Thanks Vlad2Vlad!

Unfortunately I'm the poor type, so I can't afford even a few ixcoins let alone much Bitcoin (maybe if a few people spend a little BTC on my links in my sig, especially coingen, the site isn't run the best but it really works!) I came into this about 1 yr to late. I was one of the first people in the US to own a GTX690 which will hash at ~350 MH/s. I wish I had known about Bitcoin when I first got my card because it would have been a fairly respectable amount of hashing power at the time.

I am sure that there are those who will try to stop Bitcoin, but like I said, they will ultimately fail. We just have to be willing to endure the dark ages when (if) they come and take action when needed.

I found out about Bitcoin after it shot up to $266 last April and I launched my own CrapCoin before I even knew what a blockchain was.

I knew the instant I heard about Bitcoin that it was gonna be the next huge thing.  And I chose ixCoin as Bitcoin 2.0 within 30 days.

If I'm right about ixCoin I will do really well, then maybe I can spend something on your links. God willing.

I think things will change more than anyone can imagine by then and both, Bitcoin and ixCoin will have a totally different perception than today.

Just do your best to buy just $50 of ixCoin.  I had to sell my truck to reach my goal.  I bought my first 1% with relative ease but after that I had to perform some radical financial maneuvers [in the dark].  Lol.

@JuenoMT,

Great post.

My ixCoin theory goes into one of the phases you pointed out.  If they can't control Bitcoin then why not create or hijack a different alt coin and then try to kill Bitcoin so they can have their cake and eat it too.

I totally agree with your entire post.  We think alike in many ways.

I hope you will have a chance to buy some ixCoin soon as I am certain it will surpass at least $3 in the coming few months.  That's a minimum of 150 fold from today's 2 pennies.

Thanks for your post!

Godspeed!

@vlad2vlad

I believe that you are very good at recognising patterns that most others miss, I also am good at this. It's our gift. One thing I have had to learn is that my reasoning may be flawless, but I don't (and can't) know all of the possible factors involved in any one instance so I cannot predict anything with 100% accuracy even if at times it may seem as though I had. The ego trap that I have learned to avoid is this; just because I was 70%, 80%, 90% or even 99.999-% correct, I must not forget that I was not 100% correct and that my accuracy will always vary. Not to mention that although either of us might be near 100% correct in the direction of travel, we cannot know what else may intersect the event within the same space/time and throw our prediction way off course. The other thing that I have learned is that things tend not to be quite as bad (or no way near as bad [or good]) as I thought they would be.

There are definitely forces at work that would like to thwart Bitcoin and they are powerful forces indeed. Yet, from my observation of human history and behavior, there is either a reaction or a response to perceived threats: 1. Reaction. Fight or flight - if we can't run we will fight, first; to discourage - Next, if that fails, to disable - Next, if that fails, to  control - Next, if that fails, to kill- Next, if that fails, submit (if possible)  2. Respond: Consciously adapt to a new reality - We will try to; dominate - manipulate - leverage - restrict - bargain or otherwise use to our advantage

There is nothing that any government can effectively do to stop Bitcoin, there are too many ways to get around restrictions and regulations. That is not to say that a government cannot disrupt or retard the spread, usage or development of Btcoin, but ultimately anything they try will fail (so long as there are enough willing participants to keep Bitcoin alive.) So for the first possible action (the Reaction), they will eventually have to submit. Submission does not preclude the second possible action (Respond.) Two of possible responses (dominate and restrict) are nearly as unlikely as any of the Reactions. Manipulation is the most likely average response but that will have limited scope. The most likely responses will be the three remaining items, namely leverage, bargaining and using as an advantage. Governments will mostly be restricted to manipulation and bargaining. Now, for the real and greatest threat to Bitcoins decentralised network, we must consider the Rockefellers and corporate and financial industries of the world. Any number of them have the financial wherewithal to make all the money ever spent on Bitcoin mining hardware look like someones cookie jar savings in comparison. If the largest bank in the world (or one of the wealthiest people) thought that Bitcoin was encroaching into their profit generating engine they could easily out spend all of use and manufacture their own mining hardware at 1/3 the cost and make it impossible for anyone other than equally wealthy institutions to ever mine again. Plus these industries would dominate in transaction fees as well.

But even this can be a failing strategy. We, as in the Bitcoin community, can simply refuse to use the same blockchain that those large institutions use. The trick would be to do a better advertising campaign than any government or industry and to not allow regulators to scare use into excepting terms that are either not in our best interest or give the regulators an unjust amount of control.

I do not see that having companies register their Bitcoin dealings with a government being any bigger of a problem than it already is. I do have tremendous trepidations over any such institution demanding that the average individual do so as well.

Most of the negative things that could happen can be avoided or corrected at some point, as long as the majority of us remain true to the faith.

If the dev team in btc keeps up and implements some of the finer aspects of the successful alts, it may survive.

What innovation has occurred in successful alts?  The Bitcoin devs don't have control over the network.  THAT IS THE WHOLE POINT.  There has been very little innovation in altcoins but some of the radical concepts like proof of stake are unlikely to EVER be implemented in Bitcoin.  Bitcoin is a consensus system.  It is more likely (and this very unlikely) you could see a fork to a "new coin" that uses the existing Bitcoin ledger in order to incorporate radical changes.

Still I think you give Vlad too much credit.  He has never claimed the successful alts will be successful.  He has actually claimed innovation, features, merchants, developer support is stupid.  His champion is IXC which is a complete clone of Bitcoin except the block subsidy drops to zero in a year.  Case in point in the very post above this one, he is advocating people buy $50 in IXC because the left for dead clone coin is going to jump 15,000% this year.  Due to innovation, features, superior development team, usability, community?  No of course not those are all stupid.  "The banks" are going to buy up IXC and then somehow kill Bitcoin (but not before they Bitcoin into the millions and the world government takes it over and chips everyone) or something insane like that.

This guy's use of words is no better than street kid who dropped out of school. And he expects people to believe this bs so he can dump lxcoin.

lol

He already wasted 65 BTC (and lost 80% of that) overpaying for IXC because actually does believe his own delusional nonsense.  He goes around telling everyone to get $50 worth of IXC like some sleazy car salesman.

You know, he does believe it. The scary thing is, I'm starting to wonder if he's onto something. That, or his madness is contagious.

Vlad is like the Oracle of Delphi. The fumes get to him a lot, but sometimes what he says has a certain crazy sense.  Bitcoin is the altavista of the crypto currency world. If the dev team in btc keeps up and implements some of the finer aspects of the successful alts, it may survive. Otherwise btc will be the lamb left out for the slaughter while the alts move into position to accomplish what it was not able. Not saying any  of the current alts are up to par on that, but some of the ideas that have come out of this sub-culture will be beneficial to btc in the long term.

As much as I would rather keep Vlad on ignore, he does add a certain level of village prophet that is useful.

toodles.

Sweet.  Take me off ignore and maybe my ignores button will stop being piss yellow.  Lol.

I'm glad you're starting to see some of this.  Do yourself a favor and buy just $50 of ixCoin.

When I got here I couldn't find one person who was buying ixCoin and now I've convinced a couple dozen who have or are buying it.  And that makes me happy.

These idiots think I'm trying to pump it to dump it even though I've posted pics to show I never sold anything when it tripled last month.

So do yourself a favor and buy something in ixCoin cause I'm very certain it will surpass $3 in the next few months.

And when it does remember how impossible this prediction was today, as ixCoin sits at 2 pennies, and especially given the impossible and precise timeframe I am citing - of within a few months.

Taking these 2 variables into account I would put the odds in the millions.  Be sure you guys Remember this cause most will act like this prediction was no big deal like I'm seeing some idiots now act like they always knew the ETF would happen but when I was saying it was a certainty months ago I was being called a crazy idiot.

Lots of geniuses come out after the fact but they're all quiet cowards beforehand.

Wow, the way you worded that was so sophisticated, scholarly and eloquent.

Bhahahahaaaaa.

Watch me not sell a single coin even as it goes up 50 fold, asshat.  Then you're gonna put your tail between your legs and not even admit what a cowardly idiot you are.

I will only sell a small portion once it gets to at least $3 and that should happen very soon.

I actually hope that's not true , Vlad you should have gone long Quark friend .

I hope you didnt put 65 BTC in ixc .

Quark?

Ahahahahaaa.

I had a ton of quark and 13 other coins and sold everything and put it all in IXC.

So yeah, I'm 65 BTC in but I'm not down 80%, I'm down about 25 Bitcoins now.

I wanna add one caveat to this theory:

Judging by China's actions and how deep they're into Bitcoin I don't think they're gonna let Bitcoin die so easily.

So although I still think Bitcoin will die [and ixCoin will take over] I'm now starting to see that Bitcoin's death will take some time.

So ixCoin should rise easily [above $3] "very soon", which to me means in a matter of a few months, and then there will be a battle between ixCoin and Bitcoin which "will take some time" and that battle will [eventually] be won by ixCoin.

So the only change I wanna make is that Bitcoin will NOT die in the next 30-60 days, that's just not possible with China in the picture but ixCoin will rise up during the short timeframe I felt Bitcoin's demise would come and ixCoin will eventually kill Bitcoin but it will take some time.

So we will have 2 major digital currencies battling it out on the global stage and those two will be Bitcoin (XBT) and ixCoin (XIC).  BTW, none of these currency symbols have been issued yet and nobody on the planet has yet to even utter a word about any currency being given the symbol of XIC.  This is all purely my personal conclusion.

ixCoin is today at roughly 2 USD pennies ($.02).   I'm calling for ixCoin to go at least past $3 in the next few months.  That's a minimum 150 fold or 15,000% return if I am correct.  It took Warren Buffet nearly 40 years to get 100 fold on his best stock, Coca Cola.

Any more exact than that and I'd be a prophet.  Lol.

That's more potential money than you'll ever make on Bitcoin so saddle up boys cause time is running out.

I'm seeing more and more articles about China getting very deep and serious about Bitcoin, and Russia as well.

If they think the US is planning to dump the dollar and go into Bitcoin (as i do) then they will try to beat them to the punch in order to become the world's next reserve currency and global super power.

It's common knowledge already that China has recast all their gold (into 1 kilo bars) and is preparing to launch a new gold backed global currency so why not Bitcoin?

If so, then the US will have to do a preemptive strike against Bitcoin, and leave China and Russia holding the empty Bitcoin bag which adds another angle to my, Bitcoin has to die, theory.

And this too has to happen soon as china looks ready to move.

The way i see it, any angle you take on this, Bitcoin has to die.

please see this numbers:

Gross national income 2010, Atlas method - in millions of USD

1      United States    14,600,828
2      China                 5,700,018
3      Japan                 5,369,116
4      Germany            3,537,180
5      France                2,749,821
...
18    Indonesia               599,148

65    Cuba                       62,204
...
125  Equatorial Guinea     10,182
...
133  Madagascar                8,820
...
146  Nicaragua                  6,282

World 62,364,113

and now we have a market-cap of btc: ~6,000 million USD
but its only the market-cap - you see how highly volatile it is

so now we have "Nicaragua" (1 btc = 500 USD)

when we have a price-spike with 10 x (1 btc = 5,000 USD) we have "Cuba"

when we have a price-spike with 100 x (1 btc = 50,000 USD) we have "Indonesia"

even when we have a price-spike with 1000 x (1 btc = 500,000 USD) we have "China"

to have the full "world" we would have a price-spike of 100,000 (1 btc = 10,000,000 USD)

so the btc-world is too tiny + little to be noticed by the big players - i resume: now
yeah, they are watching this - but there is no alarm by now - yet some medium player are watching and trading this to have some profit - why destroying the fine milk-cow Wink

I wrote about this a about a year ago, how BitCoin would hit $1,000 which it just did. I also wrote about how it would be killed down the line. The pipe dream of crypto currencies and freedom, will be destroyed and become on of the worst tools for total enslavement into a global one world currency.

If you think your friendly NSA spying government is going to let some 3rd world country folk who mined bitcoins on their cpus become millionaires your triple dumb. They will keep these currencies outside the current infrastructure, and they will create their own government crypto currencies. Also, if you have any form of intelligence, these things were written in the bible 2000 years ago.

Basically there will come a time that once a world crypto currency is implemented everything else will be outlawed and you will by force have to accept the new form of payment or be put to death.

"The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands(QR Tattooes anyone?) or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name."

The proper title shouldn't be why Bitcoin, it should be why "non government crypto currencies are going to get killed." It might not happen anytime soon, it might take years 10-20, but there will come an end when these decentralized currencies will come to seize. Bitcoin will get killed by other crypto currencies just offering better features, then later on all of them will get killed together.

I think the people always ultimately win, or at the very least gain control for at least some percentage of the time. Even if this did happen it's not the end of the world or cryptocurrencies.

Actually it is the end of the world as we know it. These things will happen, there will be a world dictator, then in the end god will come and judge, and evil will be banished, and a new world in ethical sense will exist. There won't be a need for currency anymore.

Probably not though.

I just have to ask, is JohnnyBigs yet another one of Vlad's sock puppet accounts?   He sounds alot like how he was wording IXC2XIC or whatever the name of his last sock puppet he came out of the closet with.

I don't have any sock puppets.

IXC2XIC is my Alias and I stated so from the first day I made it.  And I didn't make it to deceive people, I did it cause I thought it would be a cool alias to have if my XIC theory comes true.

if i were a big banker or a part of the financial government i would create a NEW totally premined coin with many, many billions of coins

And who's gonna buy your premined government coin?  That's the error right there.

You need mass adoption and until you reach critical mass (so you can force it on everyone) you need the masses to think it's just another regular crypto coin in order for them to bid it up like crazy, thinking they'll all get rich.

Or do you think the masses are gonna sell their good and mortgage their houses to pay $10,000 for a premined government coin so they and the elite can transfer 90% of their wealth?

But that's exactly what the masses will do if they think they're getting rich, cause hey, look how fast and how high Bitcoin went.

So the government is doing just as you're saying, if ixCoin is the next coin, you can bet they have all taken their positions and now they'll sit back quietly as the wealth transfer takes place: Voluntarily!

Thanks for the German funny.  lol.

Edit:  And you can make it centralized anytime, like they're trying to do with Bitcoin right now.  But it has to start off as decentralized for fast mass adoption.

You'd make a horrible dictator.

everyone will buy it, because i'm the European Central Bank

i'll print some billions of the EURO if needed and i stand behind this new coin - this is MY NEW digital currency - the worth comes out of my centralized sovereignty - it has worth like the euros i'm printing every day

i'm laughing at your decentralized idea - this is no good for the system - i have no control over this decentralized shit of some nerds - what shall i do with such a buggy coding, open source and the resulting program - you can play with it in the ixcoin-kindergarten

i'm really a brilliant and wise dictator  Grin

This is exactly whats going to happen.
