He decision of which coin to invest in I always say depends on the investor. The investor has to come out with the intention and set targets of his investment so that I can choose the appropriate coin for him.
We can start investing in crypto without even a fiat money to start with so I prefer investment in cryptocurrency. Though it is too risky I guess the more risks the more chances of getting a better reward in the future. You can now join in faucets, mining and signature campaigns to start your earnings.
I always choose number 4 from the OP because i don't care about risking my money at all because i have a bigger FAITH than FUD towards bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Yes, they are so risky but they can also give you a very good roi even at short span of time.
If I have to switch from crypto, i would suggest gold because it has the most potential to last a long time and a history says that gold will be the most valuable treasure at a later time and will be a struggle in various ways, good and bad. And i believe that.
I also have questions. Why is China buying so much gold? Surely there is a reason for it. And now I find gold hoarding is also good. If there is any fluctuation, it will not affect much. 
Thanks for the heads up. I'm a firm believer of diversifying your holdings by not just investing on Bitcoins and alt coins, but actually going out of crypto currency and investing on a business, stocks or real estate. This will pull the slack left behind by mon performing investments.
I think our investment into the real estate and bitcoin is always advisable thing to do. One should apply a strategy in which one can invest money into the bitcoin and gain the profits and then later on buy the real estates with it. The real estate is important because it secures our funds and definitely grows it over the time. Real estate is like necessity of the world right now and the prices are touching the sky because the population is also growing vastly and thus the demand of the lands and properties. This way it makes sense that real estate is best after the bitcoin off course.
I want to add, investing in land will definitely be profitable ... because so far I know and do a survey that land never goes down prices will actually rise and rise.
In my opinion, bitcoin is the right place to invest even though it is risky, but the results that you can make you rich suddenly, but you must always look at market conditions.

Gold, platinum and real estate are good for investments. if we speak about the cryptocurrencies, I will choose DASH, Bitcoin, Monero, Lisk, NEO, Ethereum, and Ontology.
Now days Bitcoin is booming and becomes a trend of investment, it offers high advantages and also has high risks. Despite the risk involve in the investment into cryptocurrency, it has proven to be the best best when it comes to maximum returns. I would rather invest much into cryprocurrencies, hodl for market stability and trade them out. I guess those who do long term investment in crypto knows the potential and returns it brings them.
I think Even though bitcoin is risky but that doesn't mean that we have to go and keep that fear in our minds. People have seen greater benefits that have overcome their fears today. So all personal decisions really, if you ask me, BTC is the best.

i choose to invest in real state and crypto, because they both can gives a good profits in short term, crypto has a high risk but high profits can get in the right time, while in real state is almost like in crypto. when you choose a good real state properties, you can sell it double or triple when the time come.
