Wankcoin was launched prior to this and already has acceptance on over 100 adult sites and is trading on exchanges. If adult sites aren't accepting wankcoin, they are accepting bitcoin. What differentiates this coin? Why would other players in the industry who haven't already adopted one of the other two currencies choose titcoin?

What you can't see of course is all the meetings we did with major adult entertainment partners that we have been doing in the mean time.
The first thing I find about WankCoin is May 2014. We warned about imitators here:

If you claim this, then please provide some proof, numbers and indicate us what you are talking about, the 6 hours dedicated to our early supporters, or the titcoin premine prior to that?Reasons for the titcoin premine:

PS: The premine that was done by the Titcoin team is announced beforehand and is part of our marketing strategy as described in the article. It is a bit late to give comments on that now.
Before the public announcement we allowed everyone that was on our mailing list to mine for 6 hours for two reasons:
- Make sure that everyone who was following us from the start, this is our way of saying thank you to the early supporters
- Allow GPU miners that were there from the start to get a few coins.
- Instead of refreshing the site every day, we e-mailed everyone a few days and one day before the launch to make sure everyone had an equal start.
PS: this was announced on multiple forums as well as on facebook, twitter, reddit, etc..

at the moment, multiple pools are having difficulties. On Cryptocointalk most of the miners seem to be moving to ispace.
I just got my first batch of coins from titcoin.slugmonkeypool.net. Looks like their cron job is just behind.
The stats on this pool titcoin.slugmonkeypool.net does not seem to be updating. Are they just behind or should I be moving my miner?
