Machine learning is the acquisition of some algorithms from an array of data. In fact, the result of machine learning is a different strategy for automatic trading. And the opinion of the crowd is only a part of external global data - just one of the indicators. Therefore, I think the projects have much in common, albeit received it in different ways.
I don't think what machine learning can help bots in trading process. But i think it can help choose right strategy for bot on start and changing it in tradding process from time to time for better results.
And i have choose this way for developing.
