i will like to say that the biggest threat is the bitcoin is facing is the legalization and acceptation of bitcoin by the bitcoin. the second threat is the ups and down of the rate of bitcoin. if the rate of the bitcoin is not getting stable then it will really affect the position of the bitcoin. i think another threat of the bitcoin is the the online network system. the security of system of the wallet is also a threat to the bitcoin. i think if these issues solve then no one can stop bitcoin from becoming a world number one crypto currency.

Too many threats, albeit with varying levels of realness.
I am not a technical person so I will not go in to the technical threats. But what I feel is that the increasing number of altcoins are the major threat to bitcoin nowadays.
We have around 670 odd altcoins in the market right now and only a few have got popularity like DASH, MONERO, LITECOIN, ETH, DOGE and few others.
These altcoins are taking away investments from bitcoin which is slowing down the growth of bitcoin. If there were only a few altcoins present in the market , the investment in bitcoin would have been higher.

My main concern is bitcoin keep getting negative trust from the user, bitcoin was used for bad things such as scamming other people or purchase weapons by terrorist and then people will start to abandon bitcoin and bitcoin will stop existing, if that happened it will be the end of bitcoin
because of the nature of bitcoin this will always be an issue but i don't think it is such a big deal. and when more real services for example like steam (which already added bitcoin) or Amazon add bitcoin this issue will be resolved easily over time.
A serious threat is privatization and regulation. It is a coin for the people but in the wrong hands it will be lost.

the threat i think is if the community will stop using bitcoins,and then once it happen it will goes down until the value price

A hostile stance from the public or the government, particularly the government, such as an outright ban or very heavy regulation. Would put the brakes down to the floor immediately. When state actors get involved, things move very quickly.

The biggest threat to Bitcoin is the self appointed "Leaders" having private round table meetings
I don't see any external threats which can come as close that will affect the nature of bitcoin.My serious concerns are about the network failure or the miners running like a centralized organisation.A hike in price can cause fatal issues like congestion of the network and exchanges suddenly showing MtGox characteristics maybe a add on.But that is not the primary issue.
The only threat to trust is the original Bitcoiner's leaving.

i dont think goverment is a problem because they cant do nothing about bitcoin... goverment might try but will never succeed.
Right know the only that im afraid of is the snow ball effect that halving could bring. It's unlikely to happen, but if the price goes down farmers might change currency and if that happens, in a snow ball effect, the network could almost stop. no transactions...

The biggest threat to bitcoins is the government. Right now there are no laws making the use of bitcoins legal. If thats the case there is a possibility that it will be declared as illegal. if that will happen bitcoin price will go down or possibly will no longer be used.

i dont think that there is such a bit threat to bitcoin. the only thing is the government should legalise it. if the countries legalize it then all the problems will be solved.
Nowadays I do not see any thread to bitcoin or its technology as bitcoin success is at its speed and because of halving more peopel came to know about bitcoin and they adopted it so now it gain more strength.
Some people were trying to harm it with their rumors that after halving the price will reduce and some people are of the view that a bulk sale will start and the price will down, it was a great thread for it but after that people understood that they are just the rumors against bitcoin by the supporters of other coins, and now everyone believe on it and bitcoin is safe.

Security breach is the most common threat on technology, few people breaks systems just to test there skills or for professional work just to bring down someone's business. In bitcoin security of million transaction is at stake when somebody found out how they can hack big transaction on chain. It can disappear on a blink of an eye if some crack it.
not some thing special. but may be the spam and the online security will be the biggest threats to bitcoin. the other thing is te legalization problem is also a big threat to bitcoin. if this problem become solved i think every thing will be okey then, then their will remain no threat to bitcoin.
If some government or a group of companies can manage to grab hold of the majority of the nodes and then gain consensus on a competing Bip that was suggested. Examples XT or Classic or some other harmful suggestion that could make changes to the Core principles of Bitcoin. ^hmmmmm^
