I think YouTube is working with Google, will this make Google also return vanish crypto?
actually I only see that information here, but I hope YouTube only removes videos that have the potential to be a scam. however, people sometimes create content to invest in crypto, or an ICO, even if the project is a scam.

Terrible, every youtube show containing crypto content disappears or is deleted. is that a good sign, or vice versa ... I'm worried about that, hopefully this doesn't affect the value of bitcoin in the eyes of the public, because true bitcoin is not just to be watched, but sought and hunted .. !!
You don't need to worry so much, today I saw a number of videos and some related channels on cryptocurrency have been restored. And I assure you that youtube does not ban cryptocurrency, this may be just a few misunderstandings from youtube and so far this problem has been solved, everything has returned to its original state.

YouTube is loosing quickly !!!

Have you seen what goes on with the Crypto Youtube channels?
They getting blocked and deleted by YouTube in masses....

THIS IS THE MOMENT FOR AMP SYNEREO HYPERSPACE  !!!

....we should take that chance to decentralize that space for us!
So are you saying that all users on YouTube are crypto lovers? If crypto channels are wipe off YouTube they aren't going to vanish, there are other things that are big on YouTube like gamers

You don't have to use Youtube for that, there is twitch and several others. Google can only hurt itself by going too draconian. Still, its their service, they can do with it whatever they want. If you give your content to them, you have to accept the consequences.

Not sure if p2p streaming will ever take off, many attempts have been made but they don't seem to catch on. People are too complacent to centralized services. They are even willing to fork money for them.

Oh and if your life depends on youtube, did it ever occurred to you that youtube might disappear tomorrow? Same with other centralized service. I remember warning people that Microsoft instant messenger would someday disappear, they didn't believe me, and now its long gone, all msn contacts lost, only a puny amount went into skype (which sucks even more).
Similar to what it is happening with fiat currencies in which governments are the ones that are bringing the most damage to their currency and their economies, the one that can damage YouTube the most is Google by becoming too restrictive about what you can upload to their servers, and just like what it is happening with bitcoin our best bet is that a decentralized YouTube eventually becomes popular and Google and YouTube will have to begin to worry about being replaced by this new platform.

Seriously?
Are you informed that YouTube is owned by Google?

Google has the ability to create its own cryptocurrency and managed to hype it up with the use of its popularity. They are a huge company, no one can ever beat it. If you're saying this because there are platforms that give a lot of benefits to their users, you're wrong. YouTube monetization also had a lot of unique features and I bet that YouTube's payment is better than those.

There are many users of YouTube and millions of people are getting paid through Google Adsense. I wonder how YouTube will vanish in this era where most of the people are browsing and watching videos now on the internet than watching television. Please think it up again, don't be fooled on some project/platform that gives crypto to their users, it's just the same thing with YouTube but not in crypto.

Anytime and anywhere, Google can dominate them all when they launch official ICO but I think they will not do that for now.

Youtube is a powerful video viewing platform and youtube is owned by google and this is an almost unbeatable combination. I think youtube deleting channels talking about cryptocurrencies is due to government regulations and concerns about scams spreading through those channels. But that doesn't have a big impact on the cryptocurrency market, we would still work well without youtube.

Oh my dear, YT has become too big, I missed the time when I can login with my random email and all the video contents were 240p, also spending my time watched all the old school Mickey Mouse shows, will it vanish? I don’t think so, but I know all the old content uploaded were all gone, and they never comeback, lol.
yeah, lol, can't believe it

AA did not talk about scams either, so maybe it allowed him to fly under the radar.

He did not talk about stupid TA like the ones from the examples you've given which rank 100 points in clickbait.

He appealed and got it back, so that's a positive for now, but got hit with strikes from what I've read.

So, no problem?
As for ICO scams, there would be no point talking about them and exposing them if YT and the rest completely ban them and deny exposure, right?

Yeah, I'm heavily biased, I dislike altcoins and I dislike also so-called price analysts which are often more wrong than right but...still make money out of ads on youtube from the same morons that lost money following their advice. But, that's my opinion and it will take more than a few crying "influencers' to change it.

Yes! Just like I'm applauding mods here for trashing topics after I report them.

AA did not talk about scams either, so maybe it allowed him to fly under the radar.

This guy is an example of collateral damage https://twitter.com/martiniguyyt I watched some of his videos and they were, unfortunately for him, full of crypto scams, because he was exposing them and also other youtubers who were paid to promote them.
Another example of the cleansing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tK51GCxWP4M
Alessio is a trader who doesn't promote any scams, just does TA and adds a bit of good old Bitcoin bull spirit here and there. He appealed and got it back, so that's a positive for now, but got hit with strikes from what I've read.

I know that many channels pump shitcoins all day but I don't agree with thow  YT is dealing with the problem.

what's wrong with AMP synereo. ?? Can AMP Hyperspace replace YouTube? YouTube is the most popular video (advertising) service in the world. One of the most important ways to introduce something in the world is via YouTube. including crypto. but they (youtube) have blocked it. so is there another option to introduce it quickly. I think if this continues, many people will lose their jobs from promotions and videos.

Does that mean you're going to applaud them for doing it? There are two ways of looking at it and mine is completely opposite because I can see that youtube is overdoing it. There are channels that deserved it for shilling scams and there are channels that got hit for nothing. There's too much collateral damage for my taste.

Yes! Just like I'm applauding mods here for trashing topics after I report them.
Collateral damage happens everywhere, even on this forum when banning people for plagiarism has sometimes come with mistakes.
I'm tired of having to use multiple youtube accounts because with the one I'm watching bitcoin-related stuff I'm getting hammered with all the shitcoins channel possibles in related stuff.

Common, let's be honest, just like with the so-called crypto news websites, 99% of them are pure garbage.
AA didn't get hit with any :
https://twitter.com/aantonop/status/1209646945804922881
and he would be first in the line if youtube would want to wage a war against cryptos.

Minex scam shill, 35 videos deleted

How not to enjoy this?

No, a cleanse was needed and unfortunately (from my point of view) it seems it was limited to a couple of hundred videos.

Oh, youtube is deleting all the shitcoins channels and all the "experts' that shill for scamcoins and scam exchanges?
Nice, I think I'm going to buy the premium subscription again Cheesy

The same people that spam twitter with hundreds of retweets from thousands of fake accounts and were surprised when twitter started cleaning it are now screaming how evil youtube is....
Lol at "educational" videos, 99.9% were about investing in scamcoins nothing about what bitcoin is really about.

Yeah, a shitcoin that no one has ever heard about is going to take the biggest video hosting platform in the world out of business, sounds totally legit.

But, but, what about the hundred or so ICOs that are planning on doing this...Oh, wait!

Some videos that were in fact exposing scams and trying to make people cautious were taken down because they included the name or link to scam site/coin.

Even if all the crypto community boycott YouTube, I highly doubt it would affect them or slow their business.
There are other great alternatives out there such as Twitch, Vimeo, dailymotion. But honestly, none of them can be compared to YouTube.

A boycott against YouTube is useless. This platform has billions of users, unfortunately the crypto community is much smaller. Let's hope this is YouTube’s mistake and everything will be the same as soon as possible.

YouTube cannot vanish like that but really need a tough competitor. That is what made the decentralized economy wonderful, no central control and you cannot be shutdown by anybody. However, most if not all the channels that have been affected have been restored. Hope there will be an alternative soon

I find the reason for removing crypto related videos/adds not convincing though.

THIS IS THE MOMENT FOR AMP SYNEREO HYPERSPACE  !!!

Yeah, a shitcoin that no one has ever heard about is going to take the biggest video hosting platform in the world out of business, sounds totally legit. No one is going to abandon youtube because of their action against crypto videos, outside of crypto community no one cares, and inside of crypto community almost all people would be unable to boycott youtube for long, because youtube has complete monopoly.

YouTube has no competitors. Unfortunately, we have to accept the rules of the media giant, even if it concerns the prohibition of content that is necessary for us. I still hope that the crypto videos were deleted by mistake because in the bad case this will greatly harm the community.

I agree with you. YouTube is a mastodon that will never die out. I don’t know what should happen for this platform to close or something would be created better than YouTube
