I remember back when I was writing sales copy I would visit this forum called "The Warrior Forum" which was a hub of internet marketing, and that forum had a nice feature called the "buy me a beer" feature. It showed up as a little beer mug in the signature of everyone's posts and if you click the the little beer mug icon it redirected to a paypal page for that use on which you could send that user a small amount of money, essentially tipping him/her for good content in the amount that could generally purchase a beer.

It was nice because when you logged onto the forum and there was a new beer sent to you, you would get a "ding ding ding" sound and get all excited and see the pm and send a thank you to the person who sent it to you.

Of course bitcoin highly improves on this concept because paypal is not involved taking a cut and limiting the transaction size etc. Bitcoin is built for this kind of thing, why is this forum not taking advantage of it?? I did some reading and it looks like it's fairly simply to add as a feature using scripts. Here is a link to a discussion about that feature on that forum:

a couple of people used to sell a couple of different "Buy Me a Beer" scripts that you could put on your server that did the job. I know WordPress has a plugin that serves this function too if that helps you any.
