I'd be okay with that if the specifics like link removal were automated.

And your welcome, and thanks for the thanks  Wink.

It's the easiest way to spread the word that ref spam isn't kosher. It's probably the sole reason that people who do post it, get called out and told it isn't acceptable by members.

To be 100% honest, I'd love those scammy posts to be available to public, behind a secured glass (with all links edited/removed, as well as all potential dangerous content).
But my post was also a (disguised) way to thank you for the work. Wink

As a forum Admin for 13 years ... posts like this can usually be ignored.
Because 99.999999999999% of the time, the person's post was deleted for a valid reason.
Notice how the OP did not give *any* information on what he posted?
I have been accused of censorship ten thousand times on my forums, and I don't censor.
So guys like this annoy the sh*t out of me.  Smiley

i am not going to let this ruin my veterans Day.Being a solider who seen actual combat and fought for freedom . This is small . Goodbye enjoy your small amount of authority

buuut muh freedom muh combat, support the military !!!111 .  How is this of any relevance to your shitty spammy posts on wrong sections of the board which have resulted in your posts rightfully getting deleted?

Me too! I could have won $10 but then badbear decided I didn't deserve it.

I'm just kidding, of course, though I'm a bit frustrated when I didn't have a chance to read it before it goes to trash, both for education and the potential laugh.
Could you just make it vanish for us mortals, instead of showing off a "moved to trashcan" juicy link? Wink

That's not even all of them, at least one I outright deleted instead of just moving it to the trashcan.

say something not approved of by the MODS here and they delete your post.

bitcointalk.org is not keeping to the  fundamentals of bitcoin of freedom

instead the mods are silencing anything that they personally do not like

Great job MODS

Maybe read the rules and stop spamming? Instead of blaming the staff and getting hostile.

I'm sorry you feel censored, but there is no need to make 5 or 6 copies of the exact same thread just to promote your website. Different child boards of this forum don't exist just so you can spam all of them, it's for proper categorization.

On a side note I suspect you don't actually feel censored and you know perfectly well that it isn't acceptable anywhere, which is why you didn't say a single word about what the actual content was. I think you're just spreading fud in order to promote your own forum, which is a pretty scumbag move, and doesn't bode well for your forum.

Bitcointalk has its flaws, but very infrequently is censorship and issue. A few members have gotten into spats with moderators over a bad judgement call on a post which does happen, but I don't ever think I've seen a continuous thing. If you really believe you weren't spamming, take it up with Theymos, he will be happy to reinstate your post if it wasn't actually spam.

I've been saying all kinds of shit that I want to say and I'm surprised I haven't been banned yet, I've only had a couple of posts mysteriously deleted for being off topic, someone does do that occasionally but I think that's more a lapse in judgement than anything particularly bad. If you've been spamming though like other people have said then you deserve to have posts deleted really, spammers are a fucking nuisance and they ruin forums and make running a forum extremely annoying.
