Let's hope that this fall was a strategic move by the bulls. If that is the case and that is why they didn't allow bitcoin to fall under 10k, that is actually not a bad move, I would totally understand it. They wanted to break all the longs and make more profit and with that profit they would use that money to increase bitcoin even higher.

Short future buyers are not always bear people, sometimes bulls short future and stop, when they stop bitcoin selling and have short futures the price goes down but they are richer and when they are richer they could long futures and could definitely make a ton of profit to keep it going. That goes on until they run out of money to buy of course, at which point they could redo all of this to make it go higher, however that is just a thought, maybe things are not like this at all.

It looks like we are going under 10k right now, it is really not a good look for bitcoin and I am afraid what it could be doing very soon. Hopefully we do not go under 9k because if we lose the grip on 10k once that means we are not going to be doing well in the near future. Remember how hard it was to go above 10k, that was really not something we could have seen easily and when we went above 10k it always went back down very easily as well, it was a very difficult task.

If we go under 10k and stay there for too long that means we are going to relive all of that again, the price will be under 10k and everything will be horrible for a while. Hopefully we will recover fastly and quickly so that we will not be reliving all those months of work once again all over.

Browse my recent post weeks ago and I've already said that it will happen again Cheesy.
Well, it just came from an analyst which I followed for a long time in Youtube. He also predicted that it will go at around $12,000 then will go down to around $10,000 and his prediction came true Cheesy.

Anyway, if you are here for a long time already you know that the price of Bitcoin will just go back up soon. This is just another buying opportunity for us who are holding Bitcoin for quite some time. Go accumulate more Bitcoin now. There is a chance that this is the last time we see Bitcoin at $10,000.

In the end bull market recovers and goes up again and it gets hit by a dump again yet doesn't give up and tries to go up again and again and again. That is why I keep saying that this is a good thing, let it go down every time it hits high, one day it will not have those people who want to get out.

I'm always positive in the market, everything are in place, we have just one halving finished, the pandemic has no effect in Bitcoin thank God which I consider to be it's biggest trial and investors are making a switch from other market to Cryptocurrency I still believe that it's still the case, this drop although huge after the halving is quite worrying but it will eventually get back on where it was.

Because we know the price will just bounce back.

We are also expecting this fall in the past weeks that the price of Bitcoin is sitting at $11K. It will happen, I didn't get some out since I am planning to reinvest not expecting that it will happen immediately this week but that is fine, I will just keep on holding. Bitcoin is not the only one, a lot of cryptocurrencies too are having a dive now, it is time to reinvest not just on Bitcoin.

I don't know if I'm looking at a different chart but Bitcoin using tradingview right now is priced  at 11,450$, yes Bitcoin had gone up at 12,000$ but it didn't stay at that level very long since it closed the day at 11,660$. Like I have been telling for several days now it doesn't matter how quickly we push the price and how big it is as long as we have weak volume our price surge will just be a surge and nothing all.
You've found it right coz OP posted it last Sept 1 and after that a very short span, the price drops again that is why you can no longer see it. And we can't also expect to keep that line for long.
As of this writing, 2:45 Eastern, USA, she's at $12,000 again.
We are still not able to hold the $12,000 resistance to this time as altcoins keep soaring high with this Defi system. But we are looking forward to having a huge jump in the last quarter of this year. It is, for now, our chance to accumulate more Bitcoin, this will never drop hard, and back to $9,000. We're supposed to think for an inclining sentiment as BER months started but I was not expecting another ATH as it is quite impossible as it shown.

Bull market is literally alive when bitcoin prices keeps going up even though people dump it. That is what a bull market is all about, people could sell as much as they can but usually when there is a big dump that is from bitcoin rich people, they want to get out but not lose money, you can't sell 10 million dollars worth of bitcoin all at once without hurting the market. You know how price goes up and then suddenly goes down? That is exactly when people realize they can sell their thousands of coins all at once.

In the end bull market recovers and goes up again and it gets hit by a dump again yet doesn't give up and tries to go up again and again and again. That is why I keep saying that this is a good thing, let it go down every time it hits high, one day it will not have those people who want to get out.

but overnight for a while bitcoin and alt fell enough to make everyone panic for that moment.
I think it will be a quite deep decline as it is going very fast and will drop below 10k $, but the resistance is strong holding so it makes the price bounce back to 11300 -11500, after dropping quite a lot to 11000 from 12000.
The decline is still continuing but it probably won't be long and the bitcoin price will stay at the same level, people are panicking for sure to sell (CL) and it's not a good decision I'm sure the pumping will happen again but we'll see in our analysis what this is. was there an increase after this decrease?

The resistance is strong enough and it will continue and probably won't pass below 10k$ as investors have full faith in the cryptocurrency.

It looks like the resistance is not strong enough to hold it and has dropped below 10000, after that it did go up again but I think in a few hours it will go down again. maybe what is predicted in the 9600 area will happen.

Good price to pull some profit from Bitcoin in my opinion. Most traders and holders are probably thinking the same and most likely will watch the market a little bit and sell which will reduce price at $11,000 level again (Not unless Bitcoin can hold the $12,000 which then we will have a prosperous year even with the pandemic).

That's a great point, however it's good to notice that whether it's 12k, 11.5k or 11k it's still a very small movement and not of real interest to anyone except for maybe day traders. Bitcoin has the potential to go 20k and much further, and detailed predictions almost rarely come true anyway. Sometimes it's better to focus on the big picture.

I believe that Bitcoin will only rise, and perhaps not as actively as expected, but nevertheless, by the end of 2020 we will see very good results, especially since the US government continues to print paper notes in order to fix the economic problems caused by pandemic coronavirus. Many today are looking for an alternative for investment, because national currencies have lost their trust and BTC is one of the best options.

I do not know when it became 12k, I was probably asleep when that happened but as of right now, it is under 11.5k once again. Bitcoin is like this, I love bitcoin and I admire the idea of bitcoin a lot, I hope that one day bitcoin would be a main payment option however we gotta figure this out man, this volatility is really killing all the things we have worked for, people who see bitcoin rising up joins our ranks and then it drops and they leave, so we are having hard time keeping new recruits.

In the end I hope that one day we will figure out a way to actually stabilize bitcoin a bit more, I am not expecting a ton of slowing down but at least I am hoping a bit of stabilization. Stable coins come in peace around that subject, they could be used as a gateaway between regular cash and crypto.

Now the price is even lower, at about 11200$. But to my opinion such correction was expected. It was not very likely that Bitcoin price stays for a longer period of time at 12000$ or even goes further up. We are having such situation for a longer period of time and to my opinion 12000$ or 12500$ might be the peak for this year.

But the price has crashed again to 11400 USD, I am of the opinion that most likely people are dumping BTC for DeFi projects as it is the one on the radar now. I hope we can get to an all-time high this year

Are you speculating do you have a data on this or any article that can prove that investors and holders are dumping their Bitcoin for DeFi projects, DeFi is still in its early stage, it's not worth to dump your Bitcoin to replace a tokens that have not yet proven their worth, it will take some time for DeFi to fully established themselves.

I still think the bull market is on, but we need to temper our expectations. When the market emerged from the August 2015 lows, it took 1.5 years to test the ATH. It may be quicker this time, but that's definitely not guaranteed. Patience!

Honestly, in some privious september bitcoin price always in red chandle and as you can see now its price seem like will going to the support i.e $10.500. We can't expect too much for its price movement because we can still have a chance to take profit through short position unless you didn't like the derivative market.

Also the decreasing price is happening in gold market, after we saw the price gold touch its new all time high but now the price just slumped down like bitcoin. The economic situation in some countries especially United State country is trying to recover. Maybe some investor out there just change their asset into money fiat to start their bussiness again.

Ethereum and bitcoin together is growing in a mutual way. After the price pumping there is minor price fluctuation. With bitcoin the fluctuation is found high while ethereum drops very minimal. Almost every altcoin available in the market with good volume has turned red. This is good for the traders, and more chance of bull run to begin following this fluctuation happening with time.

I was hoping that it will hold but it did not and as of this writing it went down to $14000 see how very volatile the market is now, several months ago people are hoping that it will go to the $110000 but it took months to climb to that level, so people should not be overconfident on what they are seeing every day in the market.

To those of you above who said it's a normal swing. Have you noticed that we had a big dump on 2 August and the price was pumping for a few days before. Now we had the price pumping for and again on 2 September there's a dump.

Somebody could say there's a pattern. Smiley
If it would happen again on November 2 and December 2 then i would consider it for a pattern and just like on that typical sayings or observation back that Bitcoins price

tends to rise on Weekends and do have some dumps in weekdays. Some people already had just noticed such scenario but we cant just make out conclusions or do heavily relying on that.

If you can make out some positions and make yourself end up on greens or profit then better stick unto that.

I wish the bitcoin price would break the $ 12,000 threshold. But looking back at how it has remained amid the crisis of the pandemic. I think that Bitcoin is showing signs of favorable times to come. For which I am optimistic and grateful with bitcoin. Without there still being a massive adoption, I need it in my day to day.

This totally gives a good hope since eventhough the pandemic hit the economy badly still it shows a strong sign of its dominance. But we shouldn't be worried since for sure we will see some $12,000 in figure since the hype still not been fire out and we might gonna see some strong movements by next year.
On the march to 11K now but not really a dump I guess, just a daily swing in my opinion so don't get panic and start selling just buy more or just keep holding if you don't want to see the price in red again.

Bitcoin will go to moon soon.....

Yeah its just a normal swing but many people get panic already and guess they will be the one who lose there money for their actions.

But the price has crashed again to 11400 USD,

its not really a crash, its within the upper range and just holding there is quite bullish still.    I think today can be seen in the dollar index which gapped up and shows generally that many prices would be under pressure compared to previous days trading but even this measure is lower then August start and that would relate to a fairly safe trade within this upper area.
The longer it holds way above 10500 and in fact 11111 held I think its quite positive that it can gain further.   It'll only really alter price alot if a trend forms in either direction.

Its just really a price swing or a sell-off but people do see these almost 1k swings as a dump and this is where panic would come next specially if they do saw that it would really be heading down
from 12k to 10k+ price.

Is this something new? If you've been here on this market then this would be a typical movement and we cant just see a market that would continue to rise. There's always a point on where people do
plan to sell.

We have seen it did reach 12k but didnt last that long just like on what we saw when we do tend to break 11k and this would be the same story on each price level.

Go that Bitcoin is giving good news, the $ 12k is a warning of the good movement that is coming bullish style, last night reviewing it had an excellent volume to go up, of course most of the movements reviewed from tensorcharts.com were seen with purchases and purchases , this pullback may mean that they are waiting for the best time to go back to looking for the price at $ 12.4k to $ 12.8k, of course, it is all to wait patiently.

Yes, not bad specially on how we start this 2020, I would say that $12k is just a number that we need to get over. Maybe not today again, but there is not a number that bitcoin doesn't overcome, just another test that we need to overcome. Year-to-year we have seen so much growth, so let's just wait till we break that big psychological barrier of $12k.

I'm all right with us breaking the tide again and again at this level. I always said that the 9k to 10k, and conversely, the 10k to 11k range were largely meaningless rides in between, the real barriers were at 9k, and then 12k. So the fact we've actually been holding close, even after profit-taking, I'm totally okay with it.

As expected there goest bitcoin again doing its naturalistic volatility. That's very unfortunate to those who longs it in the future it was easy liquadated good for those who short. I played neutral and pour it instead on YFII and some are on stable coins.

Up and down we go. The true neutral doesn't see any of this and is only waking up when current ATH is revisited;)

Not quite the dreamy heights every other defi bastard is enjoying, but I'm definitely taking this as a good sign, retracements recovering fairly quickly, and moving to weekly higher lows, when we see the higher highs come together in a string as well, that's the steady momentum we've been waiting for. Not bad, Bitcoin, not bad.

It's about time we reached back to it.

I wonder how long we can stick to that price since we can actually see how hard it is to reach such a price. I think it would just drop so quickly because of the resistance to it, maybe let's wait again before the price reached that price again and might break higher price, maybe $12.5K or $12.6K at the end of the year. The price goes back to $11.8K at the time this was posted.

Yeah it need to break that $12.4k support first from August, right now I think it is safe to be at neutral phase I think I may avoid futures and alts as well, focus is on bitcoin by now because when it falls most alts as well. I think fundamentals is good to lean on right now.

Yeah mean we need to break that $12.4 resistance, because that's the price the most traders are selling and make a profit. So everyone just stay calm, it seems that the price is not really holding as of the moment. Let's wait till the end of the week and see how it goes.

Let the market run thru it's normal course, we still have months to go before the end of the year and maybe we can see the price higher than $14k, for all we know.

Most traders and holders are probably thinking the same and most likely will watch the market a little bit and sell which will reduce price at $11,000 level again (Not unless Bitcoin can hold the $12,000 which then we will have a prosperous year even with the pandemic).

Yeah it need to break that $12.4k support first from August, right now I think it is safe to be at neutral phase I think I may avoid futures and alts as well, focus is on bitcoin by now because when it falls most alts as well. I think fundamentals is good to lean on right now.

I read this in an article about bitcoin's dramatic price surge in 2017 a while back...

University of Texas Professor John Griffin and Ohio State Assistant Professor Amin Shams claim their latest research of bitcoin transactions between March 2017 and March 2018 shows that bitcoin was manipulated through large-volume trades that drove the price up.

"This one large player or entity either exhibited clairvoyant market timing or exerted an extremely large price impact on bitcoin that is not observed in aggregate flows from other smaller traders," the academics wrote in a paper, which was shared with Bloomberg ahead of its publication in the Journal of Finance.

If this was true, then someone has to do it again to push bitcoin's price back up to the $20,000 mark. But, I suppose a steady hover between $12,000 and $15,000 is better than a dramatic price surge that will only plunge to all-time low weeks or months later.

There's a lot of sell pressure though from the traders.

Hard to say who we should thank for this move. Probably pump and dumpers who will get it below the top of 12400 and start selling. For them the goal is to get as much fiat out of the market as soon as possible so we can't rely on moves incited by those manipulators.

I'm still waiting for a legit wave of new investors.

The market is extremely irrational right now even the DEFI space is blowing up, and going up 100x or 1000x even with ridiculous fees. I guess this is the best time to hodl your tokens before a big pump, as recently bitcoin just bounce back and made a green monthly candle. I wonder, if the DEFI trends stops then the money flow will surely go back to BTC.

If it holds on september, october will be the next 2017 Wink

Same as the last bull run, we need that October (1st month of the last quarter) to start a new bull run again but this time we will certainly see a new ATH higher than $20,000 if indeed the bull run will come. We are now very stable at $12,000, it's a good sign that there's no significant movement yet, maybe this time we will not fail to break another resistance again and next price would surprise us.

Good luck to us, hopefully more bullish movement of bitcoin will come.

There's really a strong resistance beyond to that price since whenever it touched $12,000 it's suddenly being pulled down. I can't wait to see what's coming and nervously excited at the same time what's the price this December or next year. Maybe it would stay in 12k some time or break straight to the 15k? Who knows? Huh

As of this writing, 2:45 Eastern, USA, she's at $12,000 again.

Cool

Would be more enjoyable if you do post up these kind of things on WO https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/wall-observer-btcusd-bitcoin-price-movement-tracking-discussion-178336  Smiley Its one of the most best threads of this forum when it comes to Bitcoins price progress.
Yeah, we did hit 12k but lets see if it would able to hold up for too long and would be playing around between 12k and 13k. If this one wont be similar situation where price hits up on 12400 and goes back down.

Everything is still questionable and no one does have the crystal ball on what would be the price on next minute.

Then what would be the December?  Cheesy

Very resilient.

This is the true reason why we like bitcoin. Why others don't appreciate how quick it is in recovery despite the volatility of it, it is showing how strong it is during those corrections. Waiting to see it break the next target prices.
