Even the coin has a good purpose and it seems like it will dominate the market there is still a chance that the coin will frustrates you because of the team behind it, it is good if the team will be there until the end but most of the time after the listing of the coin the roadmap stops and they are abandoning the project.
The market is difficult to predict but in 2019 it will run better and will bring new hope, and buying will be better for future profits.

I don’t really know for altcoins, but for Bitcoin, I’m very sure that this year the price is going to leave opponents in the dust. So I’m going to keep holding my coins, I believe till the second half of this year, cause that’s likely to be when the price will start to go up. I will be very sorry for those who will decide to sell their coins now, cause they will regret giving up this time around after thru have held for so long.
If i had money then yep i would invest more as i belive recover of market is coming soon ,and all this time havent sell tokens/coins and i hold most of my coins ,hope i will not regret for it and i will be rewarded for it , most important lesson from 2018 is when someone wants do ICO must be sure usable product will be done.

This is the main concern of all the crypto hodlers. I am mixing these two activities. I am trading and selling my alts and accumulating more Bitcoins right now. I think that BTC is very low right now and it will moon more than the alts will do. So, when I see the price of an altcoin that seems reasonable to sell I instantly sell it for buying BTC. Even a small rise will happen in the market sooner or later.

Why not try to do both? Since you need to diversify it all to make it a good habit of earning money without having any problems in one of them doesn't go well in the end.

The only thing that is certain right now is that most of the coins in the market have really hit a strong bottom. They might fall lower or consolidate for a while, but most investments right now from ICO or any coin, which includes the boss, bitcoin is a good moment for purchasing them.). At the moment, and just like you have mentioned, HODL is the best idea and even the best is to help yourself with the down market so that when recovery comes, those who probably have been holding from the peak at loss would be breaking even for more profit quickly.
I think for now investing is good choice, because this year the market will return to stabilize. This is just my opinion
I am not going to do either. I will not be selling because that would mean loss to the tune of 1/4th of the original value. I cannot afford to loose that much and I know that prices will eventually rise in future.

That is you own individual decision to make either to keep holding of sale off to cut losses, but to me it better to hold cause when you sale during this blood bath then you stand to lose but you protect your assets when you hold cause no body knows what will happen in the market in the next few days ahead.
The challenge is the assurance of the space bottom price. e.i not going below $3000. I seem not to know the difference in investment in Altcoin and bitcoin now. Most altcoin has the capacity to give a higher multiplying reward from this bottom value but for most bitcoin enthusiast nothing can be assuring than the bitcoin. I will keep my eyes to observe the difference this time around.

When the market is deeply low price, like what happen now. We don't have a choice is just to hold, even me I have a lot of shit coins but I still holding on waiting for the market turns back to the green season. Invest as much as you can now while it is cheap and patiently wait to gain a profit.
