So much lols to read this but I guess you and many others are the perfect example of how crypto actually works outside of Bitcoin and a few major altcoins. If crypto really is just about going viral, then well, I guess there's no point in awareness and education for actual use case, actual value, etc. Go tiktok, my friends.

in my opinion tiktok is an effective media for introducing crypto to young people, because most of these applications are used by young people today.

TikTok is a small app for making Video's but it is not tool for promoting cryptocurrency, you are right, as of now, Twitter and telegram are the best choice for promoting the cryptocurrency. Doge coin created some Hype through the Tiktok but it is not the tool to increase the coin price.

In fact, the ticktok video related to the viral Doge can move a lot of people to invest, so it makes a Doge pump. That is, TikTok "can" be an alternative media for the promotion of cryptocurrency. In today's life, social media is one of the needs to show existence, many use it for a specific purpose, as long as we use it wisely, there must be a good opportunity there.
In my area, TikTok was initially considered negative because it produced a lot of useless content, but over time there were many changes and the direction became more positive. Do not rule out the possibility, this new trend will be increasingly popular, soon there will definitely be a bounty campaign using Tiktok Cheesy maybe.

It would be interesting if Tiktok will actaully release a token of thier own. That would make it more relevant in crypto platform for promotion. Its not going ot be the first as far as I know reddit seem to have plans to release thier own token too.

Twitter, Facebook, TikTok,... every one of them is a social media platform. If we see an influencer with a lot of followers mention about a crypto and cause a sensation on Twitter then it is the same for TikTok. Better, TikTok's demographic is more easily to be influenced when it comes to crypto since they are young, lack of knowledge,... So yes, TikTok is a great social media to shill your fav crypto.

Just about anywhere we can shill our fav token. There had been threads everywhere in the forum just for shilling but this will gives you the idea which token gets good support from the community.

Looks like TikTok is not the right social media to promote cryptocurrency and maybe the Doge coin trend in TikTok is only temporary. That was done just for fun and to follow the existing trends, Twitter and telegram are still a suitable place for that.

tiktok just happens to be an object to pump / dump by some parties, so slowly the price will return to normal.
unless we see that each coin will expand and its value will not decrease every time after the increase occurs.

its indeed temporary and see in CMC its already dumping so hard I doubt it's gonna retain the normal price again anytime soon or is it the current price that's considered normal? . at first most of us already know that its just a joke and not gonna pump doge forever thats why people shouldnt exaggerate tiktok just because a challange.

There are alot of factors responsible for the TikTok thing, alot of people have their free money from government now and are looking for way to profit from Crypto so what better way to do it then TikTok, I think this is just the beginning we are going to see more of these, because new set of   users are entering the space
It is very interesting to see how such massive social networks begin to talk about cryptocurrency. This is a very positive sign for the entire industry but not just for Dogecoin.

I am not on TikTok, but many young people around me, and some of my friends are there all the time. It's becoming very popular. It's a social media platform and there you promote yourself and things you like. It has nothing with cryptocurrencies directly, but it's how crypto became popular, between people who shared it across the internet. I think this is a positive thing for all of us, cryptocurrencies should be everywhere, and that will happen!

Tiktok is just a social media for people and just like twitter or facebook or youtube, tiktok became another social media where you can share your thoughts and if you want to share stuff about crypto that means you can do that as well.

Obviously it isn't as big as the other ones just yet and considering it is more about youth these days that means they are not going to make it as legit as the other social media, like twitter is actually quite mature compared to tiktok and there is a lot of political stuff going on there as well, but that doesn't mean that we should ignore tiktok at all. Look at what they did to doge for example, that was just one example and I do not think they will do it constantly but at least we saw how powerful some kids joking around could become.

Hi, have you seen the recent hype around Dogecoin? It was caused probably by ongoing challenges on TikTok. When you think about it, it is really a great way how to make cryptocurrencies viral among young people.

You can read more about this trend here: https://fortune.com/2020/07/09/tiktok-dogecoin-challenge/
I would just suggest to newbies to not get impressed with such lame marketing strategies and do not get trapped chasing these little pumps as a result of these gimmicks. When i was new i used to follow such things and always got loss or atleast got trapped for quite a while so always look for solid investment opportunities and the projects with real business and success.

We suggest members in here, but how about the other users out there? It is hard to warn them about that, and I think we can only spread the news on the different social media. Or maybe there are one or more TikTok users who know about cryptocurrency and have knowledge about crypto, so he can explain how to invest in cryptocurrency with the right. With that way, I think the other TikTok users will not trust the fake news that is trying to trick them, and that can be a way for cryptocurrency to be popular among the other TikTok users.

There are a lot of bad rumors about TikTok, some big companies have stated that TikTok is unsafe and it can steal users' information. But I agree that Tiktok will be a great place to promote crypto because they have so many users

The rate at which tiktok is going viral is quite alarming. Many users, most especially in the crypto pace are drifting towards it despite the challenges faced. Although, I am yet to explore it, but I a believing that very soon, it will become what almost everyone cannot do without, just like it's happening to Youtube today.

TikTok is just a video social network for short videos like vine but the best thing is they have this accurate AI integration that shapes your feed according to the content you like to spend your time on. They are quite popular among youths. And just like any other social media, they have privacy concerns and are targeted a bit more as it's parent company is from China.

Does Accurate AI integration mean like the next video you watch just right now will be related to the next video that's coming to flash on your screen?  Somehow it sound like its a good platform to make promotion.

There is nothing wrong if its parent company is from China as long as if can be used to market fellow users who are also interested to what is promoted. Facebook has privacy issue too. It would only matter to someone's personal choice.

How does it happen?
Maybe some people announce fake news regarding on the project or the doge we are all know that this coin leave by the developer..
Well for now social media is the most powerful weapon to promote anything that they wanted even of it is legit or just a fake news.
