Why are you post in this old thread when safety limits I write about long time ago no more working on the same way?Now it is called send limits and faucet owners can set that limit whatever they want,at least for the FaucetHub.

You've written a bunch of nonsense which have nothing to do with today's faucets and all this in order to promote your referral link.Read forum rules and leave old threads where they belong.

Limits are acceptable if you are under an unexpected attack from bots, but when this happen all day long, all the time and not only to prevent bots, it's not nice... At least, the faucet could provide a message "This faucet exceeded it's safety limits" before we make a claim, so the faucet users don't need to waste their time claiming for nothing.

I understand it's hard to stop the bots, but there are some measures you can use against them, like using FaucetHub.io as micro payment system. Users must sign up their addresses there before claim on a faucet. If you spot a bot you just message FaucetHub.io support with the address the bot is using and he will stop. If he backs again later, do it again, it's an eternal fight, but it helps a bit.

I'm a faucet owner and ,,,man .,,,it really annoys me  when i see these anti faucet owner threads.

A faucet ...GIVES AWAY BITCOINS...in return for this wonderfully charitable gesture, we receive revenue by way of advertising and we are payed by the number of clicks we get on various ads and ...THE VOLUME OF TRAFFIC...which is the main source of rev....clicks are icing on the cake

Seriously , if i ran any of my  faucets deliberately to give 0 reward, just so i could collect advertising revenue.... that would work for about 2 hrs . Users don't like not getting what you say you will give them and they will vote with their feet every time.. Your traffic would fall to 0 in a matter of hours and your advertising revenue would disappear...It wouldn't be worth it.

I'd suggest as darklus has said, that  this guy has set a payout limit ...but further to that, is under attack by a BOT.... Now there's the real crime !!!
He's probably not paying attention ,or he doesn't know what to do ,  or his mom is sick and he's visiting her in hospital ...i dunno...but i can tell you his traffic will be almost nothing as his users get more and more annoyed with his faucet and bail....it happens really quickly believe me.

The sad truth is that the real issue should be about crooked users and all these Bloody BOTS.

We are plagued by BOTS !!!!!!

Users are constantly coming up with new ways to extract rewards faster than intended and take more than their fair share and most of the time we don't make a cent off these attacks...they just cost us. Consequently we are constantly forced to come up with new ways to defeat them ...adding more layers of inconvenience to legitimate users ...and the dance goes on!!!
 
Some Bots are brilliant...you could almost say beneficial ...others are not so great.

I often get hit with bots that get around my timers and anti bot measures by generating new  IP's and wallet addresses rapidly , but still load my page ...and ads.....so i see a massive increase in traffic and revenue ...good hey?

Wrong, then i have an ethical dilemma , because if i knowingly allow that bot to remain attached , Then i'm then ripping off my advertisers...not so good ! Advertisers aren't stupid either , if they cant see benefits gained by advertising with you , they leave too.
So you can see  BOTS VERY BAD !!!!

Look its not easy running a faucet these days . Bitcoin is really expensive ... advertising revenue does not increase with bitcoin value ...advertisers are more reluctant to go with faucet advertising anymore ...google adsense jumped ship ...We are doing it tough.

So having a small minority of ill-informed people whinning about how unethical our behavior is ....just laughable.I'll concede that there may be a few unethical operators , but i can assure you they wont be able to last long.

So give us a break guys !!!...ok ...or you wont have any faucets to steal from

Ya many faucet owner using same trick go get more impression and some of CTR to get good ROI with faucet. 

But I think personally that this not a right way to engage user. Rather user expect rewards from faucet but here I am seeing that faucet owner want earning via faucet from faucet user instead of paying them. Quite stumbling and strange.

I started this topic last year and since then, some things have changed regarding safety limits.Every day there is less and less faucets and therefore number of faucet using safety limits becoming smaller.

On some faucet we can see a message that warns us that safety limits is enabled so there is way to users know about that before claim is made.And for faucets who use safety limits best and only way to claim is on full or half hour.Some faucets pay 10 minutes,some 20 minutes and some only few seconds in period of 30 minutes.

For users of my list I sorted faucets with safety limits so they do not waste time,but as I have already written, there is a few faucets with safety limits worth to claim on them these days.

i don't know if the owner of this site is really not paying but as far as i know because i have experienced also creating my own faucet we really have to limit our payouts because of the bots site for example i will set the faucet limit to 10k satoshi per 30 mins so if it exceeds it will not pay until 30 minutes is over

One thing they could do is tell the user what their limit is, that way at least if we're paying attention, we know it's not a waste of our time.

As a faucet owner, that's not how it works. We don't profit from views, if you simply come to our site we don't make money. If you click on an ad on our site, we profit. So, if you want to support your favorite faucets to keep them alive and running to continue to give out satoshis, click an ad for them once a week or maybe even twice to show your support.

While some faucets may have bad intentions in using this feature, most are just trying to prevent bots from stealing their hard earned funds. It's true this message should be shown to the user before a claim, but unfortunately that is not how the default faucetbox script is coded so most of us can't do anything about that. Good luck with claiming from faucets OP!

Limiting the payment is not good idea because visitors will go away from faucet only bots will try to claim again and again. A user also feel that he get cheated by faucet owner so not a good feature.

@neobits, you have to login to your Faucetbox account and then click button "Manage". There you can set up limitations of payments.

I dont like put limits on my faucet but bot stolen my balance when i remove, many faucet owners dont have enouugh knowledge to make a faucet with other scripts.
i try put enough balance every 30 mintues to my users, but i cant remove exceeded limits

Only way to claim on that kind of faucets is to claim on full or half hour,but you must be quick to get reward.This is good for faucet owners for protection from bots and to make money giving nothing in some case 58 minutes every hour.For users who do not know how to claim from them, this is nightmare.

I am claiming on few high paying faucets which have safety limits. And I noticed that if you don't claim first 20-30 min, you have to wait for full hour and its really annoying. And i noticed some faucets have safety limits on almost all day, so when i see i can't claim 2-3 time from faucet, i never come back, no meter how high reward is.

It's been a while since I started this topic,and these days even more faucets use "safety limits".If we decide to stop using them at least 50% of all faucets would become useless.Many of them have high reward so we lose maybe 50% of faucet earnings.Therefore, I made a list in which these faucets are separated and labeled so that users know and do not waste time to claim on them when is not time for that.Solution is known for this problem,claim only on full or half hour when faucet refill balance.Although even then you may get nothing because some faucets pay less then 1 minute and then next 29 minute nothing.

No one is really sharing profit with users, they just throw a bone and keep all the meat for themselves.
i wonder if google facebook and all other advertising companies are complete idiots to pay these scammers.

we should stop visiting each faucet that shows that message cause if we don't then their number will increase

They may offer 1650 satoshi, but in 90% of visits you get 0 so it makes no sense to me.
