Unfortunately this is what we have to endure as long as we have some erc20 tokens to transact, eth network has been a pain this days and I really can't wait to see a lasting solution from the team because if this continues to persist am afraid many people will suffer even more than we already are.

i have sent some erc20 token to binance. now almost 5 hours still going. am really fed up with this.... bsc is the best and trc20...  eth sucks
Everyone is facing the same problem and the depressing thing is that some tokens can only be moved on the ERC20 which means you either keep them which might mean loss of value on the token, either you send it with unwantedly high fees or just wait for days to confirm on the blockchain.

With the situation we are seeing now, we can wait for the moment when the most dedicated followers of ETH will abandon it in favor of the BSC. Indeed, the impossibility of working on the Ethereum network is already beginning to enrage.
I really pray new projects move to BSC or other chains like TRC because it will make space on the ERC20 and we can finally move our tokens and once I sell off my tokens which I hold on ethereum, I will never again buy tokens on this chain. I think with more tokens moving on either chain like BSC it might slow them down.

Unfortunately we are in a situation where ETH will not recover all by itself, people do have a "free market" situation where as long as you keep paying tons of money for transactions, you will keep increasing the price as well, and people are idiots who accept paying more than needed instead of waiting so the price keeps going higher and higher, or there are rich people who do not care about whats going on as well.

It means in the end we are living in a free world where people are free to spend 200$ on transactions if they want to, and that is not going to solve the problem, they are not going to just suddenly say "if we all stop for a while, the price will drop again" and this is why someone else has to take control of this. That is where eip 1559 comes into play and by this July it will be cheaper again and ETH will be just few dollars to move money around.

It happens when you do a transaction in eth network and also if you use low fees it will takes hours to confirm in your wallet. This problem of eth do exists even before that until didn't resolve. Others loves bsc network because of the small fees but when their is a massive users I think this could happen a congestion just like in eth network.

It should be expected that ETH is very much congested. But days have passed and I think OPs transaction has already been confirmed.

With the situation we are seeing now, we can wait for the moment when the most dedicated followers of ETH will abandon it in favor of the BSC. Indeed, the impossibility of working on the Ethereum network is already beginning to enrage.
Soon we might see that. But everyone is also waiting for the 2.0 that's why there's no abandonment yet of ETH.

Every network will be in the same way if the network becomes really congested so it is now happening in ETH, so users who wants to send ethereum and erc20 tokens need to set the gas fee as required to the current traffic on the network to avoid waiting for hours.

This is not good for eth if they will not implement asap the needed eip 1559 as many believe its the only solution for now to this huge transaction fees erc20 token transfer currently costs you 15-40 usd depending on how fast you want it only rich people can afford this fees small retails investors cannot take this kind of fees anymore just dont use eth for now.

i think you already used bsc and trc20 coins before because you rate them good  but why would you still insist yourself into something is buggy like eth, ah i know maybe this was your last coin and after this you are planning to migrate from other chains/platform but anyway how much fee did you put on your eth transaction earlier .

your fee might have been pretty small than what is the recomended fee now that is high and high fees suposed to process alot faster .  all you can do now is to wait

Better to pay it at a higher fee, then you will expect a less than 5-hour arrival.

I really think that this congestion will take longer to stop. We can expect an instant confirmation this time unlike before. So many traders, buyers, users appear this time, transactions boiled up high and the number of miners is not enough to cater to all of these things that is why we experience long delays and might possibly it takes more than 24 hrs.

I am really fed up with ETH as well, all jokes aside I want ETH to drop to under 500 bucks once again, even under 200 dollars, not because I hate ETH but because I want miners to realize that they can't take control of ETH like this and I want those miners to start losing money so they can leave people alone.

I want eip 1559 to happen, I want eth 2.0 to happen, it is enough already that miners have been screwing people over. Their defense is "well people are paying us, should we say no??" and YES , you should say no, that is not how "free market" works, if you do this in the end you are losing long term customers and places like BNB will pass you very soon, look at pancakeswap being more used than uniswap already, if in the future ETH becomes 1000 dollars while BNB becomes 3k, you will know that miners took the money for now and lost it in the future.

It made me trade only the coins that are on Binance. I had same experience like a month ago. There are some other blockchains that are going to be big hope a lot of coins can switch to them in near future.

IF you do like for your transactions to push or confirmed fast then pay up fees/gas even more. You would really be prioritized but if not then you would really be ending

up on that long waiting game until the entire network would subside and those low fee transactions would be processed. We cant even deny that Bitcoin does have the similar problem.

When it comes to transaction confirmation then nothing beats out with those known platforms like TRX,EOS etc.

It could be due to using less gas or gwei because my transaction to binance has gone through smoothly so i do not think we can blame anything else while transfering to a centralized exchange because i have no problems whatsoever so maybe you need to re-try with better gas prices.

That's why the massive exodus from ethereum to the BSC is still happening right now. I have been leaving ethereum ecosystem since a few months ago due to the non-sense fees and it looks like so many people were starting to be frustrated caused by the fees that will remain forever until the next EIP will be implemented.

When EIP1599 might be rejected by the miners and it could be a disaster, I hope that miners can understand it and they will be updating their client. We will see that what will be the result in the next months.
I hope that will make the small traders back again.

Ethereum is getting slower and it really doesn't have the strength to withstand these transaction tests. I am surprised when people accuse Binance Smart Chain of dishonestly enticing users and advise them to gain popularity in other ways.

And what remains to be done when conducting operations on the Ethereum network turns into a real torture. Did you notice that the news about the July Ethereum update came only after the massive transfers to BSC were recorded?  Tongue Perhaps the ETH developers realized that they were at risk of losing their reputation.  Cheesy

Not just ETH, my Bitcoin transactions are still pending for almost 12hrs now and I think the traffic is really huge right now since everyone is trying to exit the market as soon as possible. The whole market are very congested for the past 24hrs, this should normalize when panic selling was done already and I’d hope to receive my funds as soon as possible.
People are trying to get out of the market and they are simply making miners to get rich, anyways it's wise to swap your coins for USDT and when trying to make ethereum transaction right now make sure you send with high gas fee

@bison - it's pretty clear that ETH network is congested, and you have to pay a lot in order for your transaction to be cleared. Not good for average joe like us.
That's what makes a lot of traders and investors have a hard time when they want to send their ERC tokens to exchanges. an overly busy network keeps transaction costs up. when we determine the small gas or not in the running costs I think we will experience the same problem.

Expect it not to cleared in the next 24 hours, Lol, just kidding, 5 hours and the fee is already very high, similar to what bitcoin is experiencing right now. And that is the main reason why we will hear projects shifting now to BSC because of ETH's scalability issues. And unless is not being mitigated by ETH devs right now, they will lose a lot in this battle.

If the developers of the ethereum blockchain did not decide to update which was the problem from last year I don't think many projects may migrate to Binance Chain. that is very possible and Binance Chain also has a wide range of products with large market support as well as more transaction fee friendly ones.

That was a new norm in the Ethereum Network nowadays and this problem will not stop until Ethereum 2.0 development is not yet fully implemented the Ethereum Network Congestion resulted in very expensive gas fees that affecting us small-time Ethereum Network users nevermind those whales they can take care of themselves. IMO, the only temporary solution is to migrate in BSC or in the Tron Network in the meantime until this problem persists in Ethereum Network.
Yeah, luckily there are other coins that can perform much the same function that ETH does and TRX is just one of them.  NEO is another and there are probably a dozen that I'm unable to recall since I don't own any of them.  This is the first time I've heard of the ETH network being congested.  Usually it's bitcoin's network that gets bogged down to the point of unusability, not ETH.  I don't know what's going on, but it probably has something to do with all of the speculation that's been going on for the past couple of months.

Hopefully this will all rectify itself with time, and hopefully sooner rather than later.
