Buying bitcoin right now is not smart move. $900+ a piece is huge amount. You could loss your money when it drops. Usually $900 - $1000+ is the price people actually like to dump their btc. So buying right now is not suggested. Profit is not good if you buy at this price. You should buy some when the price is low.

If ones plan is to make a regular earning with the buying and selling process continuously without any interruption then even $900 is a good price which seems an affordable price tag.

Right now I think is not a good time to buy as you said OP, "The public bank of china, has already made their statement about how they want to make bitcoin more stable and less prone to scams in the exchanges." Because of china bank making bitcoin more stable, we will soon find the new bottom of bitcoin I think since they are just gonna work to make the price stable not to pump it so its not wise to buy now.

I don't thin it is the time to buy right now as the prices are quite high already and that would mean that you wouldn't profit that much when it does go up. I don't think it would go up that much anymore anyway. The best time was around a week ago when the prices are at $750.

bitcoin is on the rise again, and yeah the dips are always the best time to buy bitcoin but if you look at the time of fist post it was a round the time when dip happened and he should have bought then.

but again, you can't always wait for a dip, specially a big dip to buy bitcoin. the opportunities pass so fast by you that you will miss out if you adopt this strategy.

Just buy the same amount every week over the long run...

Same amount in BTC or in USD? There is a world of difference between the two.
I do agree that averaging out your purchase price works, if your objective is to accumulate for the long run.

This is a great price point to buy. $900 is the new low as far as I'm concerned. Soon it will be the last moment that Btc is under $1,000.
This is probably true, rather than being the result of a quick pump, the price has risen more steadily this time. I think the people who wanted to sell at that price range have already done it, and apparently the price has gained enough support lately. There are many signs that indicate that, in fact, this may be a great year for Bitcoin.

Since bitcoin is the future from our (bitcointalk users) point of view, it's always a good time to buy.
Since in the long run the price should only get higher and higher.
You may wait for it to drop to 600$ and have 20% more, but it's nothing compared to 100s% in a couple of years or so.
This is my opinion, and i think if you're a real bitcoin lover you probably think the same.

the best time to buy bitcoin? i think wait for it to reach 600$ then buy as many as you can then sell it on the end of the year of 2017 i know it would be a lot of money just like 2016 ends it officially hit $1100 - $1200 per bitcoin so that would be a great opportunity for us. and speaking of buying bitcoins where do you buy bitcoins? in a trader or you're gonna exchange it to a bitcoin wallet system ?

You must be right. I am also speculating this must be the last chances to buy bitcoins below $1000 prices. By next week we can expect bitcoin prices to go beyond $1100+ levels as Trump supports power to people. As per the political and economical situations of world, we can conclude this is the right time to buy bitcoins to get it cheaper compared to near future.

Right now, I think it is not a wise decision to buy bitcoin at its current price since any price above 700$ is too risky. There is a probability that it will fall below 700$ before rise so its better to wait but if you are in for long term, it is a good time to buy now but if your in for short term, its not wise to buy now. You can just buy a little now and wait for an opportunity to buy more again at low price.

No I am sure that we need w8 some time. Price will fall down. Price higher 700$ to buy is risky.

I think it will take a major shocking event to pull Bitcoin Price lower than $700.  I am not saying that it is impossible but we all know with Bitcoin any price change is possible but with the look of the current price, it just gone up to $900+ today, it is not touching sub $700 soon.
This time its really hard to predict the movement of the price since more investors and more company are supporting the price of bitcoin and we are just losing opportunity every time the price are increasing.. so right now we are seen that the price was hit 900 level so i think the price could be more increase until $948 and soon will decrease only 55% chance that it will hit that amount..So for now buy some and if the price was decrease you can buy more bitcoins if not you need to wait since you already have few bitcoins.. you can hold it and wait for the price increased.

there will surely be another correction soon, as there is always a correction after a rise since investors cash out to make profit and get ready for the next round.
but don't expect any major drop at all. because this rise is different so far. the normal correction at this point would be down to $900 and at worse case scenario is back to $880ish and jump back up to $920

The direction has been steadily going up. We had one healthy correction a couple weeks ago and now we're back on the steady climb. The next healthy correction will come after a new ath.

Yes, these days the bitcoin price is behaving very erratic and volatile, without a clear direction. I don't remember a similar behavior these last years, when raising or dropping 10% or more every single day is an ordinary thing. For traders this seems a great deal, but not for most of us who think a stable and less volatile price could help to enhance a massive adoption.

Well I somehow disagree with your price fall of 55% but I guess we are in the same opinion of buying right now and when it falls buy more.
The reason why I disagree on the 55% chance of falling is that, Bitcoin is being bullish now and the first crash of the year does not reach that percentage so i guess the next fall will be around 5%-25% .
