Surely you know that failure has no followers but success has many people queuing to attach to the story.

Calling people into the crypto world requires more effort, especially if these people are not familiar with technological developments. It will be very easy if what you invite are people who like new things, especially the world of technology, crypto and blockchain cannot be separated.

I think if someone explains the people who are unaware about the benefits of crypto, how it can be helpful in personal life etc will add more value to them. There are many such people who might have just heard something and that too only negative things. So, in such instance for then crypto may be just scam but that is not at all truth. So, making people aware about things in a right manner will be helpful and many more will join and help the community as well.

At the time when countries print this much money and their debt increases to 100% and more of their GDP is perfect moment to call people to buy coins that will replace those currencies. Digital cash, possibly fungible. DeFi is just a buzzword.

What do you mean by calling people? Should we start telling our friends and families to invest? I wouldn't want to take responsibility for their losses.

While I see all the benefits there's still a chance this will fail or the investors lose money dou to their stupitidy or carelessness. Crypto is not easy nor safe for people who aren't tech savvy.

To OP. I will avoid to introduce DeFi to "new guy" (read = person who first came to crypto for the first time). And I will avoid introducing crypto only to get profit.
If you follow crypto price since 2017. As you can see, many new investors interesting in crypto because btc prise has increased multiple times, but suddenly price has dropped dramatically. And many of these new investors are experiencing losses due to buying btc when the price reaches its peak. That new investors yelling that crypto are scam, ponzi and etc. No. We must fix this.

I suggest that you introduce crypto especially about the benefits that can we get when this blockchain technology can be applied in our daily life. Don't forget to educate that cryptocurrency is not the same as blockchain. And when investing in crypto must have sufficient knowledge (the fundamental, the concept and the volatility). And always invest with money that we can afford to lose.

Never introduce crypto to "new guy" only about profit.

its the right time to coming into crypto market, we have big problem about covid 19 pandemic which is distrub our outdoor activity and ofcourse will influenced to our income. when many government spread about work from home, crypto market could be the solustion of this problem. we can be as trader and investors or even bounty hunter.there are alot opportunity in this market.

There's nothing wrong telling people about crypto and I believe every day is the right time to get into it. The thing is just, a lot of people still don't have enough awareness and knowledge about crypto, and it's not easy to call people to get into crypto because there is a lot of factors that need to be considered like educating them. The hype for DeFi is good, but you can't just tell people "hey try DeFi, it's good" because it does not work that way. Just like what I've said, every day is the right time, they can come anytime without rushing them.

No, at my country crypto still pros and cons so to call the people, such as make invitations on social media will stir up debate. So i just share information about crypto with my families. And if you call people, many of them don't have the knowledge and more potential to scammed and maybe you will be blamed

From what I can see, an overview of most people's attitude towards DeFi gives me a good look over what the future truly holds for the coin. It honestly looks like there are way more people who believe it's a hype than people who think it's actually useful at all.

I would personally not do anything about crypto in general besides telling people why I believe Bitcoin is amazing. I think it's so much healthier to have natural adoption rather than desperately attempting to gather as many people as possible. Moreover, we're in the middle of a seemingly bullish timeframe. Not the best time to gather more interested people.

We dont have to call people into crypto when the sentiment is right. The profit traders receive, price pump and lambo purchase in town will attract somany people into the space but when things like this start happening, the bull run is either near or gone. So its better to only tell those who believe in you and can risk little fund at the moment

It would be better to let people understand themselves and come to crypto than to advertise for some coin or something that may frame ourself as the con artist.
It's an good idea to voice for crypto whenever the debate arises or let anyone know about how it works and what you think about it if they are curious. Forcing your investment strategies would not be a good idea as it might ruin their first experience with crypto.

If you tell them to invest on DeFi project will earn ROI 100% etc, you might be better to shut up and don't tell them about crypto. You can check YAM, all of the investors on deficit since the price got massive dump (from $90 to $1)

IMO, I think there is no need to call people to join into the cryptocurrency industry because the cryptocurrency crazed was already here due to the pandemic most of the population globally has stayed indoor and while browsing the internet they found information about cryptocurrency thats why the market is going trending nowadays because many people around the world are starting to invest in crypto-related investments particularly in the Defi projects.

DeFi is indeed on hype but doesn’t that it’s bad investment. The main reason why it’s hype is because it has a real used case. I’m aware that there are a lot of shit DeFi project like $YAM and some copy token from Ampleforth($AMPL). There’s always a shit project in every hype just like what happened during 2017 ICO madness. Most of the DeFi coins like Chainlink and AMPL has a good use case which provides a solution on the typical problem on finances.

Chainlink -off chain data provider and solve reliability issues in using single centralized source.

I agree with you. Since a hype has been created in the market now, it is normal for some people to be overly excited. They will also lose themselves because of this extra excitement. By bringing newcomers to the market, they will also make a loss. So I would say it is better not to be over excited now but to closely observe the current situation. We are well aware of what happens when only one topic is discussed around the market.
