Today, We all saw how weak PEOPLE who use bitcoins are.

True Dat! Bitcoin is SOLID- human beings can be all wimpy and squishy though  Smiley
You are talking about long pig, of course. Meat bags filled with disgusting liquids, decaying flesh, and micro-organisms. Bitcoin is too good for them.

Gox will continue to crumble to zero. Why should stamp and others follow it? Makes no sense. I am watching for the moment Gox keeps falling and all the others wake up and pull away the other direction. That would be good drama.

All falling,  585 usd btc-e

I disagree.
Its one of bitcoins strength that the price reflects the market immidiately, and nobody can change it happening.
In fact, this particular property of bitcoin is the closest you will ever get to devine intervention

The stock markets do this as well. At least in today's age.

Not always.  News after hours isn't reflected immediately.  "Circuit breakers" will halt trading for a "cool off period".  Exchange regulators will often freeze trading if there are unsubstantiated rumors.

Bitcoin markets are probably the closest thing to a "free" market in the world.  That might not last long though but you can tell your grandkids about how you traded when the exchange rate was set solely by supply and demand.
you obviously dont follow the stock market. news is reflected instantly. see any Google or Aapl earnings announcement. stocks trade after hours every day. news is relayed to trading programs within millioths of seconds, see fomc statements and releases.

It's OK folks! The software programmers are just skimming a little off the top. Bitchcoin will be back and running smoothly until its time for the next skimming.

Imagine if any sort of exchange not related to bitcoin had issues and stopp withdraw temporarily.  Think what would happen if the new york stock exchange had problems.  That doesn't mean stocks are weak as they crash because of an exchange messing up.

It's not that bitcoin is "weak"  it's that the foundation around bitcoin is still immature and in many ways amateurish.  This should improve as time goes on and customers demand better services and companies pop up willing and able meet that demand. It's still a young industry, give it some more time for more legitimate and well ran companies to move into the scene.

A single exchanger effected & played & scammed all bitcoin exchangers, all bitcoin users so much within one single day, how much money on bitcoin has been lost in 24 hours?

Absolutely none.  Because it will recover, and surpass the last high.  This is almost a guaranteed fact.

The real question is, why do so many people, like you, put blinders on when the price drops and forget that this is part of the overall process?

It goes up.  It goes down.

Its both fascinating and infuriating seeing such simple minded nonsense come from higher life forms.  Does it really require an IQ over 120 to remember that?

Money wasn't lost today.  The price dropped.  The only people who lost money, are the weak hands who sold on the way down.

True, but some people just have a tendency to overreact and trust news outlets too much. I cannot even count anymore how often the news gets something about bitcoin incorrect.

All this gets solved permanently once we have a decentralized exchange.

Those projects are already in the pipes.  It's only a matter of time.  We will have a decentralized exchange that cannot get taken down, co-opted, or subject to any 3rd party trust.

Unfortunately we have to deal with the centralized exchanges in the meantime.  But, bad news for the lemmings like this is good news for investors with vision.

Do you still think Bitcoin will be the world currency?

Bitcoin by its ingenious design is like a runaway train. If we all stepped away the train would continue to build steam.

It looks like bitcoin survived today. It could have been much worse. I feel good for tomorrow. Mt GOX needs to go the way of the dinosaurs though.

Bitcoin will be back up over $1200 by summer...if not earlier.
