Some managers simply don't care about them, do you know why? At the end they are still paid so they don't care if someone will abuse or not.

Or maybe, just maybe, that lazy managers are the one who abuse their own bounty with bots or people hired by the managers. It is just a “maybe” from me. This situation would be better if there are some  standard to become a manager, and all managers are gathered in one association, so they will have rules and if they break it, other managers will punish them.

I think campaigns are the only biggest problem here in this forum. What if campaigns would be remove here on the forum forever maybe it's the only way to avoid users to make alts and also reduces spam and many of them would go offline and never to re-open their accounts. As i've read some topics here, the situation was always repeated all about spams, alts of anyone, etc.. so maybe it's better that way.

Here are some of the ICO announcement threads that are run by bots that I know of. You can easily say its run by bots by looking at the posts and who are those posting. Most are newbies, newly created, 1-3 posts only and their posts are usually one liner. Soem of them are even copied from another thread just like what I posted here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.36750497

At least they get a red trust. Even if they create a new account they rank maybe no more than Jr, unless their posts have good quality. Because of the merit they are increasingly difficult to board the rank. And i am looking for users who have multiple accounts but only one person owns.

Actually i've post where it should be. There are already in the response and some are not yet. I hope all posts that i make will be in response as soon as possible Smiley Because maybe I will find another users.

Well yeah but if you check out the topic OP provided, you'd see that a good number of them is a newbie rank. I mean, you can't stop that without banning bounties and airdrops that accept low ranks. You can just let them spam in that topic, because they have no reason to post outside alt-coin marketplace. :/

Tho, I didn't notice that they restrict those who join to one account, at least on the first page of the topic.

Well seeing how low requirements are for airdrops and bounties, I believe that they've already made new accounts. :/

Boy, oh boy, that's a lot of accounts...  Some people are really going above and beyond with these airdrops and bounties... Do they really make that much money that makes all of this worth it?

Good job for getting them to get red trust! Will make it hard for them to join bounty Smiley

Everything you said does kind of point in the direction of bots, or at least some form of automated behavior. At the very least, these users are copying and pasting from the same script. More realistically, they are the same script, though. Could it be possible that these ICOs are hiring some shifty marketing manager that simply has hoardes of accounts that will shill the project and enroll in the campaign? It would be a sort of circular approach, they pay the marketing guy that claims he can get X amount of views/posts/interactions, but all the accounts used are simply the marketing guy who then gets paid to enroll in the signature campaigns as well. That's probably not the best way for me to explain it, but that's where my mind first goes when I see all of these different projects and different accounts shilling in the same manner.

I'm not convinced they're bots either, but in the end it doesn't really matter--they're shitposting bounty-hunting scunts that need to be banned.

Fair enough. You are definitely right about them being pretty worthless to the forum. I was just wondering if there was something going way over my head, rather than an exuberant thread title. Bots or not, the outcome is still the same and definitely needs some course of action.

I envision a big room somewhere, that probably smells of cigarette smoke and body odor, where about a dozen young men sit at laptops, some with headphones in, and all of these guys are members of bitcointalk and each has about 20 accounts with which they earn money in bounties.  The carpet is probably stained beyond repair.  They all go by a basic script when posting, which is why much of their output sounds redundant and repetitive.  There is no originality in that room they're in, just desperation and poverty.

You bastard, I was drinking a delicious homemade smoothie and just spilled some out of my mouth while laughing. That's more or less what I was getting at, but I presume this isn't any better than it being bots, just a little more sad.

Or it really could be a bot--who knows.  But I don't fault marlboroza for thinking so, because that's exactly what it looks like.

Yeah, I'm not faulting them for thinking this by any means. I'm just looking for some explanation on the subject. The damage is the same, bot or not, although if it is bots then they have a much greater capability for scale-able damage. With any luck we'll have AI running around the forum doing a better job at posting constructively than these shitposters, maybe they'll even become quite the moderators (the AI, not the shitposters).

So, after looking through the proof I am trying to arrive at the same conclusion that you have, but I am failing to do so. It might be due to my inability to understand the information in front of my face, but please do entertain me. What drives you to believe these accounts are bots, rather than humans? I've read through the thread here and either I've missed that bit, or it wasn't included.

Could it be possible that it is just a very bored person, or a group of people operating very poorly and systematically? I definitely see the link between the accounts, but not that they were anything outside of human.

That is also possibility, but judging the number of accounts, their nicks, posts and the way how they are applying to bounties with each others twitters and other things this is less likely(there are more accounts). Look at this:

The magnificent image of AVALON cannot be lost or stolen, nor can it be carried away. Purchased with common sense, paid for in full, and managed with reasonable care, it is about the safest investment in the world
The magnificent image of Joulecoin cannot be lost or stolen, nor can it be carried away. Purchased with common sense, paid for in full, and managed with reasonable care, it is about the safest investment in the world
The magnificent image of FUNDARIA cannot be lost or stolen, nor can it be carried away. Purchased with common sense, paid for in full, and managed with reasonable care, it is about the safest investment in the world
The magnificent image of Minereum cannot be lost or stolen, nor can it be carried away. Purchased with common sense, paid for in full, and managed with reasonable care, it is about the safest investment in the world.
The magnificent image of SLVR cannot be lost or stolen, nor can it be carried away. Purchased with common sense, paid for in full, and managed with reasonable care, it is about the safest investment in the world
The magnificent image of SLEFPAY.ASIA cannot be lost or stolen, nor can it be carried away. Purchased with common sense, paid for in full, and managed with reasonable care, it is about the safest investment in the world

Post above yours is different case and it shows only 1 and a half page of 43 pages, it would probably took me more than a week to post all stuff.

Bunch of newbie/junior member accounts trying to enroll in campaigns, but this ain't human we are talking about.
I We scratched the surface and I think there are not hundreds, there are thousands bots.

Specifically in this thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/airdrop-seda-decentralized-recruitment-on-the-blockchain-3326541 (oh, well...in others topics too)

CASE 2

From these topics: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/biggest-airdrop-delicia-ico-decentralized-food-network-3339619 and https://archive.fo/KSKvQ

https://etherscan.io/address/0xe6c2d451936dfca11fa968426b93e70f8a135221#tokentxns contains large number of PHI tokens ( 4300), each transaction has only 1 PHI token IN  and there were all transfered within 2 hours.

If we search forum for each one address from these 4300 transactions, starting from last addy on page 43(at the moment) https://etherscan.io/tokentxns?a=0xe6c2d451936dfca11fa968426b93e70f8a135221&ps=100&p=43 :

Dear admin,

Please help me to solve this urgent case.
Someone cheated and used my telegram and my bitcoin talk profile to register in Telegram bounty again with his ETH address.
As you can see in the google sheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1cIVWT3OfWvHwzy4rBbK8Z57ic-V1NaTiA7KhFCKBy9U/edit#gid=1330074129
I registered with ID 113 in the sheet on 29.12.2017 17:20:45
Someone registered again with ID 347 in the sheet  on 09.01.2018 05:45:21 with ETH address 0xA22Fb91A7bc58c9847600966946560421392f549
This ETH address is NOT mine.

You can search with the ETH address in another google sheet such as 'Blog and Media', 'Facebook' and see that this ETH address is used but he/she re-used  other user account, same like my case.
Please check and help to remove ID347 from 'Telegram' sheet.
We are community and should respect together. We do not let someone cheat, do not work anything but get other's benefit
This will impact to all users who joined the bounty and advertised hardly.

Thanks a lot

...only proves my theory.

Not going to answer me?
I have to edit my topic, it looks very messy, and also there are few more bots/alts/whatever in second first post.

What do you think, should I separate alt accounts from proofs in reserved posts?
You know, first post for accounts, last one for ether/btc addresses and twitter id, second and third reserved for posts?

Yeah, I'll do that.

Not going to answer me? why is it bad if instead of tagging garbage posters and alt accounts for eternity, we could actually turn this opportunity in to the forum's advantage by having them to either donate to the forum or help the mods by reporting off topic and garbage posts? it should be under some conditions, such as tagging them again if they used their accounts to post garbage and cheat campaigns.

Me suggesting this makes me an extortionist? untrustworthy? did you think that I was going to tag people and then ask for money for myself?

Hack that's a LONG list. I wounder how much hours you had spent investigating all these ALTs.
To many hours, I mean, it took me around 15 minutes to find connection but quoting and reposting took few hours, it should be easier to connect other accounts because of their twitter accounts, it is time consuming and I will probably do it on weekend when I won't be so damn tired.
I like the variations LOL
I honestly think they are all bots. Just take a look at this post (posted by BeEvil in known alts topic):
