I think op did not really make the point clear by not giving us clues about the 1%.
Imo, what I think is always difficult for the 99 is trying a failed process again and again even in the face of uncertainty the 1% keep improving their knowledge to make a difference. As it is our nature to stop whatever is not working or yielding results.
The 99 starts with very perfect vision but quits too early to start another one which they will still quit latter and continue this process hoping for luck to happen to them without taking responsibility and time to learn and improve themselves.
This happens to be the first thing that came to my mind about the 1%.

Sometimes, success can't be found from other people's perspectives, but from your own that makes you unique from them. I think what you say here is quite interesting. This is actually quite a general theory but in practice it is not easy to do. it's about how we see opportunities from a different perspective than most people. It's just that the choice of a smaller percentage actually contains a greater risk or at least requires more hard work. Because to become a 1% person certainly requires various kinds of supporting things to make it happen. Such as insight or expertise and also relationships as the most important tools in gathering information. I am a person who likes building relationships the most and I have also benefited a lot from all of it. Because the more relationships we build, the more opportunities we can see and choose and then take. But as I said before, this is actually not easy to put into practice.

I think this pursue still consists in a continuous trial and error process along the life.
