You are right, gambling is always risky whatever you gamble, So personally I prefer investing than gambling, because It's not too risky like gamble, If you know well in which domain you should invest, you will make some profit, So it depends in your experience and your right choice.

Gambling is not really helpful, if anyone thinks that gambling could help him to earn money then what's going to happen for him is he is going to lose for sure. I don't know why people are continuing to gamble even though they know they are just going to lose, they are denying the fact and embracing the false hope that is why they keep on playing gambling no matter what, if they are just looking on the other side, they might see Investing more safe to earn money than gambling.

If we look at gambling games based on luck as our main source of income, we could be really wrong because gambling that are based on pure luck is something to be played just for fun and that is it. However, if the gambling game is not at all based on pure luck 100% but skills of it is also a factor, then it could be a source of income if you will focus all your attention at it.

Gambling is not really helpful, if anyone thinks that gambling could help him to earn money then what's going to happen for him is he is going to lose for sure. I don't know why people are continuing to gamble even though they know they are just going to lose, they are denying the fact and embracing the false hope that is why they keep on playing gambling no matter what, if they are just looking on the other side, they might see Investing more safe to earn money than gambling.

my advice for day trading is could not take much advantage, only a few percent and it will be safe. If the risk of the price down you should wait or cut lose. But if your capital is pretty much better wait because altcoin prices will surely recover. I am also as day trading is sometimes when the prices difficult to going up sometimes I wait for 2-3 days and finally I can get a benefit.

yeah better to trade and collect small profit but steady rather than big but occasionally and ended up badly with regret to get loss over and over again. gambling are not your answer to have profit in the long run. it's just a pleasure that never last for ling enough. just think about how gambling have destroyed career and player lives. there's only few story about how a trader get depressed and ended up bad, but gambling guarantee you to broke.

I think it is one the best comment here in this thread. It is so nice of you that you have accepted gambling as the worst source of income. People often get into it just for making money but they are returning with being addicts of losing money, family and all valuables. You are sure a gifted person if you are both good in gambling and investing, you have to master what you are doing in order to have the success and I think investing is easier to master compared to gambling since casinos will not allow they will lose money to their gamblers, they are in the business for profit so they will do everything to also achieve their goal.

It's not about being gifted but it's about on how you can manage two things. And once you are starting to have a good life in investing you have to be careful too because as a gambler we know that we are too confident with our money and we can just gamble anytime we want so you should be cautious about your profit. You don't have to master both things or any of them, you only have to be familiarize and have a decent background with it.

I don't think they are equally at risk, especially if you compare gambling to invest in a S&P 500 index fund or in bonds funds.

I have a clear opinion on this: always prefer to invest rather than gambling, although as it had been said that one bitcoin is an investment in itself.

What most people wondering about these matters don’t have clear in their minds is that the higher the potential returns, the riskier your “investment” (I put it between brackets to consider gambling a kind of investment).

If I was wondering to spent 1 bitcoin in casino games, that would mean that I would have at least 100 times that amount divided in different assets: cash, low-risk funds, high-risk funds and stocks. And I would prefer to use that money for games like poker where I depend somehow on my skill.

i think if we can control our emotion in gambling games, it won't be a problem but i realize it is difficult to control it as we can see many chance to us to win the games but finally we are lose our money. that is why we don't have to make gambling as a way to make money in the long run because it will be full of risk if we still depend on the gambling.

I agree with you. as a player we can never beat the house since they created a gambling games that can give you money and give them money. they won't create a game that can make them lose so much better if you're playing gambling don't play and bet high on a game that's been programmed like dice game or mine games. you can have more possibility of chance to win in a sports game trust me that's the only game im betting right now and doing trading also at the same time.

The thing is, gambling and investing are almost the same. When you invest on something, you don't know if it's going to be successful or not, the earnings could be doubled or nothing. So, in a way, you also gamble when you invest.

I think we should not use the word gambling when we are referring to professional trading.. we should use the word risk only. Unless we are trading out of knowhere without any strategies at all. When you are a skillful trader, you are not gambling your trades, you are just risking with a higher probable of winning that trade.
