I would start with local or small bands that have any decent following 100+ and offer them higher %'s than itunes and so on for music bought through your store. Not only would it promote their band to a new demographic it would also give you a chance to make some decent profits if a certain group does happen to end up doing well.
I would love for this to happen and fully support you ... You could make this for the bitcoin community so anyone whose singer among us, would make a contract with you and you be the publisher and seller on your website ... I will certainly unleash my voice talent when it's launched 
I think this is a fantastic idea but i fear you will not be able to get anywhere with it due to licensing and so on.
I like the idea, But don't you need like a license to the record label to sell their music?
As we have iTunes/Beat-port where we usually purchase music I was thinking to start a bitcoin accepting music store where all the music could be purchased using cryptocurrencies. The.The structure of the store will be same as Itunes or beat-port but you'll have your wallet linked with the music store which could be used to buy music.Any sort of ideas/suggestions appreciated !
