I hope those wealthy people who have negative views about Bitcoin should have second thoughts just like what happened to FB's

Zuckerberg who had initially banned crypto ads on Facebook but later on announced its Libra cyrpto project to the world! I hope they

could get a clue on Zuckerberg's sudden change in stance about crypto and have interest in it.

Those aren't even their honest thoughts, they say whatever will protect their wealth stash.  They won't support something that goes against their business interests.  Billionaires can never have enough money and most of them are straight pyschos.

These billionaires didn't make their billions with bitcoin, so they can say anything, and it will have little to do with reality

They should do more than discussing about btc in my opinion, I hope they are investors as well, It will do a lot of good to the crypto community if new money comes in to keep the market active, they should  try to be open minded and willing to accept and invest this groundbreaking technology.

You forgot to include Mark Cuban who has been one of the loudest pro bitcoin billionaires for years now.
Mark Cuban is owner of Dallas Mavericks and recently this team announced that it will be accepting crypto as payment options for game tickets so this should be added , it is significant!
Heard about that guy and he really deserve to be on the list. Well, those billionaires are slowly realizing the growth of bitcoin though some of them are still not sure whethet to support or not but in the future they will make their own way to support bitcoin. We have more things to do before the mass adoption, the price and the technology itself, more time for that.
Contribution of that billionaire to the cryptocurrency technology is not only ties to the financial support alone, but their intellectual support also. I think bill gate too does not really understand the concept of bitcoin technology, because if he does, he would not be looking at it from then angle of assets alone, but he would have also extended his view of it to the currency part of it.

If he had done so, being a high-tech guru, he would have as well thought of the ways of using his expertise to also see how the technology can become better before the adoption. I believe that bitcoin technology is still opened to development and addition, and we need people who are intelligent in the blockchain industry to really make their own input for the system to be better accepted.

i'm at a loss for how jack ma intends to integrate "blockchain technology" into alibaba. for the last year he's been talking about using blockchains to improve on international supply chains, but he's been completely silent about how. it's starting to feel like a vaporware/hype thing, similar to how bank of america is always filing cryptocurrency-related patents. maybe it's more about generating hype around the company and seeming relevant re emerging technology/fintech than anything else.

At this point it's pretty clear that most of blockchain's proposed use cases are just vaporware at this point - it's been 3-4 years since we started hearing about supply chain blockchain, medical blockchain, blockchain for gaming and so on, and nothing really happened in those fields - there's no companies that seriously adopted it, no good proofs of concept that work at least on smaller scale. Yet "blockchain enthusiats" (read: bagholders) constantly repeat how blockchain is a great technology that is used everywhere. Altcoins have already started dying, and in a few years "blockchain technology" will be viewed by investors as a vaporware - developers already hold such views, according to the latest stackoverflow survey.

Conclusion

You can`t teach old dog`s new tricks, especially when those new treats threaten their old ones. *looks at that last two guys on the list*  Roll Eyes

Elon is right, he is also right about future AI wiping us out faster than we the think. Actually it already did and we live in its simulation already  Roll Eyes

For the first time, Elon Musk openly shared his opinion about Bitcoin in 2014. Then he called the first cryptocurrency a good thing and added that, most likely, it will be used for illegal transactions. Later, said something like hat money created using cryptography is much better than pieces of paper printed by governments.
Musk swears that he does not have many BTC, but I doubt it.

Seems like none of these billionaires understand what the heck is Bitcoin if they think that blockchain is the technology behind Bitcoin, because that's just a lie. Blockchain is simply a part of Bitcoin's protocol, just like PoW, SHA256 or Merkle trees. No one is saying that they are excited for those technologies, and no one should be excited for blockchain, because there's no examples of someone successfully using blockchain on its own.

For some time talking about blockchain was something people were doing to look smart because maybe 1% knows what it is and how it works but most heard the word and know of its existence. Years ago it was quantum physics and before that it was internet business and taking the business online when most people only had a modem and used it to send emails and download porn.

Blockchain is overhyped and its value compared to bitcoin is overestimated.

Any billionaire in the world sees the potential of Bitcoin in the future. Every billionaire makes accurate comments about Bitcoin, and I believe that Bitcoin will do more than what billionaires have said about it. You will see Bitcoin will change the whole world in the future. Any billionaire who knows Bitcoin owns a lot of Bitcoin.

I will not think too serious with them, let them debate about cryptocurrency while I can use my time to earn more bitcoin. I guess they don't know anything about bitcoin, and  they still search for more information about cryptocurrency. But from all list, I think Jack Ma and Mark Zuckerberg knows about cryptocurrency better than the other people, but I am only guessing, and I don't know the truth about them;D

Some of them have businesses threatened by Bitcoin.
Some were bashing Bitcoin and may have bought while bashing it.
And some have embraced crypto or started businesses in that direction.
Did I miss anything?

There are also miners to consider. Some bussinesses in real estate for example have done things such as keeping miners in pre-built and unoccupied properties.

Mining crypto coins is ... just another business in the crypto field; they do it to earn crypto, isn't it?
So imho it is on the list already.

The only person on that list with any real experience with digital payment systems are Elon Musk, co-founder of PayPal.  Wink  His vision and insight on the technological future of payment networks, would give you a more accurate prediction of what is going to happen with Crypto currencies in the future.

He is very positive about Bitcoin and he can see the flaws in the current Fiat system and how Bitcoin solves those problems. Why would you listen to a dinosaur like Warren Buffet, when it comes to "new" technological advancements in payment networks?  Tongue
