I disagree with you about TRON, I guess it's very overvalued!
My top 4 Cryptocurrencies for 2018 are Bitcoin, Etherum, Ripple, and Tron.
I see what you did there.
I placed most of my money in Ripple because I consider it promising, and distributed the remaining funds between bitcoin and the ethereum. I think they will not show too rapid growth this year.
I personally think apart from BTC the king of cryptocurrencies, the top 4 cryptocurrencies for 2018 is Ethereum, Ripple, Neo and Monero.

Eth, ins, neo and verge are on my lists. Ins raise huge funds when they had an Ico, these could earn a profit indeed this year. I will hold these both and will take profit when price rises.

Bitcoin is first on my list because it is the market dominator. All altcoins descended from Bitcoin, and are mainly bought via Bitcoin transactions. For example if i wanted to trade in my PotCoins for USD i would first exchange it to Bitcoin and then to USD. As long as Bitcoin remains the medium of transactions for cryptocurrencies, its price will rise as the total crypto market cap rises.
As for Etherum, i put it on my list of top 5 cryptos, because “Ethereum is an open software platform based on blockchain technology that enables developers to build and deploy decentralized applications”. That is, as long as new cryptos are being created, which in my opinion will go on for a while, Etherum will remain.
Ripple is also one of my favourite because of its outstanding performance this past year. I personally invested in Ripple at 0.03$, so to see it at 3$ and growing is awesome. Although, i do see a limit to how much a Ripple can be worth. Ripple is second largest market cap, so with ripple at 3$ for it to get to for example 15$, its market cap whould have to increase by a factor of 5. For this, ripple would be sitting at a market cap of over 600$ billion or almost the whole market cap for cryptocurrencies. This is also due to ripple having such a large supply. With a large supply, for 1 ripple to be worth alot, the market cap must be huge.
As for Tron, it is a fairly new Cryptocurrency and so i havent seen yet how it would react to a slow market. Ive only been watching Tron recently and it has grown tremendously but the crypto market cap too has been growing. Tron has done so great this past week, reaching 6th largest market cap, that i do believe it is here to stay in the top market caps. Although there are rumours of Tron partnering with Alibaba. If that were to happen, I see Tron taking 2nd position in largest market cap, right before Bitcoin.

For me, Top 1 is bitcoin and second is Etherum. Bitcoin this year will shine more than last year.
For Ripple and Tron the new cryptocurrency, I think the price will up next 2/3 months. For investors can invest this two new comers cryptocurrency, to earn the profit.
Why the people constantly think that bitcoin will always lead the world of cryptocurrency? it's because the price bitcoin getting higher for now? that i remembered is cryptocurrency is a decentralized system, so every price coin depends on the user's coin. Could it be that some of the problems that occur in bitcoin make investors switch to other coins? such as a high fee for a one transaction process.
Well, so far I really love bitcoin because at least has changed my lifestyle. Hopefully, in the future a weakness of bitcoin can be fixed. By the way for top 4 cryptocurrencies 2018, I choose bitcoin, litecoin, ethereum and dash, because there has a great potential.

It all depends on what stage you came to these coins. if you bought them in 2018. They are very expensive and do not have a lot of x's. But if you took them before the summer of 2017. The profit will be significant.4 coins in my opinion from my portfolio

i am holding TRON since it's 0.03 and always keep an eye on him.
but i doubt that Ripple can go for a long run. hmmm..
TRON will have a good future and i believe on that as justin the CEO is really doing a great work for development, as ripple is just a hype and not a good one as many crypto community still dont want ripple as it has a platform of banking. YES, ripple pump on price in just a short of time this year, but fell when coinbase down them.but i doubt that Ripple can go for a long run. hmmm..

My top cryptocurrency for this year is crypto that has big community already like DGB, WAVES, ETH, DASH and LTC. These cryptocurrency exist more than 1 year in crypto market so many people and investor know them and also know their featured. In my opinion these coin will have bigger community so the demand also increasing and the price also continue rise.

Yes I know right. Tron could be the possible thing in cryptocurrency. I should've bought it when it was .005 USD, well I almost bought some of it but I hesitated I thought I am buying something that is not possible to boom in the market. Mine would be the following apart form the Top 10 ones:
1) NEO: Very good competitor for Ethereum and since a lot of ICO will be launched based on NEO this will be a good time to get in at low price.
2) XRB: Solution to Bitcoins scaling problems. Now that its going to come to Binance this coin will see a lot of shilling.
3) REQ: My favourite. Its the Paypal for Crypto. Go thought the white paper. Its very easy o understand.
4) IOTA: Kind of skeptical on this one. But since the future is on IoT. IOTA will sure see a lot of applications once a proper POW is set up.

hardly i have seen anybody mentioning LTC well maybe because of high rise last year. people might be thinking its not like it pump again but anything is possible in crypto world and besides LTC is also a strong coin. going wide again wont surprise me. ETH and LTC trend is something to monitor. when ETH pickup for awhile then LTC is next just like what is happening now. ETH has drop and LTC has picked up again
I also find it odd that LTC is regularly left out of these discussions.
It's a proven coin and its utility is well known.
Is it not considered in 2018 altcoin discussions simply because it's not a sexy, new thing?
As a buy-and-hold proposition, LTC seems to me to be a relatively smart buy.

hardly i have seen anybody mentioning LTC well maybe because of high rise last year. people might be thinking its not like it pump again but anything is possible in crypto world and besides LTC is also a strong coin. going wide again wont surprise me.
