Its not the only reason why bitcoin goes down rapidly this time.
The price nearly crash but i am not sure it will be really crash since the community still strong enough.
Holding is the only one reason which can make our asset value grow at least back to its beginning amount.

Im still gonna hold mine, this is some kind of another manipulation tactics, government used threats like they dont legalize cryptocurrency, or anything then this will result another FUD.

That is one of the main reason why cryptocurrencies value are now on their biggest dump and i really hope they will recover soon. There are also some reasons why the price of the cryptocurrencies are no on its dump. One of the results for this is that cryptocurrencies' investors withdrawn their investment because they are afraid of the outcome for this. Which results to the lower value and biggest dump on the bitcoin. I've just read that some chinese investors tend to sell their money because of chinese new year. And we are all aware that lots of investors are mostly chinese people.

Looking for gigs

I love seeing the reds right now (it's my favorite color), and I'm expecting that it will close to almost $8,000 by the end of tonight. However, we do have two sides. There's a part of me who is worried about the dip, but there's another part of me who is strong and decides to hold on no matter what.

I think we are seeing this as a healthy correction and it's a positive for me. I have no problem with the dip as long I am just diversifying my options to sustain myself like doing some freelance gigs, airdrops and bounties too.

For you guys not to panic, just stop looking at your Blockfolio or CoinMarketCap every minute, hour or so. Just take a break for now so that you have a refreshed mind instead of getting worried with the reds.

How do you know that it was the main reason tho? BTC is already on downtrend before that news spread. Besides that, It will be so absurd to sell now your BTC while you are in loss. You will never suffer a real loss unless you sold your BTC. BTC will regain again it's price within this year and will set new ATH. Price dump always happened during the first quarter of the year while ETH pump during this period. This happened yearly so this is just a normal occurrence on crypto, Price will be back to normal soon.

Exactly. Even when people put out big news supposedly from Japan or South Korea or China, it does not really affect the price, because the trends already happen based on the rumors. If the news further confirms rumors, then sure, the pressure continues but nothing makes the market crash or boom in terms of news. This is just normal for Bitcoin, and therefore normal for crypto.

Holders are looking at potential losses, like you said. And they are naive if they think markets keep going up without first going down.

Always think crypto run for almost 9 years or more so the news you read is normal here and if they see what the negative or they say negative in crypto i think better for them to leave and don't think that they will affect the positive that can crypto brings,i think if you don't have business here then leave or you don't earn here just leave that is easy no need for negative like them.
