Soon it Will move to top market Cap coins.
XMR/Monero has been considered for a long time as a top market coin. There's no need to debate on that as everyone will agree that Monero is a top class coin that anyone can opt to invest in.

Regardless of the news about delisting on exchanges all won't argue about that description you've said.

It's being removed because of its nature and characteristic and not because of those typical reasons an exchange does for removing a coin in their platforms.
You are right! Theres no need to tell about yet lots had been supporting Monero after all these years and to know that this is second of the most currency used on Dark marketplaces.

even into this casual crypto market where there are lots whom do really like on this project due to true anonymity. When it comes to come to the top spot then i do still doubt that he would

able to beat out Bitcoin and replace it.It might go better than ETH or be on second place but who knows? No one will able to have some glimpse on what future would look like.

Currently its rank #16 on the entire market which isnt bad considering on having thousands of coins in the market.
It is one of the best privacy coin.

And it that makes it worthy for others to know about Monero. No argument needed for its worth as it's very acceptable and too good to say that Monero is one of the top altcoins that anyone can consider.

Even a newbie, he can buy it as his altcoin unless he's too fearful with the news about Monero. But as long as it's okay and there's no problem holding it based from where you are residing, it's just another good altcoin to hold.

Replacing bitcoin at top 1 is just another comparison by most enthusiasts but, I don't think it's still an argument these days.

Looking at price historical data of Monero, and how government may ban the coin due to its privacy strength, I shall stick with BTC/ETH and not invest in Monero at the moment until we get clearer picture of its future/price increase.

Historical prices of this coin did not attract me as an investor  Roll Eyes

Yes of course, But many people are not aware of it. Just like Dash, I've watched since 2018. Dash has no news at all among crypto traders.

Not your Keys, Not your Bitcoins
I don't think that any of the altcoins that are now in the market will be a real competitor to Bitcoin. This is how I view the future: Bitcoin as a worldwide mainstream currency and proof-of-value while many other altcoins/tokens will be used on private sidechains with specific use-cases.

I did some research on this coin but came empty.

Can someone explain to me why this is a good investment? Or worst case scenario it could "replace bitcoin?"
Historically, Monero did a great job with their ecosystem and it can consider as a good investment considering that Monero is a on a top 16 as of posting. Don't look for any coins/tokens that will replace bitcoin, it will not happen in the next decade because bitcoin will remain on top. To OP, Monero is already on top of many cryptocurrencies, this is not a surprise for an old coin but I wander why you're posting this one without any supporting details.

The rank of coin shall not be considered as mean of firm decision to invest money. Seen some coins which are also beyond top 50 but still best as compared to their number of minted supply vs. liquidity in the market. It's actually how you make best use of its volatility. As far as Monero is considered it's surely has amazing fan base. Lots of mining power is now a days dedicated to Monero mining and it's choice of coin.

That clearly states how good this coin is. I guess it doesn't need to prove anything. Just keep investing  :-)

Well, Monero is really different from bitcoin even though they are the same open-source and completely decentralized.
But one thing that I see Monero/[XRP] that did not the same as bitcoin, there is no transparency of the transaction because that is kept your transaction secret amount that is being transferred to another wallet to the public ledger. Perhaps, this is banable for most countries that prone to money laundering.
That will be the sour deal for this coins if they ever get into the financial sector of the government. Surely these coins will not compromise their feature just to accomodate the government but we can't predict a sure future so we have to keep an eye out whether OP's prediction is true.

Monero is the privacy currency, which represents the most decentralization / anonymity that you can currently obtain, but issuing it means that you get more liquidity, which is impossible due to the nature of the currency.
The demand for the currency will increase, but it will not be strong to make it a suitable currency for investment or storage in the long term.

top market Cap coins mean nothings and Inaccurate / incorrect coin scale.
