There was a rumor that Twitter is going to ban cryptocurrency ads. Why won't they stop and just support the new technology?
If this rumor is true then almost all the social media is banning cryptocurrency ads. This could also be a good thing for the legit ICOs because fraudulent and scam ICOs can now be controlled. There are so many ICOs out there that are scam and i think that social media's move to ban cryptocurrency ads is a good move.

Some FUD's was propagated by the whales and its there objectives to ruin the faith and confidence of coin holders , it gonna be strategy to create a panic selling but if it is true that twitter was planning to ban crypto ads, then its their prerogative to do so because they have the right to protect their company and image if it use by some to mislead people.

They won't stop and support it, because those who hate cryptos - those who run and control the fiat Ponzi scheme and various governments, companies (including twitter), etc. - will do everything in their power to undermine cryptos. They know that cryptos have the power to make their control structures obsolete in no time, especially when the masses wake up and start to embrace cryptos. This is why they will attempt to ban, restrict and regulate it while proclaiming that they're doing it for our protection. Yeah right!

That is still a FUD until Twitter release a statement regarding it. For now, as much as possible, let's stop spreading FUD because it is not helpful in the community specially now that crypto coins are in dip. Let's just stay positive and hopeful that everything will be ok. There's a lyrics on a song that "There will always be a rainbow after the rain".

There was a rumor that Twitter is going to ban cryptocurrency ads. Why won't they stop and just support the new technology?

Except from the Twitter, Facebook and Google also banned advertisements related to the cryptos, due to reason that, there are many scam ads those can cheat to people by giving them unrealiable information make them buy cryptos. In this case, these bans can be beneficial to people who are willing to buy cryptocurrencies.
Another reason for ban, i think the idea behind it, is that cryptos have some influence on Banking System towards to negative side. Hereby, many inverstors involved in Banking System are not happy for increasing volume of cryptos that can even eliminate Banking system and can cause to unemployment.

Maybe Twitter CEO doesn't like bitcoin and blockchain technology but the CEO of Facebook has clearly stated in one of the latest interviews that he sees blockchain technology as substantial part of Facebook future but for the moment he has also banned crypto related ads in order to stop scams. If you see many pages about crypto in Facebook are about ponzi schemes and different doublers and coin generators while very few are genuine.

This is not bad news for bitcoin in the long term , I think it is good news after a few months starting from June and up. As a barometer to gauge if this news is good or bad I will let the month of December to judge and I am sure back then it will tell us that in the end it was good news to bitcoin and cryptos in general.

Since facebook and google went public about banning cryptocurrecny ads I am not really surprised that others are following suit. Lot of people have been scammed from these Ads so they are really just trying to protect people who fall prey to these scammers. Although news like this will also affect the market and might lead some people to believe that the market will crash but that too will pass.

I think it is just a strategy of someone else. But I do not think this could ruin the cryptocurrency world.  It is just a warning for us that there are scammers who wanted nothing but our crypto coin. Let us just do not be affected by their fake news. Let us continue supporting the cryptoworld.

If Facebook and Google are going to stop running them its no surprise that Twitter will as well. Its just more orchestrated FUD to put people off and get people to panic sell.

The people are ignorant and that's why It's considered as FUD in the first place because this should be nothing but good news as people won't invest in scams anymore. If you place ads in social media, you're targeting even the people outside the crypto community but If you're advertising in CoinMarketCap or bitcointalk forums and faucets etc. then you're just targeting the people who are interested in cryptocurrencies and these same people are aware of scams etc. while the others are not so we should think of this more as a way to not gain bad publicity because If someone get scammed by something related to crypto, you can be damn sure that he will never look at bitcoin or crypto again and we don't want that.
this sums it up, i'm hoping to see a future where crypto market is resistant to these types of news, a news by just putting a word "ban" can really affect prices especially when a big social media platform like this one.

With a lot of digital currencies that they do not know whether a legitimate or not, they are letting them their advertisements and the way that their users will not be victimize by these scams is not letting their site show this projects or sites. People might not see these advertisements but if people are really supporting and investing in an ICO, I think people will not be affected by these FUDs or banning of Crypto currencies.

Who cares, none of these things are important, just trying to protect people from ICO scams, to think any one with a bit of money is going to see an ad and go WOW, I'm going to throw money at this... come on..

Twitter bar;ey earns money from ads (promoted tweets) and so I don't see them doing that in future. They might however put that your twitter account must be approved to do promotion tweets but this could happen, I don't see why not. There is really bad side of ICO ads and scam/physhing ones but however I don't see any bad side of banning ads. Let them do what they think is neccessery.

Services like Twitter, Facebook and Google don't moderate their advertisements very well, so it takes a lot of effort for them to distinguish between dodgy crypto-related ads (which, let's be honest, is most of them), and legitimate crypto ads.

Crypto scammers can be very persistent - for example, some people create hundreds of phishing domains to trick people who use major crypto services into giving their money to scammers.

Facebook has already banned cryptocurrency advertisements and Google has already decided that they're going to.  It's just a matter of time before other social media platforms do the same, and I don't really see that as a bad thing.
