That is really pathatic new that I ever heared, this really example how do we care our vollet.
This guy has lost 103 bitcoins he mined back in 2011 and then lost his wallet dat file similar to what I have done but wow this guy must be gutted the amount of money he has lost compared to me

Wow, this must be so hard for this guy to accept. Loosing 103 Bitcoins right now means loosing almost $700.000. Always make sure you have your wallet dat. files stored in a secure place with your priv keys.
That's a lot of money i know, that is why we have to be very careful with our coins.Now, that we have altcoins also, and the price is still cheap, we might not value this much like bitcoin but there is a chance it will grow in the future.
Just like bitcoin, it started with less than a dollar and now the price is really increasing.

That's unfortunate.However one must always store your backup files somewhere such as cloud,so it will be never stolen or it won't disappear.There are many people who have under gone the same circumstances.But being cautious and careful will save you from such unfortunate incidents.However I really wish that this person will ultimately can have his earned bitcoin back.

I will feel very disappointed if I am that guy who lost a lot of bitcoins. It is not easy to earn that big amount of bitcoins, you need a lot of skills and knowledge that you should use in order for you to retrieve that big amount of loss. It's a huge value. Maybe if it happened to me then I would be frustrated and lose hope on bitcoin. As he says that he has given up. Somehow it can happen and lose his wallet.dat, he's a disadvantaged person. If calculated 103 btc it's a lot of value and can be a new rich man.
Well as he said stupid moves from his part and that for me explains it all. I think that is the payback, you don't care much about bitcoin and do not take it too seriously back then in 2011, you don't get nothing and don't need to complain that you have lost your wallet now in 2018 that those 103 BTC are worth more than 1 mln dollar.
I am sorry for his loss but there is only one responsible here and is the person who lost his wallet.

Everyone had a bad day, losing in investment is not new in terms of business, we just to prevent this kind of mistake to become succesful at the end. Actually who is this guy ? Does he has a name ?
This is a great lose...people must keep their informations in more than a place to avoid those kinds of loses.

at that time bitcoin was not as expensive as it is today
but i'm sure he really regrets it now
over 1/2 a mill right now!
That was really sad to know, 103 BTC is a huge amount, yes but in 2012 when he got last transaction in his wallet it was some USD but its a big amount today, it was wise if he could have put dat file on web like in mail or cloud, he might have recovered it, now 103 BTC are lost forever.

There are plenty of stories similar to this one and it feels bad to read them:(. I haven't lost any bitcoins by now and I don't want to but you never know what can occur even if you are in full control of your funds or you have nano ledger, there is always a chance for things to turn bad like the story above.

That's a big money right now even though those were mined last 2010 or something. It's so good to own that kind of high of bitcoins but losing it is not so good or the opposite of having those too. Sadly, I really do hope that you might get it back.
That's too bad. Lossing the wallet.dat file itself will negate all chances of ever getting them coins back. Cause if he still has the wallet I heard there's already a way to get the password using third party service.

What ignorance has he done? Everyone must have made a mistake, but if you lose 103 bitcoins it is really hard to start collecting the bitcoin purse again. Don't happen to us, this is a picture and a warning to us.
