But since cryptocurrency in general is extremely risky (not that is would fail, but that it fluctuates wildly), it may not be suitable for conservative investors. To me, the biggest two reasons to invest in bitcoin and use bitcoin, is you can do it over the internet to anyone anywhere for a reletively low fee
You can also count on the blockchain ledger to be accurate for the amounts sent/receieved as being correct and not able to be changed/edited/reversed. Good for people who want to buy /sell things online, where ebay can screw you over because someone lies and complains, you cannot do that with BTC
By just surfing on web or youtube you can be lure to invest in bitcoin because basically when you analyze the bitcoin the only way of the bitcoin is to go up because the bitcoin supply is only limited not like fiat the supply is varies into different aspect for example is the population and demand of the people. So I can say that the bitcoin is very reasonable to invest with because of it's uniqueness as a digital currency with limited supply.

At present, only some millions people hold bitcoin or invested in it. That accounts for less than 1% of total world's population(7 billion+). This shows, about 99% either don't have any idea of Bitcoin's existence or are skeptical about it because of incomplete understanding. This year have seen a huge surge in demand which will keep on continuing in coming years as well. Only some million people have already took the price to $4k. Imagine what will happen if even 5% of the remaining population joins the tribe?
The three reasons I invest in Bitcoin are many who accept bitcoin as an online payment in online shopping, it's easy to trade in bitcoin and the last one in bitcoin is very promising because the price is stable and keeps rising
I just hope this is the way the known or popular online sites are doing. Most of the sites that allows people to pay bitcoin is not that known the reason they are requesting they're used site top accept bitcoin. I think the great reason that someone need to invest on bitcoin is because of it's volatility and the possibility of it being popular and widely used by many more people.

Agreed with you, but i think there are many reasons to invest into the bitcoins. But the reasons mentioned by you are the most important to have trust and belief in the bitcoins. People have started accepting the idea of digital money and the popularity of the bitcoins will be increasing in future also.
Yes, these are very good reasons that I tend to use when I speak about bitcoin to others. Other reasons is that it is secure (you cannot fake Bitcoin, and even cash can be fake). People also tend to say "I do not trust some bits in a computer, I trust in cold hard cash" not realizing cash is based only in the trust people put on it. Just as Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is compared to gold not because its value is not controlled by governments, but because it's supply is limited as that of gold, scarcity, store of value. Obviously, limited supply, higher demand, value will naturally increase.
Like Gold, Bitcoin is a safe haven asset. Value increases during political or economical uncertainty/crisis, but unlike gold, Bitcoin is not correlated to other assets. It's a new asset class and that makes it a good investment.
Bitcoin is #1 in every important aspect. It is sort of obvious that no matter how high the price is, it is and always will be a great investment. And yet it's just too hard to overcome thoughts that btc was worth a couple of dollars and then when it was worth hundreds, the price already seemed to high to consider in as an investment. My father lives in a poor country and has a $300 salary per month (which is an average salary here). He doesn't invest into altcoins. He earns some btc and spends it but he has 1 btc he just stores for better times. Once it was just $800 but it's already $4k. I realize it's a promising coin and the price might even go up and up again but it's just too hard for me to consider investing it such an expensive coin when there are so many cheap and improved ones.
I don't know about the improved ones, but do know about the cheap ones. A whole Bitcoin is expensive and will become more expensive in future, but you necessarily don't have to buy a whole Bitcoin, it is divisible, invest on fractions of Bitcoin, 0.001, 0.01, 0.1.
