Your crazy for not selling at least 5-10% of your bitcoin holdings at this price. It may go higher, but most likely it will not and will probably go lower.

More advice from am newbie who doesn't know how to read bid and ask depth or various other factors.

I've seen nothing but criticism from you in your recent posts with no offering of advice on whether to buy or sell or stay. I know it can be frustrating to see the new posters posting their thoughts without experience but you seem to have made a hobby of criticizing them. Get over your OCD behavior and you will find time to do more productive things.

No offense but this isn't a forum full of people that want to help you. To some this place is simply a way to spread FUD and talk to price down so they can increase their stash when the noobs sell.

While there are good people here, there are just as many scammers, liars and thieves. Money and greed tends to bring out the worst in people, and no one is going to hold your hand.

Welcome to the forums. Or Mos Eisley Cantina, which is what this place begins to resemble after you've been here awhile.

Don't even trust what this guy has to say.

After 1000, Hello slow ride to 10k. Normal people won't even invest in it till its around 10k

If bitcoin goes from 1k to 10k my bet is that it is going to be the greater roller coaster the world has ever seen  Grin

I dont think, unless you call 1k -> 10k  -> 6k  -> 25k  roller coaster  Tongue

Hah! what roller coaster would be complete without a rocket ride at the end?

How about 1k -> 10k  -> 6k  -> 25k -> 50k -> 100k -> 200k ...    Grin Grin Grin

I don't understand your logic. If you believe in bitcoin why sell it? To buy what? If you don't need to sell then why do it. The only option I see as a reason is to pay off debt and to live a debt free lifestyle. If not. Just hold eventually you will just spend them like normal and you will spend less than you need because the value will continually increase. Not to mention.... 40% tax on that!!!!!! Go ahead cash out for cash, pay taxes on it. Or just sit on it and just spend it. No tax! hmmmmmmmmmm
Only if you voluntarily advertise to the world that you made money on Bitcoin.

I don't see any reason why someone would do that.

As far as I know, the exchanges don't correspond with the IRS either.

It continues to fascinate me that we take all the financial risk, and the government takes none of it, yet we have to give them 30% + of any gains we make on it.

The epitome of unethical bullshit in my book.

The worst is you cant deduct the tax if you make loss instead, I mean for normal working person like me, not a professional trader.

After 1000, Hello slow ride to 10k. Normal people won't even invest in it till its around 10k... Then they will say to themselves. If i would have put 10k in there I could have paid off my house! Then will come the extreme panic buying like no other and every biz will accept it because they too will hear of all the stories of biz accepting making great profits from it.. It's not a loss until you realize it. I myself could have bout 3300 coins last year at this time. Bought a mini rig instead... Total Fail! The realized profit loss is huge!

If you really have that many bitcoins, and you don't want to cash out, I suggest you hold. Having that much potential money doesn't mean you have to spend it on yourself. Give your bitcoins to charities, not random investors.

Basically, I have enough, and more.

Well, if that's the case.
