I dont understand why the matket will be evolves in 2 market because of SEC. And for SEC will issued many lawsuit againts many shit ico i belilieve it will happen. Because so many scam ico especially which starting in 2018. But for token which has done the KYC SEC has no chance againts it. They follows the rules. This is probably will happen for ico which not follow the SEC rules and took money from US residence.

You don’t understand because you can’t read between the lines! You are in the wrong game!

Yes, you heard me right!
This market will evolve into 2 markets!
In addition, many lawsuits will evolve regarding many coins!
The SEC is a ticking timebomb that will have a devestating impact on this industry in the short term!
Opinion but I have strong convictions that it will play out this way!
Don't be an idiot. That's not possible, theoretically. The SEC is going after scams and ponzis, if a coin is legit enough it will survive the lawsuit, and in no circumstances the market shall never turn into two. It seems like you have no knowledge of economics. Or how markets usually function. This is a monopolistic market, in its own unique way and not the old school monopolistic market.

actually, I don't know much about SEC regulated and I think if the regulations are helping cryptocurrency, then the cryptocurrency will grow more than now. I only hope that the market can be better than now because today, it is hard to earn the profit in the market. as long as we can trade in the market and it is safe, then we don't have to worry about anything.

The SEC has declared that cryptocurrencies are not securities, so you don't have to worry about it!

You are wrong and misinformed. ETH and BTC are not securities.

The regulation that will take place could minimize the scam in crypto currencies. There have been negative impacts in reputation of crypto due to the scam accusations of those who are on loss. I guess that is the main aim of regulation that will take place. It is possible that volatility will be decreased but, most investors with big bags of money could be attracted to invest in crypto which will make the price increase of most coins.

I think that regulation of SEC is a positive moment for the market. Otherwise, potential buyers will invest in this industry.

i honestly don't see anything devastating about SEC though.

sadly we have proven that we can not get rid of the scams in this market on our own. we created ICOs and made them big  on our own and couldn't handle them to prevent the scams. so we need someone else from outside like SEC and in other countries their law enforcements equivalent to SEC in US to come in and clean it up for us.

the lawsuits are good. the arrests that will happen will also be good. all the regulations and the restrictions that will be put on this market are going to be good because they will eliminate or at least reduce to nearly nothing all the ICO scams and shitcoins.

The SEC can only regulate in America, but not as in Europe or Asia. Therefore, this organization can not harm the entire ICO. You shouldn't pay attention to it. We need to think positively and with the prospect of the future.

The whole market is constantly under threatened. This is the adoption at the state level and the frequent  bear markets, and what do we face fraudulent actions. Yes, and virtually all new coins are primarily struggling with centralization to become the best and most importantly their its on this market.

I don't see the situation that serious and that clear. SEC compliance concerns US projects or project that intend to sell their tokens in US. There might evolve more groups of ICO's, not just SEC compliant vs. SEC non-compliant. There are ICO's that succeeded in raising money without even going for US investors.

what are you talking about???
recently are being born a lot of tokenized securities and regulated exchanges, all SEC complaint!!
so what do you mean exactly??

SEC compliant will mean if a coin is a security it can’t be purchased by retail investors.

may be my question is whether the SEC can make the crypto market better? is it more transparent? I fear they will be worse in the management of the market, what if they themselves manipulate and market monopoly?

SEC or check is an unconditional statement of account in the form of an account holder's account, which orders the bank to deduct from its account to pay the person named in the split market check

This is why decentralization will not exist in the long run because of this. Now all centralized cryptocurrencies are able to survive. While decentralized cryptocurrencies are in danger. Anyway, a lot of scam coins specially are from ICOs. I think it's a right thing to do to protect every investor from being scammed by them. Every ICO must be a compliant of SEC's regulations in able for them to operate freely and to market their products. Some people rely on darkweb exchanges which are way more risky tgan regulated exchanges. I think people will force to embrace new changes at this new regulations which SEC wants to happen.

Do you think it could happen that SEC will ban currencies like XMR or similar? I mean that could have a reasonable interested in forcing exchanges to do so.

I think in the long term it will prove to be good for the market, i hope SEC just registers more and more crypto projects, ideal scenario will be if it registers top 50 this year and 100 more next year, this will just create massive waves of legitimacy and other financial markets will also get attracted to crypto.
