I would add that they don't need to go opening threads about how cool the merit system is, full of spelling mistakes, to see if they catch any merit because they may end up on some people's ignore list. Just being willing to learn, and willing to share your knowledge by helping others, is enough.

Hah. This is just too common. Some of them even are like "I'm just new to this forum" but then for some reason they already know everything about merits to bounties to the heavy bans concerning plagiarism and such. Totally not an alt account at all. 🤔

 Grin Grin Grin

Yah.... psychologically.... it's just like telling someone "don't take the money I hid under the box in my bedroom" in the ears of many
you've already betrayed the purpose of hiding the money in the first place....
you just want someone to go steal it Grin

My primary agenda is to learn first not much inquisitive to earn merits but I know that with positive communication here and creativity someone can equally earn merit without been over conscious to earn merit ,I acknowledge your guidelines senior, one day I will rank up.

And still, interestingly, you already talk about merits and ranking up. Are you sure that all this is not intended as a reverse psychology attempt? Wink

It could be that. On the other hand, the account is 4 months old, time in which maybe he did nothing, maybe he did read a lot. I don't know, I can't tell for sure.

Myself for example.... I opened this account since 2019, I didn't understand a single thing, everything looked like hieroglyphs on the tombs of pharaoh, you can bet its only 3 months ago I started being active again after I asked a friend how he earns altcoins....
there are still a lot of things I don't understand yet....
so maybe he really isn't a "dopple ganger" account

Ranking up on the forum will definitely be a problem for shit posters and those who like plagiarism which can even lead to ban, the problem is my newbies don't bother to go through forum rules and regulations before posting, I bet some don't even know there is rules on here

Ranking up is generally problem for newbies without knowledge and experience about crypto.
They really have to invest time and effort here to educate themselves about forum and crypto first and other benefits will come later.

It's really a problem since imagine how big the time they need to consume before they can reached to their target rank to join on any campaigns which available here, And they shouldn't target that matters really since what important the most is they need to learn something so that they can contribute to the discussion and know what to answer if they want to post some beneficial to others and became a quality member here. Also we don't need to focus on benefits since even if they rank up to Jr member and they know what to do on some task what a users ask here and be skilled enough for sure many offers will came especially if they do the job accurately and within the timeline.

Go through the relevant stickies in this section (sespecially rules and ranking) : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=24.0

~
Yeah, those threads sticked at every board are there because they're of utmost importance. And that's the first thing to read for newbies, I guess, before making a post or anything. And they're not hard to find since they're at the top of every section.

Also ranking should not be considered as a problem. It may freeze an account for some time but ranking up is possible and can be done. I know people here who literally started as newbie and now have a high rank. It wasn't easy for them, that's for sure. But it's possible. Just look at it as a challenge and not as a problem.

Always put in your mind the word "contribution", if you are consistently doing that, then ranking up is not a problem for you.

All you need to know is the forum rules, follow it all the time, I'm sure you have read it already.
And about ranking up, all you need is just merits, more contributions, more merit, more chances of ranking up.

good luck, that's all I can share.

I'm ready to learn

There is no need for your promises that you want to learn anything. Just do it and that's it.
The old story begins again. And it seems that the OP is another recent account that has been banned. Newbie again, and again a bunch of open topics.
Tell the OP, where are you all taught this? How did you decide and learn that you need to open up new topics and the more, the better?
Some begin you to ignore, and some, on the contrary, begin to closely watch you.

It could be more harder for old members on this forum to rank up but not newbies, as a newbie once you create a meaningful post or topic you will eventually get merits, you can lose focus if all you have in your mind is getting merited, don't even think about it but give good posts

Your plan is really logical and the work that it supposes, laudable.

I think that it depends more on your personality: some people don't take decisions until they have a lot of information, while others tend to act with no agenda. The first can lead to paralysis from analysis while the latter to act like a headless chicken.

I would advice you to try to reach balance. You could start participating in the forum in the areas you control and keep learning in order to know the environment while you walk, step by step.

I hope it helps but, again, it has more to do with your personality than with the right or wrong way to do things.

You can learn a lot right here on our forum if you want to start back on the Beginners & Help board and you can see the sticky threads I know its quite a lot but this will enlighten about your questions and doubt on this forum also you can visit our meta board too there are sticky threads right there to help you. Actually, there are boards you can visit and found out those rules above about the specific thread. If you by yourself help your knowledge first and try to change the mindset of "I want to earn", "I need to earn", "there is a lot of money here" into "I want to learn", "I need to learn", "There is a lot of information here". Grab the opportunity to change and become one of the quality posters of the forum, you can go to bounty campaign while exploring but its better to become a respectful, honour, and quality member which is not spamming and trolling other members. About merit if you want to have it create a helpful thread for sure there are member appreciate your contents.

IMO this thread looks like is not real. Why reading the Op, I wasn't inspired. As a newbie or if I were one (I was BTW  Grin) I won't have to open a thread based on how to learn on this forum. Locating the beginners section is a enough to know how to find your way around here. Bringing up a thread about learning the forum itself won't inspire much contribution but a thread about what is bitcoin, altcoins and some terms can be a stronger debate here.

I can feel your doubts. Sometime I've find post something like this expressive that you taught already, his likely an old user and not a typical newbie with it comes to knowledge and ideas. But we can't totally sure maybe some of them are really advanced minded people and easily cope with the forum ambiance and routine just hy reading.

I think what should help all new members is to study the environment first before looking for uplift, understanding the rules and regulations of these honourable forum perfectly and it will enable us beginner's to create a positive solution's in future through the community.

Funnily enough, people don't necessarily even need to know how the forum works. If a person truly knows and understands Bitcoin enough and if that person just replies constructively, he/she would easily earn merits. The problem is mostly not because people don't understand Bitcointalk, but they're immediately trying to earn merits and getting into bounties even when their knowledge is greatly lacking.

Can someone send me articles of rules and regulations of the forum because it's a major thing someone have to know in any society it belongs, because I know very well that I belong here and I'm ready to learn
Welcome,

Please read those threads and self-assess your feelings. If you feel good, the forum is a place for you. If you feel bad, and won't change it later, the forum is not a place for you.

I know that with positive communication here and creativity someone can equally earn merit without been over conscious to earn merit
Creativity does not equal to efforts to make non-sense, lengthy posts or topics (The Welcome message mentioned about it too). Please keep it in your minds when you make posts, after finish your Search.

All account ranking start with Brand New, which mean no activity on the account profile. After 1 post, the account rank will change to newbie and will last until you reach 30 activity. Activity and merit are the determinant of your account ranking increase and if you don't get any reward then you will be stuck in this rank until you manage to get at least 1.

My primary agenda is to learn first not much inquisitive to earn merits but I know that with positive communication here and creativity someone can equally earn merit without been over conscious to earn merit ,I acknowledge your guidelines senior, one day I will rank up.
Don't fool yourself that you don't think too much about merit and rank. This is probably the scenario that newbie to this forum continue to show off. Maintain the quality of the post naturally and explore the potential that is in yourself because that will make you a good user. Realize that if you care about quality and knowledge, I'm sure you also care about rank and merit. Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum! If you're here to learn you should get merit and be able to rank up pretty fast, but if you don't that's also fine ranks don't mean too much anyway if you write good content and interact meaningfully.
