Maybe just swallow the bitter pill for now and give some information to buy some coins now it is still relatively easy.

What if it becomes even harder and you still need them? Just buy as much as possible before it gets more strict.

Im so sick of trying to buy Bitcoins With a hassle on my credit card !!!
no one will let me buy from them cause im from the USA  WTF

Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

Have tried with coinbase? If you don't know is a bitcoin wallet. It is the most easy way to buy and sell bitcoins. There are some States when it is not possible to sell/buy bitcoin from that but in all the others it is not a problem.

Wait, so why is it not a reasonable solution to buy btc from circle or xapo if you are in the U.S.? I mean they may charge a little bit, but you can buy btc as long as you have funds in your bank account.. Huh
i think you misunderstood  circle.com was the best anwser

Oh yeah, sorry you are right... didn't read the post thoroughly.

I am sorry,Do you really have that kind of restriction in USA,kind of madness,i ve been thinking you joke
here i can buy btc even through sms or in money machine without using any card, just cash,or in shop
it is same easy like to pay for prepaid sim card
some states here is harder to get BTC i live in bum fuck Alabama and there is no BTC anywhere but go to NY and they have a BTC machine

Yeah, that's the problem with living in the south... I live in Georgia and tried to look up people selling btc on localbitcoins.com and there was like maybe 1 or 2 people within a 100 mile radius.  Can't wait to get my degree and leave the bible belt...
exactly my problem so used circle.com

When I first got into bitcoin, about 6 or 7 months ago I decided to make a trade face to face in LocalBitcoins, although the trade went fine, I felt as if I was doing something wrong when I wasn’t so all this regulations seem to me to be over the top.

Well, it depends on how much money you exchanged. If he was paying you a big amount, then it was most certainly a crime because I think it's illegal to do exchanges of money that go after X amount untaxed (again im not sure, I have never done big exchanges of cash money and probably depends on the country) and the thing is with Bitcoin you could trade millions if the guy had millions in cash to give to you.

I agree..it almost feels like a drug deal. t because you're doing a deal that most people don't even understand what you are doing and you are meting strangers to buy something

Buy physical bitcoins - Casascius are the best.

I don't think you should worry too much about the information these companies ask for, it says that the country considers the currency and it's industry are legit, to be respected.

casascius are nice, probably your best bet for physical coins.

my one issue with them is in case you ever needed to liquidate btc fast, those can make things tough.  I mean, if youre willing to just part with the coin premium and redeem the face value of the coin then you lose the premium value, which in some cases can be pretty significant, esp if its a graded coin.  Just somethign to consider.

Well what else do you expect? Credit card fraud is one of the biggest frauds the internet and ecommerce has ever experienced. Bitcoin, a decentralized currency, and credit cards, which are supported by the bank, simply don't mix. Besides the principle of the two interfering, the fact remains, credit card scammers will always want to find ways to cash out the funds on the card, into real cash. Bitcoin will always remain a target which is why exchanges will never take credit cards.
