What would you guys advise someone who is retired, living off pension and savings? Is it too late/risky to invest at that kind of age?
Do you guys think the elderly have a chance of jumping on the crypto train, or do you guys think it's too late for them to invest?
No. it is never too late for any kind of person at any age or condition if he/she knows what they are doing. Cryptocurrency world doesn't have an age limit for the people than can invest. Anyone can do it from 8 years old kid to a 100 years old man or woman.

Definitely never too late. My father did not know about the crypto currency several months ago, and I will say even more. He really did not know how to use a computer, and could only play World of Tanks, but did not understand the basic things, did not know what it means to copy - paste, what is a link and so on. Today he already uses his own computer and also watches the world of crypto currency, and already has a decent list of various coins that he earned himself during this time. That's it.  Cheesy

Age is not an issue here. What if that old person knows how trading happens and is actually good in it. Perhaps that person has even more experience in trading.

I don't seem quite to understand why age is considered to be a hindrance in investing cryptocurrencies, maybe they are old enough to invest but some of the people who are in here in earth have the most money and the only problem that I'm seeing here is if they are willing to invest their years of work into something that they barely understand. Adults (most of them) don't understand the blockchain and their mind is limited by just what they are seeing nowadays in the present system, that's why most of them are anti-crypto without even learning what crypto is.
Its like saying to your grandfather a language he don't understand.
Investments are for generations to generations, and you will pass it on to your daughters or granddaughters, that's why algae is not a limitation in investing cryptocurrencies. It's not a matter of whether he will taste the fruit of his own investment, as we age we intend to care for the next generation than to ourselves and we must remember that.

It's never too late to know Bitcoin or invest it as long as we understand how Bitcoin works, but it would be better if we know Bitcoin and use it early, because the concern is that one's age factor will affect the person's performance so that his work is less than optimal. that's my opinion.

NO, it is not too late. Age is nothing. Knowledge is everything.

That is a good motto. It has nothing to do with age. As far as you can use your computer, you are welcome to crypto currency world. only thing you should be aware of security as there are a lot of hacker attacks.

We are most likely heading to a 10-15 trillion dollar market cap, so the answer is no.

You're never too old to invest in cryptocurrencies but if you've never touched a computer in your life, I wouldn't recommend it.

Exactly. It is not about age but it is about how your relation is with computers. There are some old people are good with technology and some of them is not.

Good point. It is not about how old the person is. I have friends over 65 and they are very good with computers, some of them is better than young generations. So for them it is fine to invest in cryptos.

In my point of view, investing in cryptocurrencies does not choose person based on their age. Earning with cryptocurrencies does not require you to be young or old enough before you can invest with it, it is regardless of your age, your status in life, your status of living, if you are employed or unemployed, if you are rich or poor, or retired person, or even those person who have disability. As long as you have knowledge in trading or investing everything is possible. So investing with cryptocurrencies is also possible for all of us. In fact, it gives us privilege to earn additional money but just make sure you invest with sites or cryptocurrencies you know are legit and really paying. Seek first for advises from other people who know a lot about cryptocurrencies so that you will be  familiarized with how to invest those cryptocurrencies properly to make your money grow bigger. Also be wise in managing your money, know when to invest, know when to buy and sell and know when not to invest. That is just simply it. Everything can be learned when people or a person is motivated to gain or have knowledge about some things.

everyone has a chance to join crytography. And I thibk it is good for the elders and retired peraon to do bitcoin because they have nothing to do, and I think bitcoin is one of the best way to spend there free time. Maybe they ate old and hard to learn new things but cryptography is not that difficult to learn. even a Child can learn it.

When you  are old and cannot work anymore because of your age,  investing in crypto can help  someone if they  wanted  to earn even if they are old. It's not yet too late to invest specially when you have some money to invest in trading but it is more important to secure your money and learn first before investment be done.

There's no age limit when it comes to crypto's or any type of investment and since you are retired and you are living off your pension and savings. This will be a good time for someone on that state to start learning how to do day trading. You'll enjoy and at the same time you'll earn too if you will be familiar on how you can do this. Don't think about your age, age doesn't matter we are all young in heart when it comes to cryptos.

It depends on their mental capability and financial IQ. If they are qualified for these two, then I am sure that age will not be a handicap for them. But if you ask me, at that age I would rather run small businesses.

In that case, You should work on bounty campaigns to earn more money. Investing is not always the choice, Even though your'e old, You can still work on bounty campaigns at home. This is the reason why bitcoins can save people from poverty, Its because ico's are giving the way for other people to have a job to do in their house.

Its never too late to start of really something valueable and relevant as BTC. If you guys know Col. Sanders, founder of KFC, he started already old like 60s plus until he found success of that business which is very relevant today. Bitcoin definitely will soar high in the coming years.  Smiley

Hi there Games.Bitcoin! I will depends on how old and how much money do he need. An elderly person who is retired and have a consistent money came from retirement benefits could definitely invest in bitcoins. However, as we all know that the moment someone is retired, he want to remove stress from work, and enjoy life. If the elderly man didn’t want this enjoyment and would continue to earn money, thus investment is a good option. But, he could invest in a less stressful job and prevent him from watching and trading coins to prevent heart attach. Lol.   Wink

of course you are too old at that age when you buy altcoins at that time but now you can buy altcoins now okay bitcoin as long as you are willing to earn it for sure when you hold it now You sell it over a period of time you earn a big one, why buy it when it's too late so it's not going to be used when it dies when the time buys.
