in present time the best option is to hold your bitcoin, because the price is expected to raise high. and you can play gambling at any time but will not find any opportunity after the price once raise. therefore to me you should invest your money in bitcoin and then to hold it for the price increase and when you make a good money there then you should play gambling.

To trade altcoins and anything for that matter you need specialized knowledge, you need to read a lot and then to take action, so while investment is better in the long run, that is only true if you know what you are doing.

But you have to consider a bigger amount for a bigger return.As you said , bigger capital means bigger return to get and it avoids you for your money ran out in the house.
