Interesting, not every scam tries to pull a double like this. First luring people in with phantom riches is common, running off with a poor excuse like "we've been hacked" is common as well, but this adds plain old abuse of desperation. Obvious advice; take your loss. If you invested, your money is gone. Stop hoping.

so I was one of  the ones who lost their investments from Hashocean, and today I got an email from someone claiming that they are from hashocean and it states the following :

May they´ve sold the database already?  Roll Eyes
May they scam twice with the project ?  Roll Eyes

so I was one of  the ones who lost their investments from Hashocean, and today I got an email from someone claiming that they are from hashocean and it states the following :


"Hello, unfortunately these days our website hashocean.com, was hacked. Hackers took our domain and we have no control over anything. For our stupidity, we do not have the backup of the database. We will do the refund for you, but as we have not saved history, we will refund you your mining purchase under the following conditions. "Take the following actions properly, we have more than 700,000 users, and if we are looking for 1 by 1, would take years." To receive your purchases refund please visit: hashocean-refunds.com"

If anyone who gets one of these emails sees this do not send any money to them,

Chances are they are just trying to take your bitcoin and run
