It is a society which may not be ready to have a black woman.
I'd say her skin colour is more similar to that of Hispanic or Indian people. Dark yes, black nope.
I hope, for the sake of Americans, she doesn't win because I hate socialism in any form, as much as I hate government intervention in the most fundamental aspects of our lives.
Trump is far from perfect, but communism and socialism always lead to poverty and total collapse.
Ironically, I have seen people within the left wing of the United States to suggest Kamala Harris is not left leaning enough and they have accused her of being rather a centrist.
How are we supposed to believe in that matter? Those who call her a unhinged socialist to those who say she is not even a socialist and pushes more towards the center of the political spectrum?
Also, even if the president of the United States declared himself to be a Marxist the whole country would not transition towards communism, the president does not have the centralized power of the republic, there is separation of power and both the house of representatives and the Senate would not socialist/communist laws to past into becoming laws, as most of those lawmakers are sponsored by big corporations in the first place.
No danger in USA going communist whatsoever.
