I don't even understand this issue of fuel anymore. I heard that fuel will come down to #400 recently. With this I expect most fuelling station should quickly sell out what they have in store before the new price begin. But instead most fueling station are just doing what they like. Some even increase the price while some fail to sell. I don't really know where we are going about petrol in this country.

Na only God wey go just come intervene for matter wey we get for our we country because right now, everything won just won increase, nothing won come down and this price of fuel, na government dem know wetin dem dey benefit wey be say dem dey increase am anytime and anyday or decrease am too, because for me I no see any reason why them dey increase the price of fuel, wen dey fully know how the economic be now and e dey hard to dey pay for transport and people no fit do without transport, I just pray say make God just help us mk they reduce the price so that people fit dey commit freely.

There have been rumors say, the price go drop later shah. At least, the least #10-20 reduction but, e never dey confirmed and as much as we no go see am as something, this small thing na em the dealers dey take make there money from the plenty liters them dey sell a day and e go benefit people way dey buy in large quantity. I know say we go like am to drop pass like that shah and e go play like that just say, na time e go take.

This one kwa con show say, if we fit fix our energy source, fix our refineries, maybe we fit see small better.

I personally think Nigerians will adjust to the price. E no fit hard to shock us. We don see enough of government policy wey dey choke, but we still survive and even live lavish join.

This just shows how there is an open opportunity to invest in power generation and distribution, and other sources of fuel that's more economic worthy. There are gas generators/plants that can run on gas and is more efficient and cost effective that PMS.
More entrepreneurs need to arise and invest in such devices and technical initiatives, and the use of electric cars should be something the FG should be working on to make possible and affordable to the citizens, so as to reduce over-reliance on crude products.

In the meantime too, alternative sources of income should be researched too like cryptocurrencies investment and opportunities, so as not to be at the mercy of rising bills and cost of living.

Fuel de increase day to day, nigerians getting used to the system already, if dem fit survive Buhari administration, weytin b Tinubu own wey dem no go fit endure. This government no de even reason the common man, everything just de go up for thr country. Na fuel own de pain me pass, how can one litre go de cost N650 naira. Ma small small, before we know na N700 naira e go hit, me sef no de fit on my Generator again, things just de hugh everyday, and one bad thing be say, this subsidy no de even affect these politicians, because dem get the money to buy even though na N100k fuel one time to stuck their house.

It's all beginning now, removing the subsidy will reveal some deeds and it may be hard now but we will all still enjoy it, the president is doing a good job.

This one thing we cannot be sure of by the dictate of the government is for them staying by their words, is the #500 not a complete removal on subsidy revenue or still under a partial subsidy removal, there's no peace anywhere if we are not ready to give one to ourselves in this we are all into altogether, this new proposed #700 is on what basis, how is this coming in again not quite long after the struggle for the adoption of #500 per litres.

Omo de thing don dey affect businesses already. Some persons wey dey do taxi and other hustle don forget about their taxi, dey channel their energy to their other businesses. Same with bolt too, some drivers don shot down because of de cost of petrol. Some people wey get cars no dey gree buy fuel put for their cars go work again, dem prefer to enter taxi because of de cost of fuel. Imagine if e come get to N700 - N800, how e go come be for de common man.

It is happening already, for instance some bet9ja and bet King shops in my area are closing down.
This is because the betting business doesn't increase money and the odds are standard. The light situation in the area is not good, they run gen 24hrs and then they have no option than to close up for the main time.
Maybe they are planning that if the petrol price comes down they will resume and now the information of increment is on the rise.

This is both our blessing and our curse.

N700/litre will soon become the normal price, and we will be heading to N1000/litre maybe before this administration is over.

I just dey pity all those businesses wey dey depend on petrol and diesel powered generators to run their business, because they will really be running at loss and those that cannot adjust will be forced to close up.

Omor this one strong, as I read about the new price increase today I no fit vex again because nothing we never see for we country naija. How fuel wey just fly enter N511 as Baba just enter office take they go N700 when workers minimum wage never even increase how they wam make we survive? I think say the essence of the subsidy removal na to better our country but as ecbe nah, na so so suffering I dey see I never see wetin our president wam do to better the economy of Naija so make we just ready because from N700 na 1k we go enter direct for one litre.

De N520 wey we dey buy fuel already, we kno as e be for our body but if dis projections are correct, e go triple the suffering. According de National Controller Operations, Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, Mike Osatuyi, him project say dem fit sell fuel at N700 for de northern part of de country, N600 for Lagos and N600+ for outside Lagos, dis one na after dem don consider other factors like de exchange rate, crude oil price for international market and landing cost. How una see dis projections? Abi this one na friendly reminder for us to brace ourselves for de worst to come?

No be lie my brother, the matter tire person no be small. When president Goodluck Jonathan been remove the subsidy, na same people enter street go say dem do do occupy Nigeria and even then we see paliatives wey him bring then in buses wey try to reduce transportation cost, even then fuel na #145 but wetin we see today na #550 / #600 yet no palliative anywhere. When dem even talk about sharing money, the thing dey funny and shameful, how? Like say dem fit let money reach everyone abi na dem go still carry am enter house like dem do for COVID-19. I go dey wonder say dem no fit use BVN send money enter people account. Nigeria na the more you look the less you see.

But the main issue be say this suspension of fuel subsidy no suppose affect this fuel price like this but na because no proper price control body wey dey the country to stop this nonsense wey we Nigerians dey do to ourself. Just imagine now say you buy something your goods  for 1k and then you come dey sell for 1.5k then suddenly dey come remove subsidy  and you come increase the price to 4k where as you never even go market buy anoda stock oo but you don already add price for the thing, now  E GOOD LIKE THAT?

First of all was their anything like subsidy, the answer for me is NO.
This subsidy of a thing is pure scam, the former leadership said that they were subsidizing premium motor spirit (PMS). But thats not true, this money always goes to some sychofants that loot this money and share it among themselves. But the scam is that, this people goes to the international market and buy this commodity at a normal price and in return charge the government very higher using transportation, high cost and high dollar rate as an excuse, They do all this with the help of the bad eggs in the system that convice the government that such scam called subsidy is real and they get paid at the end of the day for this unrealistic reasons, For them to get away freely they tag it a name called subsidy. That's why the NNPC limited chairman increased the price of the premium motor spirit (PMS) immediately after the inaugural speech of the president in other to cover up this scam called subsidy. The president ought to have arrested the NNPC limited chairman immediately after such chaotic pronouncement made by him and get him probed after probing if found wanting then he should be jailed for imporverishing Nigerians and financial crimes, It is only in Nigeria that a limited liability company has the power to make such pronouncement when the president said from 01/07/2023 Government will no longer accommodate such scam in Nigerian budget, But I believe with the look of things this government will do well, let's give them benefit of doubt and watch as event unfold as weeks run down the clock, I know it is really telling on us Nigerians but the needful has to be done, we cant continue to stand and watch some elements on disguise sharing our countries wealth when somany people are swimming in abject poverty it is unacceptable.

I no know why every action wey any leader take for Nigeria,na base on wetin go male them share money within themselves. Imagine the high rate of poverty for the country,our new president come enter finish. The first thing na to stop fuel subsidy in order for them to share subsidy money instead of them to focus on tackling the issue of the removal of the fuel subsidy. Na money them won share,forgetting say this action go inflate more hardship on the citizen and worry the country economy. Sometimes,I dey wonder whether all these leaders no suffer when them small and no decide to help people wey dey suffer for their agenda. Na only God fit help our country. Why e be say any new government wet enter na fuel subsidy he dey use worry the masses.

Dis your yarning about the fuel subsidy mata no correct at all because e no be like say the government just wake up one morning come increase fuel price, rather de provision for fuel subsidy wey dey for national budget all dis years dem don comot am. Dem say by this method no body go dey control de price of fuel, rather na market factors go determine wetin de price go be. Dem also talk say initially we go experience suffering which na wetin we dey see so like the increment in transport fare and de high cost of commodities, but on de long run dem say de price go drop and things go better.

Na better statement you just talk my brother man, because truly what I expected after the removal of this fuel subsidy matter na for Federal government to start to talk about reviving our old abandoned refineries back to start functioning again, so that we could no more keep buying fuel anymore. Because of what benefits will it be if the money is distributed,  of which I'm sure how the Covid-19 palliative ended up in the warehouses of top politicians, which I'm sure that's likewise how this money go be if shared. Because instead of sharing, they should use the money to create companies that will employ the youth.

On this one bro to be honest with you ehh POLICE OFFICER never harassed me for road before like na my 6 to 7 years i don apply road, i dont know if na grace tho but the the truth i dey talk, one thing ehh wey dey make police go this far to wan intimidate you one way to another na say the way you appear and the way you approach them when them dey check point. And as for the fuel side ehhh this one dey choke me, and NO idea when price go drop down, we all are still having our fingers cross.

To me e get inside fight wey dey happen among and between politicians that is affecting the citizens, politicians know what they are doing for their own respective benefits, the price of fuel will continue to dey increase until the poor can no longer breath, believe me. It's not new things to me again that the country is acting this way, It had been like this from when I was small, wetin vex me again na the price of pure water wey take style increase him own matter, imagine a bag of pure water jump from 250 naira to 400 naira, e no make sense at all, and all this price increase now na fuel dey cause am,

Another matter na police harassment, I've been harassed so many times cos I'm looking good as a young boy, where did I get the money to buy this big powerbank in your hand, look at the kind of phone you are using, which work wey you dey do, who be your papa, call am say we don arrest you, you be yahoo boy. You go tell us where you get the money from to buy all this things, play play 20k comot from my hand o,, these two issue of fuel increase and police harassment are one of the reasons people leave the country to settle another African side, it's annoying.
