will filter and help them to eliminate those fake and ghost project before they catch for another victims.

I dont see the ICO number as a problem, the biggest and most important problem what ICOs face is sometimes unbelievably unprofessional teams even in those cases when ICOs are successful. And also the scam ICOs , investors just dont believe that they will turn the profit.

A great number of ICOs will increase the chances of the ICOs fail this is what happening now but we should also know that we are still in the early stages of blockchain technology revolution and there are so many concepts which can help the society. But the main problem scams in the ICO sector because it's very easy to launch ICOs as there are no clear regulation or guidelines on the ICOs on international level for approval of legit ICOs. Due to this Scam ICOs legit ICOs with good intentions and ambition are failing to raise the funds due to lack of trust and supports from the investors.
