What would you guys advise someone who is retired, living off pension and savings? Is it too late/risky to invest at that kind of age?
Do you guys think the elderly have a chance of jumping on the crypto train, or do you guys think it's too late for them to invest?

It's not too late to jump on the crypto train but it is risky. Consider anything you invest to be a loss so if it gains, it is a bonus. Bitcoin is very risky from an investment point of view even though it is currently paying off very well at the moment for a lot of people, so your fixed income would be at risk if you invest too much. On the other hand, the gains can be significant and in a relatively short period of time - you have to decide the level of risk you're willing to tolerate.

I don't think so Smiley). People in this cryptocurrency world and especially in this forum don't really care how old are you. You can do everything you want although you're 100 years old at the moment. Investing in cryptocurrency is for everyone not for young people only. Beside you think how many years old are old? A lot of people in this forum were born in the 70s and they still working and investing in cryptocurrency everyday so don't mind about it, just do what you wanna do.

Investing is relevant at all age. Not too late nor too early. Retirees are very much welcome. Retiring should not stop us from doing something we love. We always have to stay engaged, stimulated, involved. Engaging in something new like investing makes retirees more alive, more mentally sharp and the retirement account can continue to grow tax free.

There's no issue of being old in crypto because money is the real factor when investing. We should guide the old people on what is the best ICO, altcoin could invest. Some of us we will take advantage of this situation to get those money they want to invest. Old people must have relatives to guide them on crypto to avoid scammers. There's a lot of scammers in crypto so if you don't know how to handle your money,  maybe you could lose easily.

I think those elderly people who retired have the most potential in bitcoin. First of all, they have the money to invest. Retired people are the most common people who start up a business or investment so it is not hard for them to join bitcoin. They are not late if they just heard about bitcoin. For me the people who are late in btc are the ones who knew it early, but didn't invest.

Its not too late.

Laser online offer you investment programs that actually pay. Yes is a ponzi but it pays.. I suggest investing what you’re prepared to lose. If you invest, put in your profit from a first investment not you principal if you’re wanting to play it very safe which is what I’m doing.. I’ve been burnt 1 too many times and want to make sure I dont lose any of my own money this time..

Good luck!

It’s Never Late to invest in cryptos Especially if it’s a good one, You know I am investing now in an ICO of Saske and I have taken advantage of their pre-ICO sale.
Now I’ve made more than 200% profit and aiming to sell some and Leave the rest to mine on their mobile app. Because it’s the only crypto with intrinsic value and can be mined on the phone.
If I would recommend for a quick Profit I would tell you, Go Take advantage of SXAS and Invest in it Smiley

If you want your investment to grow xxx times, it’s late for some good potential cryptocurrencies to invest in , but still awareness has not increased to all the people. So, there is still more growth expected but this growth will be in realistic terms just like any normal commodity.

No is my answer. Because Bitcoin is not only a candidate in the market.

I you are interested to invest thousands of dollars you can go for Bitcoin.

Meanwhile, there are ~800 currencies in market.

I will recommend you to buy Siacoin(~7$ for 1000 coins), Golem (.25$ per coin)

And Neo(Previous known as antshares) grown around 50 times in a month. Now at 47$.

Not really unless you are on your 80s or with some serious terminal illness but you don't have to be particularly have a youthful strength to participate and invest to bitcoin and you can still enjoy your earnings from your investment in just a year or less. Like bitcoin in just 1 year see how much it has grown its value and we all know how many happy investors there are now.

He is not sick, and even if he is that has nothing with bitcoins, he
can give his contribution in a way he can! Every member is important
and each of us is supporting bitcoin idea here.
I think its not late for him to invest, even if he suddenly dies he will
leave all his possession to his children or grandchildren. What he need
to do is to wrote his private keys in some notebook, with explanation
how to unlock his bitcoins, or alt-coins.

Age here is not important, the most important thing is that person must have some computer knowledge because he will need using Internet and he will need find any information about cryptocurrencies. But about investments in cryptocurrencies in old age is a very good idea, because you can earn extra money, it will be increment for pension, well it also depends from your investments, because maybe you will earn more then your pension size.

There is saying in English that there is no age of learning. So it is never too late to be into anything and to the case of cyrpto, it would never be too late because cyrpto is a boon and there is no age of using a boon. So it would always be too late if you don't invest in cryptocurrencies because their valuation is inflating valuation and moreover, this digital currency has a great future ahead. So no one is too old or too late to invest into these cryptocurrencies.  Wink

The people who have come into the stage where their lives are almost at the end, they would just cherish their remaining years in this world. If they have only enough money, then they would just focus it on the things that they love and those that will make them happy. But if they have surplus savings then they can set aside some portion for Bitcoin or crypto investment, not for themselves but for the people they love, as their children and grandchildren.
