It happened to me lot of time before i can quit for good. When i first experience to lose a lot of money because of gambling i thought of quitting but eventually because i want to recover my loses i kept on gambling many times until one day i stopped depositing any amount or even trying to play faucet from a gambling site until i forgot to login on any gambling site. Quitting is hard but if you are determined you'll be able to quit for good.

never think about it to be honest, i have a budget to play with every month, if i win i cash out, if i loos i wait until next month:)
I have a question for you. If you never think about quitting after those losses, did it came to your mind that you regret losing and you have felt that what will happen to your money if you never gambled it?

This is the most common question will come to your mind always when loosing everything and sitting ideal that time you will think how much you lost and if you have never gambled then how much richer would have been. But what went off can be done nothing but just guessing is the only work will be going on.
I really should not expect it to be the most common question that comes to mind if you really know that gambling is meant to empty your pocket eventually anyway and unless you get extremely lucky, there is really nothing else you can get from it, than that.
Hence, if you are thinking of quitting after losing, then it is possible you never even prepared your mind before gambling that you are indeed bound to lose, and that is a problem.

The point is the goal of a person in gambling, many people have a goal to get profit, of course when they lose and lose their money, they will think to stop because it is different from their expectations, in contrast to people who gamble for fun, they don't care about winning or lose because they like gambling

If they lose a big amount, it is very common thought to quit but if that amount is not much, they just have a break to gamble for a while.
It depends on the people if someone is very confident then he will try to chase back again and again but the over confidence will leads to crisis in the gambling so if we exceeds the limit of the gambling budget then we need to stop on that day but quiting means everything over even after he quit it may not have any benefits try to act when there is a loght.
That confidence after winning, with the mindset that the same thing can happen again is the reason why some people always end up losing their winnings and even losing more while getting addicted in the process.

This is the reason why anyone who knows right from the onset that they are bound to always lose from gambling will know what to do if they manage to get lucky and that is to utilize what they are lucky to have effectively and not get too comfortable thinking gambling has set them on a mission to gain massive wealth.

Quitting after loosing is a sign that you are a looser.Remember gambling is for fun only just enjoy it and dont emotional and loosing all your asset it all happens.

But still, there are a lot of gamblers or people who take gambling so seriously like their lives depend on it. I don't blame them, Gambling can be a source of income but that is so hard to do since you can't just rely on it because you can't always ensure a great or huge win every time you gamble in a casino or online.

I gamble for fun though I hope for a win, I guess that is normal since winning is part of gambling and if you win that is great since you hit two birds in one stone: one is that you win and you earned a lot of money and two because you are having fun while earning.

That is a normal reaction after a loss in gambling but you tend to forget it after sometime. If you are not addict gambler then you can leave gambling as if nothing happens but if you are a compulsive gambler, you will be back just after a day believe me.
That should not be a normal reaction in the first place. If you want to quit, it is better to quit once and for all, not just trying to make the same decision only after losses and still end up coming back again.
For someone like that, I would rather say there is a huge need for such a person to check himself as that seems to me more like an addiction already. Call it compulsive or addicted, they all fall in the same category of a big time addict. These kinds of decisions are made by those who are looking for what they cannot find from gambling.
It is possible that they cannot quiting gambling after a big loss because they still have money or capital to return to gambling, because I also like that, as much as possible and very much try to return to gambling with the remaining money and unfortunately it continues until I cannot control emotions well.
curiosity is indeed natural for everyone, even more so if you have experienced such a big defeat, they will stop gambling when the money they have is completely used up and not left. but after he has enough capital they will definitely return and try to return the initial capital that has been spent on gambling

It is a sign of being addicted in gambling. I honestly got the same experience of it before but not too much, as I remember it happened to me only two times, I had a weekly campaign that I joined before and after I got payed every week I spend it all on gambling after I lose all of it in that week, and bet again the other week with a thought that I will recover what I had lose, but ends up losing all of it
That's the magic that is on gambling, when you lose you want to come back again to at least to recover your losses, but instead
you add greater losses, and you want to stop but you will definitely return because you still think you can profit from gambling..

I though being a martyr only applies when you are in love but I'm surprise when it could be also applies in gambling. It is just like what you have said, we know that we are just repeating the situation(losing in gambling) but still we chose to try and try it again, hoping to get some profits, sadly it turns out to be the exact opposite thing---we lost over and over again, and we tried it again.

It is like a routine for us, that is why it is hard to ignore it for even a day or a couple of days because it is already became part of us, and that is a bad thing.

And then wonder, isn't their anything else you can try over and over again which can be more productive than gambling? Maybe I should rephrase that! There are so many things that can enable you build your future if you put so much attention into it and do it right.

Gambling is just a game of luck and nothing good most of the time comes out of it, and I wonder why people always end up expecting so much from it, because that is the only reason I would see someone losing every time, willing to quit at that point, and still find themselves back there again.

Quitting a game after loosing is the best way to avoid more lose of asset , As a gambler I do stop playing after loosing and came back after a day or two , not by regaining my lose on the other day but to get a profit or to win on that day. I make a schedule of playing gambling and the worth of asset that I will play for the day. On my move, I think I can avoid bankruptcy in playing gambling.

Maybe you can avoid bankruptcy but you are on your way there, even though you are not losing one time big time, still, a lost is a lost, the bottom line here is that you are still losing your money. Rather than having an interval on playing gambling, if the outcome is still the same and you know it, why not just completely get yourself out of the game, there is no point on playing if you are not making any profits at all.

If you are going to say it is just for fun, well you are indeed having fun but what about your money, there is no fun anymore if you don't have any fiat left on your wallet, it is all about getting practical.
The funny aspect to all these is that the outcome will always end up being the same and that is losing. This makes me to always say that anyone who can simply not get used to the aspect of losing from gambling should not even be gambling at all.
Gambling is a game of luck and the last time I checked, luck is one tough son to beckon to order as it would do as it pleases. So, anyone relying on luck entirely without sticking to their own principles if they at all want to gamble is busy looking for the worst case scenario from gambling eventually.

I would not call that a magic but just one place so many gamblers have decided to place them-selves. The mindset towards gambling is actually the driving factor for most gamblers to end up getting greedy and expecting so much from something that is totally luck based.

This is the reason why when reality sets in, they start getting emotional, hoping if they could just win back what they started with, they would stop and then they keep losing even more until they get addicted. That is the greedy nature at work.

Yes, it depends. I personally know a man who was addicted to gambling. He was betting on cricket matches and had some wins at first. Then he started to put more money. Eventually he lost everything and shifted to a rented house from his own house. But he never quit he started to pawn jewelries and take loans from others. At last he end up in a big debt and had to run away from his place.

I'm waiting for his answer though. Typical and newbie gamblers would think of it, they will feel regret of those losses and they will calculate if ever they never knew gambling there will be a big amount of money on their savings already.

Even it is a newbie or a pro gambling player, it would always come up to their mind that losing money is going to be a regret for them, because there is no sane person that would not feel anything about the money that he lost in gambling, all of us will feel the same about it. The reason why we are not quitting just like that is because we wanted to take another risk, and another one after the other one, and so on as much as we can, because we wanted to get back what we lost, that is all.

We can't accept the fact that we just lost, we lost a lot of money which is not on the plan before we play gambling(for newbies), but for pros, they are playing gambling repeteadly because it is a challenged for them, they know what they are doing, so mostly they are the profits maker.

As I've said typical gamblers so that counts it. Acceptance is one of the real cause why we can't quit though in the first place we have think about it because we regret but in the latter part it changes.

I am happy that you learnt your lesson. It is fine to lose money if you gained such a valuable thing. Gambling can never be a source of income and this is the reason why it cannot also help you or anyone in recovering the lost money. So the best is to not play this game but is fail to do so then better is to not at least try recovering what can’t be recovered.
You are right, usually people think that they get their money back and they gamble more after they lost but they lose more money in comparison with the beginning.

When you ask gamblers, they mostly have got this answer to reply. There is a greedy factor involved in this gambling thing. Once you lose money from game, you are tryingto get things back. But soon, you might understand it isn’t so easy to get this. Then you try more money to grasp big chances and opportunities but still everything just ends up being more indulged in this gambling.

That greedy factor can definitely not be ruled out from the gambler's nature and reaction towards gambling at any point in time. They just want to keep pushing their lucks further with great expectations of winning until they eventually find themselves losing more than they even bargained for based on their own greed.

Anyone who is thinking of quitting however is really not gambling for the reason of just having fun but to make a lot of money from it and that is a very terrible mindset for anyone to be having.
