I've been receiving some tokens too that I don't know where they come from. And because I'm careful that my MEW will e compromised by at virus I never dare click any of those coin's links. Probably some rubbish coins only. That should be stopped coz its only adding to the network's traffic.

Ethereum is an asset platform. So everyone can issue asset or tokens there. It is almost free. So people do that for fun and send it to other people.

I got some of the coins out of nowhere like that probably to make some exposure and advertisement for their ICO or platform, some of them are just spam or just worthless altcoins giving some airdrops without your application or permission, get used to it if you are a bounty hunter cause they are using bounty spreadsheet to get wallet address.

I believe that it's Ethereum Casper Protocol's testing: https://blockgeeks.com/guides/ethereum-casper/

Hahah, no. Testing of what? Every test and implementation on Ethereum network conducting the testnet first and not on mainnet. And if you just read it with some attention there is even website of the project which is sending those tokens. It's simply an advertisement of that project. Nothing special

There are many ERc-20 tokens like this. Because creating it is easy and simple, those tokens are created to spam the network or to launch ICO scams. Measures must be taken to destroy these tokens and limit them to appear in the future

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!
sometimes i receive random erc20 token too
though i dont know what it is lol
and the amount is big tho, well, since the people could write erc20 with closed eyes,
its easy too to just throw away the token
Those amount isn't big.

The quantity of those tokens are big but in real value, it has nothing to do with its current market value. You can't even throw away those tokens unless you want to spend some gas for those thrownaway tokens that has been passed to you as a way for them to be recognized.

You can think of such things as advertising, because now many fraudsters do this, they have some way to make these tokens appear in your wallet, but they don't have any value!

It happened to me also. Isn't this alarming? Does this not mean they can send OUT tokens from your personal wallet to other wallet?

I hope not...

Why is it a problem anyway? I once got trx this way and simply didn't know for months. It was worth about 30 dollars when I saw it on my exchange profile and it was kind of a nice surprise.

I guess you did not really understand. Those tokens went out of his wallet. Ok, it was a shitcoin, but at least it costs him some gas!

I know but they got a contract spam because the token left but he did not even go in there I think it devalues the eth network and anyone can just mess with our wallets and leave an advertisement as a contract I think vitalik could sort out a way this does not happen
Likely just another shitcoin that they are airdropping to thousands of Ethereum addresses. Scammers sometimes do this, in an attempt to lure people in with the promise of free coins. If the project was worth anything or had any redeeming features whatsoever, they wouldn't be giving it away for free.

Best bet is to just ignore it.
Well, unfortunately it's pretty hard to solve this issue, I guess, because many people might even be interested in random free coins and ethereum is really a platform for all the good and shitty projects out there. Many tokens are distributed randomply to ethereum holders. Perhaps there could be created a feature that would allow one to make his/her wallet unseen by Airdroppers, but I am not sure even about that.

No cause for alarm then as I got same token but in checking it's zero balance. If it isn't what I'm thinking about then they surely for attention of so many investors. Funny set of devs though.

As long as your other tokens and ether balance remain intact, I would say there's no cause to worry much over some ghost shitcoin that was airdropped to your ethereum wallet.
