i hope the moderators take action on the post.
Looks like the mod has already taken action, the thread was removed from the service board and archived here: https://ninjastic.space/topic/5406562

I agree that the creator of the topic seems to want to draw a lot of attention to his thread by using symbols or codes like that. So it's actually really annoying because it's overlapping, but it's good that it's been removed now. So, the OP can now lock this thread as the question was already resolved by the mod by deleting the topic. Next time just report a thread like that instead of making a thread like this because I'm sure the mod will take action if it's annoying. Besides, you should also change the title of this thread because the code or symbols you use are just as annoying.

I won't just report because this is also urgent for the forum's future if happen again.

So this is the first time thread like this right? it is unique. so maybe the moderator and senate council forum can make a conference to add rules about the forbidden symbols. because if haven't any rules about that, it is possible in the future to happen again with an extreme symbol than this.

Oh, that was actually very nice. @Sarah Azhari you are a very talented artist.  Cheesy

By the way, I also see a symbol stretched across two lines. Chrome browser, Windows 10
I hope that this will not give ideas to other ANN thread creators...

However it looks, this is a new symbol for me. What do we call it?

This bug happens in the SMF forum only I think, where only certain browsers on laptops, chrome, brave, and edge.
What else platform you have checked. I wold not call it a bug. It's more like an emoji to me.

This is the first time I seen this symbol. It seems that the issue depends on the device, OS and browser that the user is using. Surely this will be taken advantage by those thread creator that seeks for attention. I'm using Windows 10 and on Brave browser having the same problem with OP. I tried using Brave and Safari on IOS, I don't encounter any overlapping issues with it.

I checked on several browsers, and nothing like what you write happens. Most likely, you have a problem.
I have checked on two browsers (google chrome & Microsoft edge) and I too have the same problem. It's too much annoying. When I opened this thread, I was not able to look at any other words than all these symbols. I kinda felt like wtf is going on here lol.

Next time just report a thread like that instead of making a thread like this because I'm sure the mod will take action if it's annoying.
I would never know the exist of this symbol unbless OP created this thread  Cheesy

The thread mentioned in the OP doesn't actually belongs to the service section in my opinion and it looks like an obvious scam so trying my luck here for deleting the thread with report to moderator button and let's see what happens.

And about the symbol yes its actually annoying as hell, but moderator has nothing to do with the title and symbol so it has to come from admin and probably in the next few hours the thread will be trashed and for others don't feed the trolls and scams.

EDIT: The thread is already deleted by mod now.

No problem here (Crhome mobile version) but might be a bit messy on PC especially if using chrome. The ignore user option can help you hide such thread and OP, otherwise please report the thread to a moderator and give a little reason why it should be addressed but I doubt the right course of action for the thread.

i think it was today is April fools after look that.
Well that reminds me of a virus infection some time ago on the forum during April Fools' Day. But now I don't think it has anything to do with it, it's just a unique code.

I initially opened this thread via a browser on my mobile device, but nothing strange happened. but when I see it again on PC chrome web, it does look annoying. as the OP described.
this looks similar to the case of some code signatures which look messy when viewed from a mobile browser. but it looks neat when viewed from a PC browser.

It's kind of annoying as well. It shows like that to me too.

I'm using Windows 11 though, are you using it too? And I'm using Brave.
I am using windows 10 and browsing with Chrome, and it looks just the same way.
Indeed, that signs looks very annoying as it even extended over to the post heading the is above it.

But i agree with what the other user said, the author of this is just using it as an attention grabber which to me, is absolutely a wrong choice, there are other better ways and symbols one can use as an attention grabber rather than this annoying signs, i hope the moderators take action on the post.

It looks okay in my browser, without overlapping other lines.
That being said, I don't think the topic belongs on the Services board. "Join Telegram" is just spam. Reported.

{()} (.) 0U0 is it annoying? I don't see why anyone consider it is annoying.
Looks like a gonorrhea-infected vagina, whaddya want?  Everyone's got their own taste, and I looked at that thread and didn't see anything that evoked strong feelings in me one way or another.  Besides, it's a thread that's probably going to die a quick death unless the OP keeps bumping it.
Joking only.

I implied that it depends on each user view. If we simply view it as it is, nothing is bad and annoying. It is only random thing. Combine of random things can not make annoying things.

{($()&~ is random combination and not annoying but why {()} or 0U0 is annoying. I don't be creative with this combination. I saw it on forum and I did not feel bad. Icon or word, it is not annoying if we don't use it with bad intention.

How is it annoying? And how it connects to forum April fools day?
Man, I'm totally at a loss to explain why OP feels the way he does about that symbol.  Maybe it's a personal psychological thing.

Can anyone else confirm they see this using Microsoft Edge?  I'd hate to think that I also have a problem.
Same with me.

I have tried switching the hardware acceleration mode on and off and changing the font style in the appearance settings of the MS Edge browser, but to no avail; the issue still exists. I'm just unsure if this issue is related to their previous problems with distorted text and images, where rendering issues are a thing[1], which I certainly do not.

These are just symbols. If the moderator will be distracted by the complaint of each participant from the fact that they are not satisfied with the symbols, and at the same time they are different, I do not think that this will be useful.
As an example, write to the creator of the branch and explain that this is very annoying for you, and ask to change the symbol. Smiley

I looked at a few browsers and was able to see it when using Microsoft Edge.  It is pretty annoying on that browser, I will admit.  I've never seen anything like this before on the forum, but I'm typically using Safari or Firefox.  I don't think the OP has a problem (other than using Microsoft Edge for a browser) and it seems like this is normal.  Can anyone else confirm they see this using Microsoft Edge?  I'd hate to think that I also have a problem.

I used chrome with 1366×768 resolution.
If any post after that thread, it will definitely cover the title thread above.
Imo, it's depends on the browser you are using, I can say it will be displayed without being annoying if you are using TOR. I'd also say it's annoying if I use crhome, but maybe not if I use mozilla or TOR browsers.
