XRP will be pretty popular in my opinion, the company is already doing great in the Japanese market and they have proven to have some really good relationships with instituions and banks. It's important to remember where it has been about a year ago and compare that to now. If that trend continues we'll be seeing some serious appreciation in comparison to what we have seen until now (which has been spectacular nevertheless). If you want to make real money though, try to invest in ICO's where the potential for return is much higher, anything that you believe will have a future might be a good candidate to invest in.
For me that is the following coins: BTC (afaik will it be the big winner overall), ETH, NEO, BNT, AE. I just listed the ones that I think will appreciate much in 2018, but there are a lot of other coins with hugh potential. I guess the overall rule for long term investments should be if the coin got a real world use case of blockchain technology. If they dont, they most likely wont succeed and if price appreciation happens it will be due to hype and other short term factors.

Now i am holding, Waves, Ethereum, Minexcoin, Taas in 2018. I also have some other coins but I don't think about them for long term hodl. I know that this coin price will increase very soon and I thin token should be hold in 2018. Because in 2018 token price also will increase then we will get benefit from here.
Bitcoin will be successful for next year, as it is every year. It has always been this way.

as a trader i will recommend you to hold Trackr,
they will launch their desktop platform,and because of that the price will be doubled from average price.
(actually the price already doubled before desktop launch,which mean it has a lot potential in the future).
other than that i think Gizer is another one.
they're opening an ICO in a few days later,
also they have an existing program that already running in the playstore.

if you said token then i think your mean its coins which is based on ethereum network and something like thati am not too know about this. but i can give suggestion that you can hold the coins like minex, bat, rise, ptoy, waves, ark because i see this coins can have potential to increase although we don't know when it will happen. but for me, i think its the best thing that we can hold our bitcoin until 2018 because i think bitcoin can be increase more than the price now so we can sell it later.
As ETH-based tokens I'm holding Omisego, Mysterium and Reality Clash. I partecipated in Reality Clash signature campaign and they paid very well. Also, they are developing a killer app for smartphone that is able to conquer the market. I expect it to be the next big thing...

If you're talking about strictly tokens then for me it's going to be EOS. It is a promising project that can definitely take off with the right about of marketing and media coverage. It also is only at 18-20th place in market cap, meaning that it does have upward growth potential.
Just keep an eye out for that token.
But if you're talking about cryptos in general, i'm still going with BTC.
I'm holding Ethereum, Waves, Minexcoin, Taas in 2018. I have some other coins too but I don't think about them for long term. When I had a chance I'll sell them. Majority of my portfolio is BTC and $$ cash though.
You have choosen different kind of coin most of them have good development team and has great stability that the price of those coins can increase in the market.
I will definitely continue to hold alt coins. My fav right now ZEN, ZRX, ENG, NEO, KNC. I will hold a little BTC in 2018. 2018 you will see institution investors enter the market. 2018 will be huge.

I have recently bumped into a website for airdrop which says that segwit2x is a promising alt coin from bitcoin's hardfork. The site also suggests to keep the tokens until 1st quarter of 2018 because it will skyrocket its value to the moon.
Ill stil go for bitcoin though small margin in profits but still rock solid and have increase greatly in its world wide adoption which will cause its price to be skyrocket in 2018. For alts ill still go for NEO, BCH, OMG, XLM, VTC, PIVX
