Today it was announced that SynchroLife's management company GINKAN, Inc. was chosen as one of the startups to be awarded the "Japan Financial Innovation Award 2020" (JFIA 2020)!

The award is run by FINOLAB and FINOVATORS, and will be awarded later this month on March 23rd at the "Future Frontier Fes by FINOLAB" event. GINKAN was one of five startups chosen for the award. We'll be sure to share more news about this in English soon!

GINKAN Inc., the managing company of SynchroLife, announced today February 26, 2020 that we have raised funding through a third-party allocation of shares and formed a capital and business partnership with the major Japanese digital gift company giftee inc.

Through this capital and business alliance, SynchroLife and giftee are furthering food-related token economies in the restaurant industry, through eGift marketing and value exchange utilizing blockchain technology.

SynchroLife began this by implementing giftee’s corporate service “giftee for Business” into the SynchroLife mobile app on February 15, 2020. SynchroLife users can now use the SynchroCoin they earn when dining out at participating restaurants or posting quality restaurant reviews to purchase eGift tickets for convenience stores, restaurants, and more in Japan!

SynchroLife won the Nagoya Grampus x Startup Pitch!

GINKAN Inc., the managing company of SynchroLife, won the “2019 Nagoya Grampus x Startup Pitch” contest held by the Chubu New Business Conference and the Nagoya Chamber of Commerce & Industry this December 2019!

Nine startups participated in the competition, pitching various business ideas to the president of Nagoya Grampus-- one of Japan's professional soccer teams in the J League. SynchroLife won with a unique proposal for Grampus team fan restaurants where fans can earn SynchroCoin cashback as well as get special bonuses or higher cashback when the Grampus team wins! This gives back to the local community, helps Grampus engage their fans, allows fans to get rewards, and is fun and beneficial to all participants!

Our founder and CEO grew up nearby the Grampus team practices grounds and has been a fan since he was a child, so this was an emotional victory for us! We hope we can work with local sports teams and local restaurants to create a beneficial token economy and help fans have fun.
