Yeah it'd be good if somebody could poke the bull with an electric cattle prod or something to get him up & moving again, it's all gone a bit stale.

Yeah, I noticed that too, been a bit stable for some week now, though recently there is some increase.  It has been observed that Bitcoin price keep charging high in November and December just like last year.  I think it will happen this year too.  And bitcoin might reach 900 USD before 2016 ends.

The bitcoin price is quite stable recently. It is consolidating at the moment. It might rise to $900 in December.

Nobody is going to be complaining as long as the movement is in the forward direction.
Bull run or walk, as long as the price keeps increasing, people are going to be attracted towards bitcoin.

Nice song OP, I agree that some people start to hodle then, when they didn't know what bitcoin is, anv they still holding bitcoins and they don't even know why. Probably they are waiting some pension, or they are saving it for grandchildren. I like to gamble with my bitcoins, to cash out and use money that I earned.
Why to wait any longer, tomorrow maybe we will not be alive, no one can tell. I wish to live and have a life.
Now it's to early to say, but one day in far far future, someone will say that bitcoin was just bullnrun that never ends, for now we see how it's going and going.

I HODL my coins because I want to see them make me a good profit in years to come. Interest rates in fiat banks are useless so I might as well HODL coins with a portion of my savings & hope for the best.

It's not a crime to invest in bitcoin, HODL & hope for the best. We all want to make a better life for ourselves.

It can't be, because the current implementation can't handle mass adaption right now.

We can barely even handle the current traffic because of that stupid arbitrary 1 MB blocksize limit that serves no purpose other than to clog the network.

Once that problem is dealt with, we might see a real bull run.

I heard the SegWit will be released soon. So maybe in a year, the block size will be good enough for mass adoption.

With the new segwit implemtatoin and november ahead we may be in for a treat. Although I am not sure at what time they actually will decided to launch it.
The more times it takes, the better and less the impact will be.

I don't trust Core and segwit and you probable should not trust them either.

they're centralizing bitcoin and that's not a good thing at all.

and if they would have just increased the blocksize to 2MB for the time being while working on more long-term solutions we would be in a much better state right now.

but the truth is, Core does not WANT bitcoin to scale.

because they want to BLOCKtheSTREAM

Oh man you sound like a typical r/btc shill!
The head full of hate and conspiracy theories!
It looks like the overwhelming majority IS TRUSTING Core! And in few months we all will be smarter if we are on the right path.
Furthermore Core is not Blockstream!! Would be great if you could keep that in mind, at least for a while before starting the same bs again and again. Cheesy

Why Novemeber is so important? Will the SegWit be released at the time?
Maybe he is relaying in the old graph when the price of bitcoin is increase high and never experience by others.. november or december is one of the good month i just relying too in the last year graph..

In November and December last year, the price rose quite a lot. It might happen again this year.
The potential definitely does exist, however we have to see if the market wants to put on a repeat performance. Last year might have been a special scenario, considering we were sitting below $400 for most of the year. While I don't think you're 100% wrong, I'm still skeptical.

But I do notice all the blocks were not filled up also the unconfirmed transactions are comparatively less. So, still lot of growth of bitcoin will be possible with this block size itself. The need of increasing block size greater than 1 MB will be initiated based on unconfirmed transactions which still will be having enough fees.

Hopefully devs will not wait till those days, before any bottleneck occurs and we are going to see block size increases. As of now, block size is not a big hurdle for bitcoin to move towards mainstream of adoptions.

yes i am also hopeful that the price of bitcoin will continue rising and will never fell down so much again as we have expected in past, the reason is just simple, as more and more people are entering in the field of bitcoin and they are also investing their money here.

No matter how many people are adopting Bitcoin, we'll always see massive dumps from time to time. It's how this market is, and it won't change. Better take the best out of it by scooping up more coins in times when the price gets dumped down hard. Make from something that certain people don't see as being good, something positive where you can benefit from. Wink
