From what I bought in March it would of doubled in price as the price sits right now with it's thirty dollar uptick this morning.
But I spent it when I bought it.  Sad

I think it is also good to spend the bitcoin. When you spend, you help the circuliton of the bitcoin and make it useful.
Making an investment in Bitcoin will be now not the  best thing that you can do and that is because the price is already high.
So it wont be smart if you are buying one so that is really important because the value isnt low.

It depends on your perception of the future price. If you think the future price will be higher, it is better to buy now.

Exactly active spending always needed for the increased circulation of bitcoin. For this users can spend a little and try to hold on the remaining for the better profit on halving.

Buy now or cry later Cheesy

In the future this statement is 100% true imo but in the near future who knows  Smiley
I think that the price will reach $600 before mid-june so don't worry about buying know  Wink

yeah, i love this time in the bitcoin history there is a lot of opposite feelings going on a lot of people (hodlers) are happy because of the huge profit they have earned and a lot of others are crying because they lost the chance to buy and they are crying.

this is one of the example of these desperate people who are also crying about it:

I'd definitely buy if I had some spare change just laying around,  but unfortunately I don't.   Not going to sell any of my sig campaign earnings though.  Which makes me think:  if bitcoin went to $10,000 would anyone still be paying 30k sats/post anymore?   Would faucets still be operating?

Interesting question.
I think sig campaigns could still be there, but of course the payment will be much much lower.
The same would happen with the payout from faucets.

Agreed. A more experienced bitcoiner once mentioned on the forums that a long time ago, faucets gave away entire bitcoins. I think if the price reaches something as high as $10,000 the sig campaigns and faucets would either adjust or go bankrupt.

They will adjust. In fact, they have adjusted many times before. The dollar price is the same, but the bitcoin price has reduced a lot.

The price has reached $710 in some exchanges. The price is about $670 now. It is in the correction phase now.

Agreed. Good thing I didn't buy just yet yesterday. I'll see tomorrow if the price looks any lower.

OP was right, he made the thread at like 565 dollars and now we are back at 580 and climbing, it was an easy guess tho, the bull cycle has just started and we are going to keep going up, all those corrections are going to be very quick and they are nothing but opportunities to keep stacking all the way up.

Yes, buy more now or just buy-in if you haven't already before the price corrects upwards and beyond. How many days now until halving? Don't get left behind at the station.

Well that is true, but you don't know what China will do, because the pump at the moment is mostly because of them and has a little to do with the halving imo - maybe they will start selling just before the halving to asure themselfs, that they will make a profit and bring the price down very fast, just like how the pumped it up... Anyway I agree that it is not too late to join the train, but still it is risky atm - 2 weeks ago was the perfect moment to buy a ticket Cheesy
