Exactly. Hodl'ing makes sense, sure. But for something like 100 years like the op is joking about, or even just a decade, it's impossible to know where bitcoin will end up. I don't think it's a good idea to hold until the end no matter what, especially if some altcoin comes out that improves on bitcoin. Blockchain technology will probably be here to stay, but bitcoin, everyone can be a little skeptical about. I think it'll be here for a while, but I just don't think it'll be a super long time.

Indeed crypto has shown its tendency to pump at some random time after hibernation. it's very hard to predict why / when it pumps so you have to have faith to just hodl!

I have more than three btc in a paper wallet, and i am not looking to sell them for a while... maybe for more than months or even years from now until i am satisfied with the price.

Hodl is always good idea if you can wait for next block halving well you will be surprise if what happen 2016 and 2017 can be happen again after block halving .. But this year we are just seeing worst price of bitcoin but its normal and we will see the burst price increase again.. i feel this coming march just like the price happen few years ago..
