Being an active user of Wikipedia, I would say that it is not possible to create such an article there. Such a list will be immediately flagged as "promotion" or "advertising" and after reviewing by the admins it will be deleted. Hence I would say that there is no use in spending our precious time in creating such an article or even a sub-section of an existing article.

I think it should not be like that. We should have information about the best casinos that accept Bitcoin around the world. This should be on Wikipedia because so many people use Wikipedia and they should know about such things. Google also helps you find such casinos. One could also compile the list of famous Bitcoin casinos and upload it their websites which might help others. If you do that for the leading crypto casinos, it would not be counted as advertisements or promotion as they already got users.

There's a few overview thread for bitcoin casinos and this but it's not updated. OP might have a different list of his own or wants to include tons of casino in his list. Even though we can find a lot of lists from searching, creating a new one could still be helpful just like the existing threads from this board and it depends on what things or details he'll list.

Creating another will be simplified those information which is not organized yet, if OP have a good list and he manage to organized everything in one place then it can be much better for the benefits of the readers who wanted to learn more about this field.

Anyone can edit wikipedia as they like so this list would not be as helpful as we all wish.In the Gambling board there is a single thread allowed for a crypto gambling casino.On the thread you can read user experiences and check the feedback for each casino.It will be easy to choose where to play based on the stats you read.

And who is going to browse your wiki for the required information? Anyone can set up his own wiki with minimal effort and cost, and then add content to it. But attracting traffic is the most difficult point. Wikipedia is an already established site and it has tens of millions of visitors every day. That's why I say that setting up a thread here would be a better idea. This forum is also quite well established, and if we create a thread here then it can help a lot of the gamblers.

Guess you are looking for a well-known website for this? You could create a separate wiki website for gambling and games then. Why not?. It could become just as popular as Wikipedia in the future. Gaming and gambling are quite popular on the Internet these days.

Why not just create a thread here and update everytime instead of Wikipedia and let the community contribute? I don't think it will be restricted by admin/mods. Just dedicate some time to update. It would be nice if someone search on the internet and the first page to appear is the thread on bitcointalk.

I think we should not abuse Wikipedia to promote the bitcoin casinos. All players want it, so the platform they are using may not be noticed by too many people, so limiting promotion on popular platforms is a great thing. Gambling is not a great thing so don't recommend it on Wikipedia.

Everyone is busy with increasing their post-count and no one seems to have noticed my post. Let me clarify:

1. Wikipedia articles are constantly monitored.
2. Although you can make edits to the existing articles, these edits will be reviewed (especially of you are a new user)
3. In case the reviewer finds that you are indulging in promotion or advertising, then he will revert the edits and ban you from Wikipedia
4. If you are creating a new article instead of editing an existing article, then most probably that article will be nominated for "quick deletion" after review by the moderators
5. Your account, as well as the IP that you used for making the edit will be banned.

I think the OP should create one Wikipedia page about casinos that accept bitcoin so people can add more website to that page.
Soon, if many people can add recommended gambling website, the public will know that cryptocurrency can be used for playing gambling.
But we need to explain to them that playing gambling can make them get an addict and they must know the risk of playing gambling.
Besides creating the Wikipedia page, I think it's better if we can add the games that available in each site in the short explaining.

That's a good idea, but a directory is just enough but if you want to create a site like similar to wikipedia then you should create a testimony because there are some gambling sites that have issues on payment, and withdrawal and betting.

Google can provide you a lot of sources, lists, and reviews about casinos and I don't think wikipedia is the right place for it. This should be moved to gambling discussion section, not bitcoin related.

I definitely agree with you we can easily search and look for it online aside from those information some site also provides the feedbacks of other people about those casino online you can even look in this forum because as far as I know there are some people share their own knowledge and experiences which is a great help for us especially for newbies. Maybe he just wanted to help other people but nowadays people usually takes everything easy using technology. Well I do love looking for new experiences and opportunities from other site but I was able to find the best bitcoin casino for me that offers plenty of gaming games and free bonuses but when there is a time that I want to try something new and different I can easily look for it or I just ask some of my friends. Actually, its great idea I know that you just want to help people to take some opportunities to find the best casino site for them and help them play and enjoy but you should also think about the outcomes and look for some other information that can help you. A lot of newbies are in doubt and feel discombobulated about some list because most of them are just scam sites so if you are really determine to help then it is your choice though.

It sounds like a great idea, with a list of crypto casinos, and with a with notes if there are any serious problems with withdraws. I think this list would be a great guideline to find crypto casinos.

I dont see anything wrong with this one, in fact it can also contribute to people who search for cryptocurrency and they will be aware with this kind of casino which exist in the crypto market. Just make sure that the details you have been listed on the page is pure facts because there's a lot of fake news out there.

Would definitely be good for exposing more people to cryptocurrency based gambling as many people are still not aware that this exists, but I don't see this happening anytime soon still. Wikipedia currently only has a tiny section for online casinos which can be viewed here (click for link), and the only one I know out of the three that accepts Bitcoin is Bet365, and I can find only one match for the word cryptocurrency in the Online Gambling article on there (click for link). Seems like they're not too keen on adding lists in the first place as well.
