You're all right. It is easier to say that the project needs value, and the value of the project is its community and the service that this community uses.If all these points are present then the project token will be priced and demanded in the cryptocurrency market.

I believe one of the major setbacks of the present crypto space is a lot of new projects are focused on providing the fastest easiest crypto coin to be used for payment purposes and transactions however considerably lower effort is placed on the vendors who are actually going to be accepting payment in form of cryptocurrencies because what is the use of having a crypto payment card full of money that you cannot spend.

You are right there are so many of them, but they are positioning themselves when the market grows for cryptocurrency payment, cryptocurrency payment will be adopted in the future, it is guaranteed to be, and it always pays for a project to be in the market, when that time comes.

This requires legal supervision. Currently cryptocurrencies do require formal legal documents. This will allow more merchants to support cryptocurrencies until that time. I think cryptocurrency payments will also get more people like it.

There is still a large need for adoption and legalization before more vendors accept bitcoin or crypto payments. This is given because cryptocurrency is still very young. But I think the projects trying to achieve this is a good step.

I think the issue for accepting cryptocurrency as a payments is where the funds came from. Companies/merchants will be liable if they accept funds that came from illegal activities and they can be legally persecuted for it. I think this is the reason, why most of them dont accept crypto easily because it is hard o verify where these money are coming from.

Indeed maybe there is too much projects and people don't know what to choose, but PayPal is against of buying crypto with, and if PayPal will somehow fix the refunds problem and will let people buy crypto with then more people will buy crypto.
